Absolutely unacceptable staffing at this Dollar General location! More often than not, there is only 1 employee trying to run the entire store - cashiering, stocking shelves, cleaning, you name it. Just one overworked and stressed out person attempting to do the jobs of 5+ people.The result is disastrous for both employees and customers. As an employee, it's an unsafe workload juggling so many roles in a large retail space with blind spots. But as a customer, the experience is downright miserable. You have to wait in excruciating lines that barely move because there's no backup cashiers. The store itself is a mess - empty shelves, products lying around, floors not cleaned.Clearly this location is being run on a disgracefully lean staffing model that prioritizes profit over all else. The employees are just bodies to exploit rather than value. And the customers are utterly disrespected, forced to endure third-rate service and conditions.The corporate leadership at Dollar General should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this inexcusable staffing situation to persist at this store and likely many others. They are taking advantage of the community and their own employees. I will be taking my business elsewhere until there is a serious course correction in how they choose to operate ethically.

My wife and I shop at various DOLLAR GENERAL stores and have to say that this store is the best one we ever shopped in! The isles are clear so you don't have to dodge stocking carts and such! Place is very clean and well managed! Staff is very friendly also! Kudos to all that work here! If you shop at this store you will never go back to the over crowded messes( LIKE THE ONE ON BRODHEAD ROAD IN HOPEWELL ) AGAIN!! Do yourself a favor and shop here!

I go to this store only when I absolutely have to and occasionally when there is particularly something on sale.Pro: They have a good selection of products at a reasonable price, which is a plus and the employees are generally nice with a few exceptions.Con: The floors are filthy every time I have gone in there and I'm fairly certain that it hasn't seen a mop in several years. The store is severely understaffed and most of the time there will be only one cashier ringing and one employee stocking. Expect long lines most of the time.

All your stores look dirty. You can't fit down the aisles to even find items needed. Carts are always outside, and I have never send them being cleaned. With Covid-19 you could at least provide clorox whips. This is not only from a shopping view. I worked for you at the beginning of the virus. I was these only employee in the store that whipped them down, and I had to purchase the cleaning products to do it, I was hoping it would be temporary that as soon as you got the necessary cleaning supplies in, that the company would provide sanitary stations for customer use. I set up one myself, that I purchased everything for and district manager told me to take it down, company didn't allow it. It shouldn't have surprised me, I was there prior to this for months, not once was the floors cleaned or any other surface. I just put in a two week notice after I seen how you valued your customers and employees lives with the on going virus. 9 months since the virus started, and you still are not sanitizing or have a sanitizing station set up for customers. I made the right decision

Employees are super friendly, and that's the reason for any stars at all. The store is disorganized. I'm not sure who designed the layout/product placement, but it needs revamped. Also, you stand in line to check out forever. You never make a quick trip there. Even if you shop quickly, you'll be there quite awhile. To be fair, that aspect is not specific to this location. The one in Hopewell is much the same: one checkout lane open, slowwww-moving line. Multiple closed checkout lanes cluttered with displays and NEVER used.

I shop at this particular Dollar Tree on a very regular basis--sometimes even two or three day in the same week, depending on what I need that week. The staff is really friendly and personable and the ones who have been there the longest know me and my children by face. They always speak when we come in.The only reason I don't give a full five star rating is because one of the managers was supposed to exchange an expensive spray deodorant that broke a few days after I bought it and he is NEVER there working whenever I come in, so I have not yet been able to receive my exchange (because none of the other employees will approve it) and it has been well over a couple of MONTHS!Other than that, I have had mostly nothing but positive experiences shopping at this particular Dollar General store.

It was a great experience, great employees that not only fast served everyone but also was happy, and willing to actually converse with those who chose to do so.. such as I hahahaha. We laughed and had a good time all with smiles and good service. 👍😎👍 Two thumbs way up with a big ole smile.

The stores dirty. They had a water I wanted that's the oy reason I went there.The one by my house in hopewell is so much nicer. They need to clean this one up. The employees are nice here but the stores something to be desired.

Have had several issues with digital coupons , manager said since I had problems and didn’t get my coupons redeemed he would mail a gift card to me. It’s now been over a month no phone call no gift card. I contacted store twice regarding the issue and got no response . Guess my business isn’t important!!

Overall it is a great store. It is one of the bigger ones that I have ever been in. I like that. It was a lot more choices to shop from. Usually every time I go into this Dollar General they have everything that I need and as always they are reasonably priced

This store is recovered and clean. Associates are very friendly. Truck most of the time is put away and not blocking the aisles.

Due to lack of Employees, the store is never open. When store is open they NEVER have what you need. I'll travel 2 more minutes up the road to Family Dollar.. Not worth the stop or the disappointment!

Unsatisfactory, cashier wouldn't sell me a cel phone clearly marked, my roomate bought one the night before, but she wanted me to pay full price 64$ instead of clearly marked sale price of 24.99$.

Prices are not really a dollar per item. There were kids outside of the doors of store asking for money. Store was not very organized at all.
