Although this store has decent deals at a affordable price the appearance of this store is what gives it a one star. The shelves are covered in dust the floors appear to have not been swept in a long time as there are cob webs attached to the floor from the bottom shelves and the bathrooms are on my top 10 worst public restrooms that I have ever entered. Staff seems to be very thin and not sociable by any means I would not recommend nor encourage anyone to visit this location.

I understand that this is not a fancy store, but the filth is this particular location is horrible. The floors haven’t been swept in weeks. The restrooms are some of the worst I have ever seen, I turned around and left without using them.

We went to go get some brushes for painting. Corner brush was .97, and small roller .97, and small paint brush .97. Good products for good prices. Needed a corner brush lucky to get the last one, and hoping small paint brush gets in the small spots that my other paint brush couldn't get.

Big Lots has just gone downhill since it opened. I used to enjoy going there to see what different and unique things they'd have. Now it's just an overpriced mismatched dept store. There wasn't any good values. Selection really stunk. This Altoona location always appears half empty. Really not worth a visit unless you're already in the plaza for something else.

Doesn't deliver furniture direct from store, only through the warehouse. Wanted a couch loveseat but even online they wouldn't deliver the love seat. Makes Zero sense. Just go with someone else, save yourselves the hassle.

This location has very good workers and great customer service they make sure you leave happy and could find everything you was looking for. The only thing is that it could use some remodeling especially the floors. Overall a great place and I recommend.

Empty shelves, and the shelves that are full are either unorganized or have damaged products. That and there's only two people in the whole store working, who happen to seem unhappy to work here. That oughta tell you something about not only the condition of the store, but how the employees are treated.

I am a avid Big lots shopper. I am a member of there rewards program. I just purchased brand new furniture from there. However the service was very poor Tonight. The cashier was very rude and inappropriate. I have not experienced service this poor before. It's a shame.

Love to shop there, they have good prices and constantly getting new items in, they are currently upgrading and is changing it around in there often, I love their makeup and they have great deals always going on, and now starting to get a big clothing section.

I Love Big Lots! I spend a lot of money at big lots! The lady at the register the last 2 times I was at the store is very rude! I mean, it's not my fault your working at BL. BUT, IT'S YOUR JOB to treat me respectfully. No matter what is going on in your personal life, or anything else. Of course I could spend my money elsewhere, but I probably spend more than you make, so which one of us needs to go? Or just get a attitude adjustment, that'll work, yes, that'll do it. Good day.
