I've been going to both the garage and hardware shop all my life, and not once have I been lied to, buttered up, or slapped with extra BS. The garage prices are super SUPER fair and the hardware store is full of not just its namesake but also outdoorsy stuff (fishing and hunting gear, camping gear, summer accessories) and they even have a daily fresh baked treat for sale! (which are delicious, even the adventurous flavors!)Do swing by if you need anything. You'll save money compared to big labels, and feel better about the experience too.

My family has used Mallow's Hardware for over 40 years. You will always find what you are looking for and the store sits in a residential area.If caught without the necessary tool, screw, paint brush, etc. when tackling a home improvement job, Mallow's is a short ride to your solution. These people are a Ma and Pa family run operation. They go to the extreme to give that old time personalized service that is rare these days. Prices are great and the family is awesome. Always a smile on their faces.Altoona residences especially need to support family run businesses. I would recommend them highly!RFC, a local Altoona resident!
