I visited on a Sunday afternoon an hour before close, so plenty of time left to stop in. Upon entering, all three employees looked at me and my two guests with reactions that looked more like we were coming in at ten minutes to close. No greeting, no smiles, no welcomes. It was awkward. We tried to avocado tomato toast, chicken salad sandwhich, kids grilled cheese, coffee and pressed juices. Everything was fresh, clean and tasty. Prepared and presented well. I definitely recommend a visit for food, drinks and whimsy atmosphere. But I, honestly, will probably never go back cause I didn't care for the offputting vibe from the staff. The cashier (older woman, pretty nice) asked a coworker for help when ringing in our order and he (tall guy, baseball cap) answered her with a tone of disgust and frustration. I didn't like that. It's disappointing because I was hoping we would become regulars here but most likely not. You never know the impression you are giving off to your customers so maybe think of that next time.

An outstanding café that offers delicious coffee and food in addition to a cozy atmosphere in proximity to Hartwood Acres Park. They have a large selection of organic items and many of them are locally sourced. The owners and their staff are all friendly in addition to welcoming. I often stop here after hiking or trail running at nearby Hartwood Acres Park. I highly recommend this café along with the adjoining artisan shop that's under the same ownership.

I always love a small local coffee shop and this has become a new favorite close to home. I've stopped in several times the past few weeks for a coffee and a pastry while I work, and everything is delicious and prepared with care (tip: get your cinnamon roll heated!). It gets pretty full and a bit noisy in the mornings -- so you may want headphones if you need to focus -- but this is mostly because so many customers seem to meet up there regularly for lively, joyful conversations. I usually stay and enjoy the buzz around me until I see people lingering without a place to sit. I can't wait to enjoy my AM caffeine on the porch once the weather gets a little warmer.Kid-friendliness: They have a Lego table and chalkboard for little ones.

So worth the trip to this off-the-beaten path cafe! Their amazing coffee and pastries are every bit as good or better than the coffee chain that begins and ends with the letter S. A group of us met there Sunday morning and sat in the back room. A fun and cozy cafe atmosphere. Nice music too!

Just experienced their new catering service and was very impressed! The ordering and pickup was quick and easy and they made recommendations to accommodate all of our staff's food restrictions. The portions were well calculated, the price was reasonable, the presentation was great, and they included everything we needed. Most importantly the food was delicious! I'm not a vegan but I went back for seconds of the vegan chickpea salad and somehow the fruit salad had great variety, flavor, and texture in early March. We also enjoyed the chicken salad, healthy grain salad, and a green salad with dressings. We'll definitely be ordering again in the future!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, & gluten free options.Parking: Plenty of easy parking.

Stopped in for a quick juice and bite while in Pittsburgh. Just 4 dudes enjoying their morning and making some killer fresh juices and pastries! I enjoyed the Garfield juice and the cinnamon coffee cake. Would be a regular if I was from the area. The vibe made me happy— great start to my morning!Kid-friendliness: Cute little kiddie area in the back with books and toys!

This place is a gem! A local family owned cafe with something for everyone. My favorite is their green juice and when I'm misbehaving it's the cinnamon roll which is huge could easily be shared. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, I love the vibe of this place. Highly recommend!

Local cafe that I go to weekly for my CSA pick up. Unfortunately, every time they visit, half of their drink menu is unavailable due to one issue or another with ingredient supply. For example, lack of bananas meant no smoothies. Asked about juice and said they were cleaning up (1.5 hours before posted closing time?).The non-owner staff are curt and not the greatest with customer service. The owner, however, is lovely. With some small improvements, this place could be great.

I went there today because I had a gift card. I went in with my three boys, who in attempt to order their food were not even acknowledged by the staff. They had head banging music on which amped up my little ones. After having to repeat my order 3 times, the girl at the counter, who's face was astonished that children exists, finally gave us our treats. Then a lady asked me to ask my son to stop banging on something, which I didn't even realize was happening. If the lady could have taken my order the first time we said what we wanted l I could have been out of there 5 mins ago. I was so focused on just figuring out how to complete the transaction and leave this bewildering situation that I didn’t even notice. Honestly if someone was treating me the way these people were treating my children I would have been banging on something too! Apparently children aren't humans and can't be spoken to directly or respectfully at this establishment. If you go there don't bring children. Everything we purchased was either stale or sickeningly sweet. I didn't get the coffee, so maybe that is worth the horribly awkward and incompetent service. I will not know because I will never go there again.

Love having a place like Three Little Birds nearby to get a quick, delicious snack or lunch while on the go! Owners and staff are always very friendly and I haven’t had anything there I didn’t like! Calm and relaxing atmosphere and while you’re there, stop into So Me for some unique artisan-made items. Such a gem for our area!

There are only 3 1/2 tables, a large portion of the floor is used up by displays, you have to rent "the loft" for $45 per hour, not enough seating, the workers didn't give me a receipt, seemed cold, and didn't give me my muffin until I asked for it. There's no where to put your dishes when you're done and the atmosphere is just standoffish. Severely overpriced. Go somewhere else. Literally anywhere else.Parking: There's a parking lot but it's not great.

Cherry rolls were very underbaked and doughy while the coffee was mediocre. Great location near hardwood and wonderful people but a subpar food offering.3/6 update: I went again, it was was worse. The smoothies are flavorless, quiche needs salt and flavor of any kind. I thought maybe the first time we went to as just a one off bad experience. Nope, avoid this place.

Three Little Birds has not only the best smoothies but also the best vibe! This coffee shop and juice bar is so cute - I love the big front porch for sitting and sipping. And for those gluten-free friends, they have lots of accommodating menu choices.

My husband drove past this cafe twice because we did not see a sign for “Three Little Birds Cafe” on the side of the building. The cafe is located inside the white building that is right near the intersection. Parking spaces are available outside. Tables are available inside and outside. The menu lists a variety of hot and cold drinks as well as foods such as muffins and sandwiches. You can order food and drinks in advance on their website, although you could probably just show up and not have to wait long, even on a Saturday morning like me. My favorite menu items so far are the “Brains and Beauty” fresh-press juice and the Classic BLT sandwich. Please note that I do not think that the restaurant is currently open on Mondays or in the evenings.

Cozy place, kids friendly (books, table, chalks, a bit of toys), decent food (small selection though) and good coffee. Very nice overall!
