I had an amazing checkout and return experience on 4/23 around 4:45pm thanks to employee #27049 (according to the receipt)- a young male associate with blonde/light brown hair, a blonde beard, and a forearm tattoo (I’m so sorry that I didn’t get his name!). He was so professional and kind even though we had returns and stuff to buy. I know retail is extremely stressful and he was just so wonderful at his job. Thank you so much to this amazing employee!

Shopped at the store and they finally had their mens clothes section in decent looking shape. I shop here alot and I found 3 pairs of nike shorts sized 4xl (all the same short) except different colored. (one black, one white, one blue. The black were red priced $22. The blue $12 and the white $25. So I took the 2 cheaper ones to the counter and asked why they would be different? The cashier said he didn't know and when the merch team has no hard tag they will put stickers right on the clothes (the blue pair for $12 qnd had no hard tag..just on the wasit band). So I told them if all were $12 I'd take them all of course but if but if not I'd still take the 2 and my other items. A young lady who was working in mens came for a price check and said we may have to ring them all at $22. And I asked why wouldn't you just honor the tag? I didn't switch them. and the cashier saif.."yea we should just honor the tag". so they called for "Donna" I'm assuming a manager on duty who came to about the front entrance and the woman working in mens clothes told her to stay there and went there and had a private conversation out of earshot with her. I was not introduced or acknowledged by this woman at all since she did not come over. And then the woman came back and said yes we have to do them both at $22. And I told them what I thought of that customer serivce and asked why they won't just honor the price and she said "this is what I was told" and I told them they could keep everything. While admittedly I was trying to see if all would be $12 I was also addressing the fact that they were all different prices and letting them know of the error at the same time having worked retail myself. I did not switch the tags..or change any prices. The ironic thing is if I kept my mouth shut I would have gotten them all at the price marked on the tag....this store should have honored at least the price on the tag which I was prepared to spend the money on but to be charged more is ridiculous. they can keep their items. I'm not an entitled person nor a "Karen" but when something is wrong, it's wrong. Any decent manager knows you don't do that to any customer when the fault is clearly on the store level.

There was more Large and XL in the big and tall section than any other sizes. Nothing came close to the size I needed to buy. I've been coming here for years but every time I come back the big and tall section is disappointing, and insulting.

Wow we were there early in the fall and left.Clothrs were piled on the floor everything was messy and unorganized we left within minutes,We were shocked when we went back organized ,clean well stocked and prices were reasonable wonderful inprovement.We will add Gabes as our shopping stop.

Super friendly cashiers. Lots of clothes! Big selection of shoes in various styles and sizes. Some seasonal outdoor decor and pool supplies and gardening items. Beautiful items like wall hangings and pictures and sconces in the home section. Inexpensive clothing staples and seasonal fashion items. Small jewelry section and virtually nothing by way of fragrances. Wet brushes and hair clips are only $4. Many items under $5 to be found throughout the whole store. Good variety here for the opening. Excited to see what will become available for fall and as the season changes. Easy to sign up for rewards at register and there's an app available. Get a $5 credit once completing requirements.

I know Gabe's aren't perfectly organized, and maybe it was from back to school shopping but the place was terribly disorganized. I've never been in one so sloppy, and jam packed.The employees were friendly and helpful. The lines were long, but again, school shopping. Great selection, and prices. But go with time to dig!

When me and my friends went there, there was a bunch of wasps on the clothes and shoes there. One of the wasps flew into my friends hair and stung him. Gabe’s has a wasp problem they need to get it under control or open up a bee keeping buisness.

Gabe was nowhere to be found during my shopping extravaganza. I found some tee shirts and there was a wide variety of knock off colognes. The prices are below the national average, but will they hold up when I wash them in the creek and scrub them on rocks? I'll keep ya all updated.

It's a nice store. You never know what you're going to find. Their prices are always reasonable. It's kind of a substitute for KMart.

You know what to expect at Gabe's. Crowded aisles and lots of merchandise to choose from. Prices usually run cheaper than your average retail store. If you look you can find the deals.

Went in here to help my wife to find a pear of shoes for my son for school I ask this one employee for help and she yells at me and my oldest daughter so I ask for a manger loud be hold it was the manger that yell at us for no reason I told what she did and she acted like none thing happen at all will be calling the head office tomorrow.

We went to find clothes for my 10 year old for school. Unfortunately a good bit of the shirts they had was not school appropriate. The shirts were nice but not acceptable for 5th grade. Although we were able to get pants, shorts, socks, a bookbag, and a few school supplies off his list for great prices. They have very nice things for rather cheap. Overall the experience was great.

Messy aisles compared to State College store. Friendly staff, mgr, Donna. Way under staffed to assist so many guests and zone so many areas. Possibly market mgr limiting hrs., should reflect to one self.
