Buddy and I love Golden Wood! The luxury suites are perfect for my long legged boy! The employees treat Buddy like he's one of their own! He comes home smelling just the way he did when I dropped him off, no stinky kennel smell. I highly recommend Golden Wood Aliquippa.

Golden Wood Aliquippa has a great facility. All dogs are welcome and is given respect and well cared for. Our Bella was just a pup when she began her stays with Golden Wood. They will make sure if your pet needs medication or special needs with no doubts their needs will be met. While it is hard to leave your pet for a longer amount of time Golden Wood knows how important it is that your pet receives the utmost care while you're away! We are excited to see what the up and coming renovations will look like for our pet's next stay. The staff is friendly and loving which gives the facility a 5 star rating. A very happy customer with a happy fur baby.

This was the first time we needed to board our 8 year old, 9 lb. terrier mix, who can be nervous and overwhelmed by other dogs. We were impressed by how Golden Wood accommodated Echo's needs to help her feel comfortable, which gave us peace of mind as pet owners! We highly recommend Golden Wood and would definitely go back the next time we need to board our pet.

Luca is a rescue dog and was in a shelter for 5.months before being rescued.. I was apprehensive about leaving him in a kennel due to his anxiety, but the staff at Golden Wood were great with him. I highly recommend them for your pet!

We recently have had to board our dog for the first time because we now both travel for work, a lot. Goldenwood is 5 minutes from our house, which is amazing, but even if it were an hour we would still board here. We were worried about our boy his first time (he was a shelter dog very recently), we called to check on him and we were told he is still smiling and he looked happy and was excited when he saw and interacted with the staff. Online booking is awesome and super easy, the staff is so friendly and I love the add ons! We get him a peanut butter Kong every time, and we're so excited for swimming season so he can do his favorite thing while we're away. Also they wash his blankets, which is so very helpful. We highly recommend Goldenwood Aliquippa.

Pleasently surprised by this kennel,very nice and worked with me in an emergency hospital admission (mine) My dog are white and came back to me white and nontraumatized . I would not hesitate to use again unlike an experience I had with another kennel several years ago.

My boys, Rocco and Bruzer, love Anne and her staff! They don’t even say goodbye to me when I drop them off! They love their playtime with the ladies, especially Bruzer who is quite the affectionate one. The staff is attentive and kind to my sometimes over active Labradors! My boys come home clean from a day at the spa before pick up and happy from extra treats from Anne. I never worry while they are there. I know they are in the care of people who love them.

Puppy Panda had her first grooming adventure and she loved it. Well, almost. She wasn't thrilled about the blow dryer. That was a totally new experience for her. Fortunately the groomer helped her through the scary stuff. Everyone at Golden Wood is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Panda says she will be returning. The pup really liked her birthday ice cream that she got as takeout.

Fantastic experience! We have been looking for a groomer in the area for a year. We found Golden wood and definitely will be returning customers. They groomed our Keeshond perfectly, and gave us a tour of their facility, if we ever needed to have him stay. The staff was super friendly and sweet. Highly recommend!

Our dogs absolutely love Golden Wood Aliquippa. We leave them there at times for extended stays up to about 2 weeks. The staff is wonderful and Momo and Shyla are happy to stay with them. Additionally, their prices are the best we have found!

Our niece recommended Golden Wood when we moved to PA from Maryland and we've been very very happy with the services and care they've provided to our treeing walker coonhound Willow (who "talks" a lot). We love this place!! We started coming here a handful of months ago to have my daughters very hairy dog groomed and back on a schedule. The groomer did a great job and the prices are very reasonable! After taking the dog a few times we were told the groomer had to take a leave for a period of time and they were not sure when she would return and that they were looking for another groomer. They took my number down and said they would call when they found someone (I did not expect a call). Sure enough, they called to schedule an appointment a monthish later and it was with their location closer to my home….BONUS!! The new groomer is just as good….very pleased with the service we have received!We haven’t taken advantage of the boarding as of yet but I did check out the pricing and that too is very reasonable. You also have a menu that you can choose from to give your dog extras during their stay.We will continue to come here as long as they are open!

She is very professional, and takes great care of our pup, as well as really takes the time to understand what we’re looking to accomplish before each appointment. Finley, my dog is anxious about being groomed , but Jamie won him over. I use golden wood as my kennel, so he thought I was going to go away on a trip. Once he understands he won’t be staying long, I think he and Jamie will be best friends. Great job, Jamie!!

My experience with my puppies first grooming was very disappointing! When we arrived the groomer thought my puppy was an “old man” which meant she hadn’t looked over any of the information that I had provided. I told her her was only 8 months old but as we were leaving she said he did well for an 18 month old puppy. So she obviously want listening. We asked for a trim. When we arrived to pick up Max he was shaved from head to toe. I understand he has some matting around his neck area but I was able to comb that out in a few minutes. I am very disappointed and will never go back or recommend to anyone. I did call to complain the day after the grooming but never heard back from anyone. A phone call during grooming to explain or a phone call after I complained would have been professional!!! Please be careful if you use this grooming service.

This was our first time ever leaving our dog at a doggie lodge and I have to say that I’m glad we choose Golden Wood! Our dog was comfortable, treated very well, eating schedule was kept, nature walks and fun photos. Absolutely amazing! I’ll be using them from now!

This is the first time ever we have left our 7 year old rescued golden lab/husky mix anywhere but with family.Truly, I am very hard to please, and Golden Wood MORE THAN EXCEEDED any expectations I ever had of a "hotel" and "vacation" for our pup too!The staff is wonderful, the prices are more than fair, and to get our "baby" back groomed was well worth finding this "DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH" from an internet search.Should we need boarding in the furture, this staff is GREAT< FABULOUS<FRIENDLY<COMPETENT.I give Golden Wood a 10, and I generally do not give out these kind of reviews. I feel obligated to the great business in this location (Aliquippa)!!!!!!!!

Our usual kennel was all booked up for the week of our vacation, and we came across Golden Wood Online. Suffice to say, I think we found a new vacation spot for our pup Daruk.The staff was super kind, treated my family great, and took awesome care of our Daruk while we were away! The text updates with pictures were a fantastic touch, and really put me at ease, seeing his goofy smile each day!You can get "add-ons" per day too, so if your pet enjoys cooling off poolside, or chasing a laser pointer around, they can. We even spoiled our Dog with scrambled eggs each morning. These additions are really fairly priced, and made for a great stay!Daruk even had 24 hour access to gated outside, which was awesome! Next time we plan a get away, we will absolutely be choosing Golden Wood again. A Heart-felt Thank you to all the staff who watched over Rukie while we were away! We'll be seeing y'all again, real soon!

We were very pleased with Golden Wood. This was the first time our cats were boarded, aside from being at the Humane Society. When I picked them up, they were just like their chipper selves! Everyone at the kennel was pleasant and helped with all of my concerns and needs from the start to the end.

Jaimi did a FANTASTIC job grooming my dog. She looked absolutely gorgeous 😍. The facility is super clean, caretakers are extremely friendly. This was my first experience having boarding of my 3 furbabies here. I highly recommend. Thanks all. We'll be back!
