Dollar General is the worst, dont shop here ever, ive been injured and almost had boxes fall on me trying to get to merchandise and then to have them upset that i bought stuff. So they put up signs. You are not allowed to buy stuff at dollar general. It's been like this for months!!!!!

Excellent Manager! The employees have always go above and beyond to assist with finding products for the customer's! Cleanest Dollar General,stocked shelves,and boxes are never seen in isles blocking products first Dollar general that is taken care of the best!

I live very close to the 13th street Dollar General...I am very disappointed with this store because the shelves are never ,stocked, are boxes all through the aisles..and being handicapped,it's very hard to walk. This store (13th street) Never has items that are needed often. HOWEVER..I have found the VERY BEST DOLLAR GENERAL IN ALTOONA!! The store at 3229 6th Ave. Was absolutely Fantastic!!.and believe me, I went to 3 Dollar Generals before trying this one. The shelves are stocked full,and there is nothing blocking your way in the aisles. The store is CLEAN..and it was actually enjoyable to walk through the aisles and shop.I honestly cant let a review without telling you how well treated we felt by the employees!!! I really wish I could tell you their names, but I had a very large order, and was flustered . The checkout Young woman could not have been more respectful. She offered me a mask because I somehow lost mine in the store. She was wonderful!! There also was a young man working, and I got a wrong item, and he offered to take it back,and bring me the one I wanted. I ended up with 53 items,and came very close to $200 on my receipt. I recommend EVERYONE who is disgusted with Dollar General to go to this one,and you will be VERY HAPPY you did. We started at the new store in GREENWOOD- it looked like a bomb had gone off..bare shelves, and workers were standing at the register complaining very loudly that no one is doing their job ..3 of them....someone could have done something.DOLLAR GENERAL STORE #212363229 6TH AVE (in the little plaza past Reighards gas station)I will not go to any other store now that I have discovered this one. Go one time, and you will see how great this really is.

There is another Dollar General store that is closer to my home but I prefer to shop here. The store is always clean and the employees are always very courteous even when they are dealing with some very impatient people. I will always shop here.
