Steve has been attending my school's Arts Day for years. He does an amazing presentation for my fifth and sixth grade students showing them all kinds of cool things with the violin, especially his electric violin. He plays tons of pop songs that the kids know too and every new group of kids always loves getting to see him. He's the best!

Our guest feel in love with Steven playing the violin at our wedding ceremony and at cocktail hour. It was the perfect elegant touch and our guest never wanted cocktail hour to end as they sat by the fireplace and listened to him play. My wedding was February 10th and we went through Steve Vance entertainment and got the electric violin and dj package. Steve Vance and Susan were very helpful and responsive getting my date placed and setting me up with the violinist and dj. Michele George is an amazing violinist! She absolutely did an amazing job at playing the songs i picked out for everything. I heard her play at the IX center for a wedding expo and that’s when i knew i had to have her at my wedding! Dj Rey nailed everything! He was very responsive to all my requests and made it happen. He kept the whole night flowing smoothly and he kept the dance floor busy. He was definitely the dj I was hoping to get! I would absolutely recommend Steve Vance entertainment, Michele and Dj Rey to anyone! ❤️💃🎻

Steven Vance is a one of a kind experience at your event! While helping my little sister plan her wedding we attended a Todays Bride expo and we were mesmerized listening to Steven play his electric violin. It was just the right mix of new pop with a bit of classic older stuff to make you smile and sway along. You couldn’t help it. I immediately knew we had to book him! Steven was more than accommodating and helpful with the planning process. He was insightful, helpful and willing when it came to song choices and how the ceremony and reception would run. We booked him for the ceremony, cocktail hour and then he was the MC/DJ for the rest of the night. All that work with a smile on his face. You can tell he loves what he does! All of the guests had such a great time and we got so many compliments on having the electric violin, it was a great addition to the day. Highly recommend Steven! Thank you so much!

Highly recommend! We had Steve Vance on the electric violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was great! He played the perfect mix of music for ambiance and even provided suggestions weeks prior to the wedding when we were a bit stuck. DJ Mike Greca was just awesome!! He kept everything moving according to the plan and helped us stay on on schedule! Also, the music was absolutely fantastic!!! I’ve never seen a more continuously packed dance floor! Steven Vance DJed our July 2023 wedding at Succop Nature Park and did an amazing job. We had some weirdly specific requests and he fit the music to the vibe of our wedding day perfectly. Spectacular job with our wedding at Bella Sera! Joey M was our violinist and our DJ. The ceremony music was beautiful and exactly how I always imagined it. DJ Joe kept the night moving seamlessly and there was not one single awkward moment or pause. We are very lucky because I wanted a violinist for our ceremony followed by a DJ for cocktail hour/reception. Steven Vance was able to accommodate both!Starting with our violinist, she had an encyclopedia of popular songs for our choosing. She reached out to us 2 weeks before the wedding confirming our song choices to make sure everything went according to our plan. The violin absolutely enhanced the ceremony to another level.Our DJ was also very accommodating for our song selections. We sent him over a list of Spotify playlists for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to help them get a feel of the vibes we were trying to establish. They also did a good job of curating other songs to fit within our vibe. He was also good on time management when specific events needed to take place such as the grand entrance, speeches, first dance, etc.Overall, we are very happy with Steven Vance Entertainment and would recommend this type of combination.

My husband and I knew we wanted “something unique and special” incorporated into our wedding and Steven Vance and his Pop Rock Electric Violin performance was just that and more!The week of our wedding I let Steven know we needed a VERY specific version of a song played for our first dance because we were surprising our guests with a choreographed dance and he played it spot on! Our guests are still raving about his performance during our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. If you want your guests, months later, still talking about how awesome your wedding was book Steven Vance ASAP!We had DJ Nacho who we also booked through Steven Vance Entertainment provide DJ services during our reception (this was a wonderful and convenient feature to have both performers booked through one company). He kept the party going and all of our guests out on the dance floor! We had a unique bridal party entrance that went to the starting lineup of the Chicago Bulls and DJ Nacho outdid himself with the script we gave him!Both Steven Vance and DJ Nacho were extremely professional, great entertainers, and executed our requests flawlessly. We loved working with Steven Vance for our wedding in August 2022. He was our DJ, but he also served as MC and provided entertainment on the electric violin during cocktail hour. Prior to our wedding day we met directly with Steven to go through our timeline so that everyone was on the same page. He also had us complete a form which included a play list / do not play list which was comforting for us as we’d been to many weddings where DJs play music that is not wedding appropriate. We were especially pleased with his MC services as he knew how to control the crowd and alert people of different events happening throughout the evening. He especially knew what to play to keep guests on the dance floor and having a great time! Steven had a lot of experience and it showed through in all phases of the services he provided. I booked a violinist through Steven Vance for my wedding ceremony. Juan was the violinist assigned to me and he was so incredibly talented! It was my dream to have a violinist at my wedding and he blew it out of the park. He was responsive and understanding, and even took time to learn new songs with my pianist. Highly recommended!!

We hired Steven Vance Entertainment for our wedding this past Spring. Although Steven was not available on our day, he and his staff were responsive to our emails and worked with us to find a DJ that suited our needs. DJ Mike served as the DJ for both our ceremony and reception. He was courteous, made an effort to pronounce our names correctly (half of the wedding party was Chinese American) and for the most part played what we had requested. He was also able to work with us despite there being a drizzle/rain at our outdoor ceremony. Unfortunately, he played the wrong song for our recessional, despite our reviewing it with him beforehand and sending over the planning sheet that was provided by Steven Vance. He played one of the postlude pieces instead (which we had considered for the recessional but was not our first choice). We also felt that the grand entrance could have been handled better, as we had wanted to have the party enter one by one, but he called them out as couples. To be fair, this was not discussed beforehand and probably should have been. Overall, we had a great wedding and these small hiccups did not interfere with our enjoyment of the day or the music. We do feel that the quality of DJs working under Steven Vance may be variable and want others to be aware. We were surprised that our DJ only received 50% of our total payment with the rest going to the company.

He was very accommodating by bringing his own keyboard to the ceremony since the cocktail hour piano was not able to be moved at our venue. He also mastered the music we requested and even provided us with a demo of the song my wife walked down the aisle to. He was very pleasant to work with and we are thankful to have had him on our wedding day.

The music was SPECTACULAR. We had Charles play the violin during the ceremony/cocktail hour. It was perfect along with the gorgeous outdoor weather/setting and just elevated the whole evening. We truly appreciated his craft and care, especially as he learned a new song for my dad and I. It meant so much and made the day the even more special.We also booked the DJ, we had Matt. Matt called us the week before and went over every single detail. Throughout the night he continued to check in with me (the bride) to ensure everything was running smoothly and to our liking.
