I ran here to grab some screws and washers cuz I ran out of a project that I was completing. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and then I went over to the screw section and as soon as the employee saw me looking he came over and offered me assistance, found what I was looking for and I was out the door. I really appreciated his help they're always good there with customer service and that's one thing you don't get it at home Depot or Lowe's!

It's definitely not the place it used to be. Seems most of the guys working there have an attitude issue when asked a question or if they have a product in stock, especially in the power equipment department. And, they do not seem to have quite the selection of products they used to carry. The young ladies working there and cashiers are friendly and helpful, though. Seems I'm reminded why I no longer patronize this store as often as I used to every time I stop here now. Used to be in this store a lot with my Grandpa and Dad, definitely not the store it used to be, unfortunately.

C & I Is the best. Stacy that works there and answers the phone is the best. We had a riding craftsman mower I purchased a year ago from Lowes had problems with lowes work on mower didn’t know what they was doing and blew it up. Stacy from C & I told lowes they are @ fault didn’t fix mower blew it up and they are responsible to replace mower or refund my purchase price. Thank You C&I (Stacy) you are the best. I will only deal with C&I for now on.

The woman with the accent is one of the rudest clerks at the service desk. This is not the 1st incident with her. But today I called to ask about a product and was put on hold. When she returned I didn't understand what she said and asked her to repeat it. She then hung up on me. I will be documenting every incident from this store from now on. Before I let things slide. I've also been treated rudely by the manager in the meat department.

This place sucks! Mom and pop shop hungry for money! Sometime ago I was making a return with receipt. I was told that I was not allowed in the store anymore because I make too many returns!!!LOL Home Depot is where I like to spend my money, I can make as many returns as I want, the customer service is decent, and they have a wide variety. That’s bad business to tell someone they are not allowed back into your store simply for making returns. Piss poor mom and pop shop starving for money. I’m sure they have a decent business but obviously they’re starving! LOL. Take my advice, STAY AWAY!!! lol

Although I live closer to the big box stores, Lowe's & Home Depot in Robinson, I find myself going to Hopewell for most of my needs. I've never had a problem with any of their associates. They do seem to fulfill my needs much quicker than the big box stores. I take my back pack leaf blower and other garden tools there for repair and they always do a great job. I've rented garden tools & construction tools from them, too, at fair prices.One thing that I find a little annoying is the wait is so very long to repair my item but that proves that many people rely on C & I to have the item repaired correctly. The repair shop seems to be overwhelmed at best. The repair cost is reasonable. I much prefer to shop at the little mom n' pop stores because I feel that the service I receive is more personable and I don't have to search forever to find an employee when I can't find an item. I'll continue to be a repeat customer and have been for many, many years.

I had a problem with a riding lawnmower that bought from Lowes. I had an extended warranty. They took it 3 times fo fix it only to return it not fixed. Stacy from C&I hardware of aliquippa came and picked it up. One day later she called and told me that lowes had put all my gasket seal’s on backwards, missing screws, and worked on things that didn’t even need fixed.They told me in one day everything that was wrong with it. Lowes had it for many months and sabotaged it. C&I are professional and I’d recommend them to anyone

Then store rate 4 BUT SERVICE DEPARTMENT O I HAVE STORE PICKUP RIDE MOWER TO HAVE DECK HOOK UP. THEY CALLED THEY SAID THAT THEY REPLACE SPINDEL NEED REPLACE, SO I T WAS OK. THEN THEY TUNE THE TRACKER UP. . BUT THEY PUT WRONG GAS FILTER WRONG GAS FITER ON IT I PATED THE BILL OF289. Dollars they drop it off IN driveway so few days later when out cut grass it start I move it maybe 30 feet it turn off and would start cal them day hung up on me then drove over to store let them know they will call so drove back to store ask to speak to manager stud there for 15 min no one came to talk to the. I never got too talk to them.I call again talk to manager he stay

Walked up to the register lady behind the counter is not wearing a mask talking to someone else about the owner “who doesn’t know how to do all the jobs in the store.” The man she is talking to has his mask around his neck and then they begin to talk about how government workers don’t know how to do their jobs either and waste money.......I’m a federal employee standing in front of them being mocked when I waited until after work to come support a local business instead of going to a big box store. Next time I’ll go to Lowe’s where they don’t mind sticking to state laws and keeping their opinions to themselves.

I'm from Ohio working on a project in Aliquippa.Needed supplies to complete a project. C & I True Value had everything i needed. And we all know "time is money". They were very helpful and they took the time to help me get all the items on my list from different parts of the store.I was out of there in less time than it took me to park my vehicle. Well stocked with seasonal items!

Equipment rental this time. Drain auger needed. First one the gfi on the cord crapped itself, switched out with a new one and they reset the "rental clock". They always cover everything and treat you right.

I took my lawnmower back to be worked on, I would have taken the carb apart myself and cleaned the floats. My brother went to pick up the mower and when he arrived the cost was 13 dollars, he thought ok well he bought this here less than a year ago so that makes sense, that price was changed right in front of him. The woman cashing him out says "well that isn't right." She then proceeded to scratch that amount out and changed it to 46. I called to see why the price changes and the guy I am speaking to starts lying about "jet ports" and they make these out of plastic so 30 minutes of labor.....yeah that is the right price. I will never take anything to them for repairs ever again and I will do it myself.

Stopped in for Japanese beetle traps. They were out. I purchased Devin dust. Store has some nice gardening supplies and flags. I purchased 2 pots for planting outdoor flowers. Good selection

Bad if i could give a 0 i would. I took a brand new troy built blower that hadn't work right sense i first used it. i bought it at the Coraopolis hardware and took it back right away after a couple visits they evaluated it as bad and told me to take it to C&I they are troy built support. Not hearing from C&I I called troy built and they stated that C&I never gave them the info so the clam was denied. i have talk to Pete 5 time he always says he has to find the paper work and he will take care of me. This has been going on more than 8 months. the blower cost over $200 my family cant afford to blow off because C&I wont do their job!!!

Alams hardware is in the same neighborhood and has a better selection and WAY better customer service all around. Based on your interactions with everyone in the C and I (especially those wearing kilts to work) you’d swear you were at your in-laws for aunt Ruth’s 80th. They present a “ could not care less about your question” vibe to everyone. BTW ALAMS will let you use the bathroom as well. When I asked the very pleasant woman behind the counter if there was a bathroom I could use—“ we don’t really want customers using the bathroom”. Go to Alams don’t waste you time or money at this hardware store.
