Great store and staff. Love the brands they carry. Only downside is all the clowns in their Outbacks and Forresters parking in the contractor bay and making the work day harder than it has to be.

There is a wide selection in all departments. The staff is helpful and friendly. We purchased a few cabinets and one cabinet was missing shelves. They were able to quickly get us what we needed. They also compensated us gir some damage to the cabinet. They normally have a good selection of outdoor plants and flowers and holiday decorations!

Do not have anything delivered if you want it in good condition at your door. I ordered a set of chisels and everything was out of the box. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is pathetic for the amount I paid for these.

My first trip I ordered a fridge but later found out it would not fit in our door so I had to cancel the order. Thank God I did because the lady who was doing that order tried to charge me alot more money for that fridge than it was on sale for. So it was a blessing in disguise. I got my refund and ordered the new fridge and it should be coming Tuesday.. both fridges were on-sale for the same price I added a 150$ 5year warranty to the second fridge and it was still only like 40$ more than the first order. because they tried to charge me wrong price on first fridge. also the fridge installation says it's free but they tried to charge me 20 or 30$ for a later line I didn't even need for my fridge. So be careful and look into what they are trying to charge you.

Bought a washer from Altoona Home Depot.Hooked it up and it doesn't agitate.Called Home Depot and they said I needed to call Maytag. Called Maytag and they could send a repairman out on the 14th and only the 14th. I have to be at the Hospital on the 14th so I can't be home. Could not give me any other day to come, that was all that was available. Called the Altoona Home Depot and received no assistance whatsoever by a very rude employee. I will not shop Home Depot Altoona again. I reached out to Maytag again, problem solved.

The garden center was lovely and full of plants that were well cared for. Prices haven't inflated. They host free activities for children on Saturdays (check with the store for days/programs). Headed back tomorrow for play sand and a small fruiting tree!

Forget lowes . Home depot is my go to for home supplies. Their employees are actually helpful compared to other stores. One guy employee stands out to me I believe his name is Donald, big guy that will help with anything that you need .

We just bought a snowblower at Home Depot in Altoona PA. Michelle went above and beyond to accommodate us in this transaction which involved spending about 15 minutes with us to locate the boxed product plus get help in loading it into the car. She was so friendly and patient with us, and it was greatly appreciated.

I was at the Altoona Home Depot today 1/18/24 at 630 pm and the tall gentleman in the flooring department was incredibly rude. When I asked him if he worked in the flooring department he looked down at his feet and said “ I am standing here ain’t I” He was actually standing in the adjacent department talking to a female employee. He told me numerous times just to look online when I asked him any questions. He acted like I was bothering him and was very short with his answer, dismissive and not helpful. I would give him 0 stars if I could

It's great that they open at 0600 that way you can pickup supplies on the way to the job site. Too many building supply companies are opening at 0800 or 0900. You lose too much time dealing with those guys.

Home Depot is a no-brainer. You need it, they have it, and at a better price than Lowes or Ace Hardware. They also have their act together. Lowes should take lessons. I know a few of their employees and they shop at Home Depot

I purchased a lawn mower online May 2nd and had to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive. After the delivery was delayed for several days it finally showed up yesterday. The attached pictures show the damage. I spoke with customer service today and while the person who took my call was very polite, there was nothing she could do other than return the mower as the one I ordered is out of stock. There is nothing comparable to the one that I purchased so I was told there was nothing else she could do. I have now been without a mower for several weeks and had to rely on a neighbor to help cut my grass. This has been a horrible experience and makes me want to stop shopping at Home Depot.

Ordered a insulated storm door from home depot in February it is just now being completed September 8th too many screw-ups and no one wants to take responsibility and ever return a phone call 3 different managers said they would call me back once they checked into it and none of them ever did. Worst customer service ever that I have dealt with in my life.

This is the best Home Depot I have ever been too. I've been in quite a bit through different states . Yet, so far this is where I feel the most comfortable and well served Been here a few months and I've never had a bad experience. The associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. I always find everything I'm looking for and sometimes extras.

Paint associate offered me assistance and then left the department unattended to go to a department meeting. 9:30 a.m. is an awful time to empty every department for a useless meeting. Looks like I'm heading to Lowes

I believe Lowe's is the rudest company I have ever shopped at. I can see one employee gives a customer a hard time. But three different employees giving a customer a hard time. I no longer shop at Lowe's. If I could give them a zero for a star. But the app won't let me do so. I have to give them a one star. That's why my family and I starting to going to Home Depot.

They have activities on first Saturday of each month for children. My grandchildren love making the activity kits and they receive a pin and certificate when they are done. If you would rather do at home they will give you a kit for each child you request one for. Today they made a Christmas ornament train that they can place a wallet sized picture of themselves in it and hang on the tree. Dec 3 rd they have a Santa mail box kit. Looking for an awesome activity for a child or children go to home Depot Dec 3rd.

Do NOT buy a door from here. Long story short, the measurements were correct, but they cut the wrong-sized door. We were promised a discount that we never received. No follow-up calls by them, nor any communication on what kind of hardware to get for the door, which resulted in me buying the wrong items.A mess all around.I have been a loyal customer to Home Depot, but this has really turned me off.

Rushed in for paint right before closing, and my friend made a joke to the 3 workers up front that she knows they're thinking...oh great 😩 and the one girl laughed and said, oh no, take your time, well 15 minutes is what you have! She was also very friendly when we checked out. It's nice to see some people that like their jobs, and still have a sense of humor these days! 😊

Bought a new deep freezer only to get home and found it dented and bent in multiple spots. Called up the store and they where able to bring me a new one right to my door stop and swap out the same day!! Our new Freezer works fantastic and the customer service was perfect. Now if only they found a easier way to get ahold of an associate while in the store. Thank you Dustin and Mary! I will be returning!
