Rescued a puppy from Craigslist and saw worms all through his poop a few hours later. Vets were closed so I called this store in a panic. They had OTC dewormers and the staff were so SO helpful in choosing a product, along with food, treats, etc. They didn't have a scale to weigh him and directed us to PetCo down the road who has one. Love the Earth Animal No Hide Dog Stix. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I continue to shop here instead of the larger retailers.

I love this store! My small chihuahua, Cricket, was a VERY picky eater and I had to cook him different varieties of meats EVERY NIGHT to mix in with his dog food to get him to eat and even THEN, alot of times he would still not eat! When going to Pet Valu, the owner will always throw me these different samples of freeze-dried food in the bag with my purchase. My dog LOVES it mixed with his food. He licks his plate clean twice a day! And they explained to me all the different ways I could serve it to him. I go there for all my furry-child shopping needs and they are so patient and knowledgeable. I recommend Pet Valu to all my friends! They may be a little pricy compared to the "super chain" stores, but their products and staff have never let me down!

You have wonderful employers that work there and they know the place and products very well. The prices are very comparable to others and they even have a section on one side to be able to bathe your dog yourself, or they also have a groomer there on staff also. Great job everyone..

They have very nice people and especially low prices. Around 10 for a bath and around 6 dollars for a toy I haven't checked out the other things prices but they seem to be really low. They have a lot of space and room in the store. they have water fountains and treats and sales going on now. When you go there to bath your dog they provide everything for you besides a brush and if you need help on how to work or where something is then the workers are very kind and will show you. But they give you a run through on how to work things anyways. The tubs look very fancy and there are steps for the dog to climb and leashes to hold the dog in place. But you dont have to use it. I would definitely go again. Washing your dog is a hassle but they make it fun

Your greeted as soon as you enter the store. Need help, no problem. They will assist you for as long as needed. I have never been disappointed. Large selection and and variety of pet clothing and food. Very clean shop.

Very nice people working there. Very helful finding things. Groomer that was working answered questions about my older dog that requires a gentle touch. Told me how to get the mats out of her fur.

Great prices and friendly staff. This location is smaller but still have a good selection of items and even carries a fair amount of pets supplies for animals other than just dogs or cats.

First time being in there the guy who id say was manager was very nice helped me find what I needed for my sons new pet her found in the yard lol. Smells nice looks nice and very welcoming when you walk in. I will be back thank you.

I always buy my blue Buffalo cat food at Pet Valu because it's cheaper then Petco. Plus they have a Blue Buffalo rewards program with every 11 or 12 bags you buy you get one free. Just better deal. Plus Aerial the groomer is AMAZING with my Pheobe.

Not going back didbt rlly great the dogs and when mine and another dog started to bark she freaked out and automatically grabed my pit by her collar and not my border collie min pin mix who was closer to other persons dog *both of my dogs are dog cat ppl friendly of all ages* she also yelled at my dogs when I was trying to get them to calm down and correct them
