Went to the Veternarian clinic. They were really nice and pleasant. My animals were not fearful, which they are when taken to the Vets office.Cared for my animals and were able to update them with the shots they needed.

Love to stop at this location to pick up online orders for my daughter’s hamster since we frequently shop next door at Target. Picking up online orders is always a breeze, which makes me very happy. We picked up a new saucer wheel for her hamster Cutie and she just loves to sit, stand, stretch and run all night on it!

Cashier is rude as all hell. Younger girl who thinks she's "funny" and "cool" but actually creates an extremely uncomfortable and hostile environment for customers. Luckily this town has more than 1 petco.... go to the other one near ULTA if you value customer service.

There was noone available to ask questions. I have a dog with severe allergies to chicken. I need to find a good quality food with tons of protein but NO CHICKEN OR CHICKEN BY PRODUCT. There are a lot of foods there but noone to ask advice. The cashier was cold and totally unresponsive to my situation. I will be looking elsewhere for Milo's food.

We were pleased with this location, but the last 2 appointments have been a nightmare. In December our appointment was rescheduled due to no groomer available.. the day of the appointment..ok things happen. Then the rescheduled day less than an hour before the appointment they texted to cancel! My husband was on the way with our dog - missed an hour of work for nothing! Fast forward to today our appointment at 1pm is confirmed 10xs via text this week. We receive another text from Julie saying she's not available at 1pm anymore, but if we can bring her now she can do her at 10am. People have lives. My husband missed church to get our dog done today as she needs it, and there's no time this week to get her in - hence the Sunday appointment. We now have 2 extra trips to Altoona as we had a party at 130pm. .. plan was- drop our dog off ..party..pick dog up. Good thing gas is cheap right? This is Bella's last trip..we wont be back. Today she has no bandana and no discount for accommodating them. We tipped well and made consistent appointments..taking our business elsewhere...

No employees at the register. 4 people in line for about 10 minutes till someone showed up. The cashier was rude. This store no longer gives bags for your purchase, but no signs at the entrance warning you need your own or pay for theirs.

How they treat their customers is just so disappointing! They refused to do the grooming for my dog when it is a free one. The past grooming seemed no problem at all, because I paid so much for every grooming! Once Petco has a free voucher for my dog, it seems no one wants to do it and they told me my dog was not cooperating and tried to bite them. They can say what they want to say to avoid this free grooming, but when they charge you about $70-$90 for each grooming, everything was good with my dog. That is how they treat their customers. Will never walk into any Petco store again!

I had been sent a 5 dollar coupon by email I loaded it to my rewards and was not able to use the 5 off yet again so I will start buying my dogs food at lowes no use in going to petco anymore since everytime I have a five dollar off they don't honor it I am done with petco

The clerks were very nice and polite. I didn't need help this time til the check out. But I did she a girl helping a woman with her stuff. She was very nice when answering her questions. The cashier helped me take litter to my car. Store was clean. Wheelchair friendly aisles. Had a nice selection of cat toys.

Always nice , they make sure they help you . i used to go to the one up by ross but they arent very nice and they dont help . so i been going here since . love the workers for sure .. Help me pick this little guy out :)

Why do i alsways have to compare prices when i go into your store. Most times the store is robbing the working class.Also why do i have to pay .19 for a bag when i just spent iver 100$ at your brick and mortar store.

I made a physical visit to the store on 1/27 with 3 photos of a fish tank filter my mother, who lives 40 minutes away, needed. Thank goodness she didn't make the trip and I live closer to help her. I asked an employee for assistance finding the filters. He roamed an aisle with some boxes of filters for less than 30 seconds and told me look online to order them. I went home, discussed via phone with my Mom, found the filter needed, ordered it for pickup and within 10 minutes had an email the order was ready for pickup. Seriously, your employee couldn't even assist me, and the item was there in stock!!! So then I had to make another trip to the store for pickup and the kid at the register let the order computer run out of battery and fumbled around trying to get it up and running. Another employee showed up, asked my name, and pulled the box from the shelf. And these wastes of employees think they deserve $15/hr jobs? For what? They can't even assist the people who come in to the store!!!!!!

Just finished a trip here a few moments ago and I can easily say it was a very pleasant experience, ESPECIALLY in comparison to other Petco locations I've been too (i.e the Falcon Ln. and State College location)Usually takes a while to find an associate to help us, and sometimes they aren't that thrilled to have to do so, but this store had staff in every department ready to help.Aquatic plants were lush, and healthy. Aquariums were clean, with no dead fish present... Can't say the same about the aforementioned locations.Amber was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. In all my years of owning fish I've NEVER had someone offer me a test tube to take home for water samples, offer to separate fish in different bags due to behavioral differences, genuinely seem to have an appreciation for the animals, nor automatically assume I don't know how to care for fish lolJust overall a really pleasant trip.

We just got 2 puppies and took them in to get collars and a few other things. We also got a couple things for our turtles. Everything we needed was found very easily and the store was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful also.

This is the better location of the 2 in Altoona. Because it's tucked away and people forget about it, the store is often less crowded. It also has a much better supply and selection of items. They have a friendly staff and offer all the same services as the larger store in Logan Towne Center.

I went in after working all day and there were only 2 staff members- a manager and a worker. The worker helped me so much in knowledge- assistance- and understanding. She was great!!

Friendly staff & preform the duties at basic level. However, over the new year, they raised the price of a simple nail trim to $22 per dog. It used to be $10-$12 a month ago! Absolutely insane. I just went to a local small shop & paid $5. Corporates are definitely money hungry as the years go on!
