I called with questions about my prescription. I'm supposed to get a 90 day supply and was only given 30. I called and asked why I didn't receive my full prescription, and the lady very rudely kept telling me "I don't know what you want me to do about it". So rude for absolutely no reason. This isn't the first time I've been made to feel like an annoyance for having questions about my medication. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Had prescription called in 10am. Went to pick up 5pm. Not ready come back 7 pm. Came back 7 pm. They asked me to have a seat to fill the script. Lol unbelievablely poor service.

This place has some of the most unprofessional scumbags I've ever came across. if you can't handle or hate your job move on. Won't get into it but the most ignorant, sarcastic women I have ever dealt with In my entire life. Will be moving on from this hateful and sinister place.

Under staffed was kept waiting on hold for over 7 minutes, hung up and called again. Rx to be ready today after calling yesterday. Still not finished. Told 5pm and we close at 6!

I wish I didn’t have to give one star!! I use the rite aid at station medical but because they aren’t open on the weekends I didn’t know until I called my refill in. So I called the one at chestnut Ave and right away when I said where I normally fill at she said very rudely that they aren’t pulling prescriptions from anywhere!! This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience with this pharmacy. I will be taking care of this Monday morning and having all of my prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy all together. They lost my 10 plus years of service!!

They make sure that you feel like you are a low form of life. Prescriptions that are called in are never done unless you call about them. I'm on life sustaining medicine and I'm not supposed to miss a dose but I often am due to this. You never know if they are open unless you call even though the hours are posted. The other day it's said 9pm but was closed by 6pm.

This place is right beside a hospital and you would think they are used to getting called in prescriptions from doctors sending patients home...I went in at 6:30 at night and they said can't fill the 4 prescriptions until the next afternoon. I told them my sister just had surgery this morning and needed the meds tonight. Pharmacist actually very rudely YELLED across the counter that she had 500 others ahead of us. Three other people also left at the same time without their meds. We went across town to another rite aid and they were closing in 5 minutes but called the other store and got the meds transferred and filled them, even though the pharmacy was technically closed by now. This pharmacist should be recognized for her great compassion and willingness to help at closing time. From reading other current reviews Rite Aide has ignored the problems at this store. So with that being said I do not accept your apologies, which looks like that is all you do to fix the issues at this store. Retrain your workers or get rid of them!

This place is AWFUL!! I don’t know if they treat their employees so bad that they can’t keep pharmacists or Pharmacy Techs or what, but they literally hold your life saving prescriptions hostage!! They randomly close early & stick a cardboard sign in the window saying they closed early ( this has happened multiple times) I even call 1st because of this and the recording says they are open. They don’t even care enough about their customers to at-least update their recording so you don’t waste your time & gas going there. I have tried 3 times to pick up my prescription in the past 2 days with no luck.

Ignorant rude pharmacist! Claimed they are 3 days behind but that's a lie since people been going in and out their drive through pretty quickly. Rite Aids are all connected she could've got my script just to lazy to do it. That's okay already contacted CVS they just lost my business. Need my meds asap so I don't end up going back in the hospital on machines again but they don't care about their customers. They've lost me as a customer.

I've been trying to pick my scripts up for almost a week now. I keep getting told they have no pharmacists that want to work so there never open for me to get these meds. Unfortunately I have several health issues that require these meds for my everyday well being. I've dealt with rite aid for years and I've always been happy with their service until recently. Please Rite Aid....get your business back together. These meds are not wants, they are unfortunate needs.

Awful pharmacy to go to. Pharmacy has been closed for 3 days. A lot of people have life threatening or mental illness medications they desperately need. They have a sign on the drive thru window saying to go to the other rite aid but the employees inside say the other rite aid was closed. No hours updated online or when you call. Tried to talk to an actual person to confirm hours were still the same but I got hung up on as soon as I was taken off hold before I could even ask anything so I just decided to waste my time and gas driving there anyway to see for myself. Outside of this issue. The wait times can be up to 45 mins in the drive thru. It’s insane.

I feel like this pharmacy needs to hire some hard workers,some people who have experience being under pressure . My wife and I always are told that our prescriptions won't be ready for at least 4 to 5 hrs,lol,wow,I mean why can't the pharmacist see that's a problem? Hiring more professional harder workers who are not judgemental and who don't look down on people who get maintenance meds would be great for this store because it's just gone way too far,my wife got in an argument with the pharmacist because she was getting her subs and they were all looking cross eyed at her and he said some something unprofessional to her that made her feel bad. Y'all need better staff ASAP ,u can clearly see that it's not just one or two people complaining. Yall can't even like your job to be acting like this,maybe it's time to find a different career.

I've been selected by my group to post this, considering we've all had the same experience. We are all in recovery and take maintenance medication. Your pharmacy has looked down their noses at us each time we go in to fill our meds. They act like it's an inconvenience if we say we will wait for our meds. Or they say it will be a few hours before it will be ready in a really snooty huffy way. They treat us like we are lower life forms and it's not right. Is this how you train them because this is how you feel? We go here because your close to our homes, but we are thinking of going elsewhere. Our lives are hard enough because we asked for help. I thought the pharmacist was a part of that help.

Numerous Chances...No more benefits of doubt.Pharmacy Staff; Deceptive, smug, brash, lazy/extremely slow, obviously power tripping, unwarrantedly condescending, unsupervised bottom of the barrel, low class customer service I have EVER encountered at a Pharmacy. Both Male & Female alike. The one & only exception was 8/5/22, Pharmacist & Drive-Thru Associate were absolute Godsends, they were humble, professional and hard at work, it is not THAT difficult to be hard at work, honest and respectful. Note; Older, brunette female in Retail Dept is a very loud mouthed, condescending attention seeking, power tripping, wench. Review is for; Chestnut Avenue Location, Altoona PA!

Was very sick, went to doctor last min appointment. He called in a prescription. Went to pick it up, was told it would be another 4 to 5 hours. I needed this med ASAP. I have been doing business there for approx. 20 years, give or take. My medications are very very HIGH

Called pharmacy to have an antibiotic script filled as my regular location closed early. Rudest man I’ve ever spoken to after I asked if there was anything he could do to help, “I have 1 hour and 45 minutes left of the day and 8 hours of work in front of me. I can’t help you sooner than tomorrow afternoon” I understand if I wasn’t able to be accommodated, this interaction was just extremely unnecessary

I have never experienced such a staff of technicians that make you feel the way these bunch do. Even if I am picking up the medication for someone else i almost feel like less of a person because of this crew. Always find a way to make my visit the complaining topic for the next hour or two after. Also no one around you should know what the medication you are picking up is, but these people seem to shout it for everyone to hear. Privacy policy violation?

The store staff is always friendly however if you're going to the pharmacy, they sometimes just stare at you from behind the desk and wait for someone else to address you. The prices are often way more expensive than other places although they occasionally have insane deals on certain products. I only shop there because my bonus card gives me a 20% discount on all purchases otherwise I'd probably get my script filled elsewhere.

The lady at the pharmacy was very rude and ignorant, I needed to pick up my nephews medicine, the hours on the window say pharmacy hours 8am-10pm, she said we close at 9 in a very rude manner, she could have been more pleasant. She was working on veterans day 11-11-2021.

I usually never purchase there , not for any particular reason,usually have dealt with other pharmacies . However , I will bestopping there more often now . I went to get some simple eyedrops , 4 shelves worth . I went and ask the Pharmacist Ericand he walked down to the shelf with me and described the options . I've seldom been treated so kindly anywhere in Altoona!If you need assistance at the pharmacy , ask for Eric ! A verypleasant , informative young man ! THANK YOU ERIC !!!

I had just recently put in an application for employment at the store on chestnut avenue. And I had called to check up on my status with the employment and got a man named John, he seemed very adgetated when he answered the phone. But he had put me on "hold" which he had just sat the phone down, I heard him wait on 2 customers and he proceeded to pick the phone up and tell me " I have no positions available right now I'll keep your application on file" && Hung up on me without another word!!! but I wouldn't have a problem if he wasn't so rude about it and his tone of voice with me was irresponsible, ignorant, and was not as you would call comstomer service friendly! I will never go there again and I was a frequent shopper! And a member of their pharmacy! But now I am not! So I do not recommend this store at all period!

Pharmacy slow, don't answer the phone and I'm pretty sure sure don't even start working on your perception till you call and ask about it.. my doctor appointments are at 8am and I don't have my medication untill almost 3 everyday and when I get inpatient they give me a attitude acting like I don't need my medication in the MORNING
