If you have any old Lionel postwar, this is the place. My husband is so happy we found this place. Lionel train repairs especially, are very few and far between. Does a great job! And anything you need for your train setup, they have. Numerous engines and cars, track, not just Lionel...other brands also. And pretty much any hobby you are into. Has a lot!

A great local hobby shop with a ton of inventory for RC, train, parts, etc. Rob can perform repairs in-house, also is very friendly and knowledgeable. So glad I found this shop for all my RC needs.

I rolled in here the other day to discuss some model trains. The owner was very helpful & enjoyed showing us his remarkable train set upstairs! I got a super good deal on a Lionel train set for a Xmas gift for my son! At least they're willing to work some deals if you're planning on spending $400-$500

Amazing shop, i had drove an hour away from Ohio to unfortunately sell my train sets but it was worth it. The owner was very friendly, honest and helpful, He has been there for over 30 years he said and you can tell he takes pride in his store and treats every costumer with respect. If you are looking to grab your next model car, train sets and accessories, RC vehicles and so much more then please stop in and check his place out. He has very good prices as well!! So stop buying online and make the trip over to his store and help your local business! Everything is a lower price than online. I would definitely make the long drive again A+ experience!!

Was looking for a basic train set for under the tree and of course they had it. This little hobby shop is more big then little. It may look small as you approach but once inside you will be amazed. Trains...trains and more trains plus RC and model rockets and much more. Super nice owner and they've been there for many years.

The people running the place are great. The selection however leaves a lot to be desired. Their selection for RC is exclusive to Traxxas do if you are looking for another brand you will need to go elsewhere or wait for it to come in via a special order. The stairs leading to the main floor are quite steep and are easy to slip your footing by misjudging just how tall they are. Good selection of train stuff.

What fantastic service!Was desperately needing two particular colors of trim tape to complete an extensive large shrimp trawler model rebuild. A couple eBay sellers had one color but not the other and their shipping charges were ridiculous.Found these folks on line and although the web site was not cooperating, I phoned them and within minutes they had confirmed the availability of both colors I needed and easily handled the sale over the phone.Called just before closing on a Saturday and was promised my order would go in Monday's mail and on Wednesday, my tape arrived in Florida!

Went to this store for my first time. Was greeted by a friendly boxer, that made the trip worth it!!! Anyway I am setting up a train display in our store front for Christmas and the owner set me up with everything that I needed. He explained items that I needed, and did not try to up sell or push other items on to me. All around great trip and will be sure to stop back for future purchases.

1st time to this Hobby Store. Went with my Spouse & his Boss, who collects Trains. This place is huge, [ upstairs & downstairs.] Plan on spending an hour or more there, as they have R.C. cars, Trucks, Airplanes, Tanks, Trains, etc. If you're a serious hobbyist or a newbie, You won't be disappointed in their ample selections! I just wish they had "Art" supplies. Lol Great Place!! Friendly owners & staff too!

I am going to ad one star from my previous review, the people are very nice but service is terrible the guy that knows what's going on isn't always there, or may be installing truck accessories in the parking lot when you get there, then you will have to wait and wait and wait, his mother inside (very nice ) can't help with anything much...but I did drop off a train engine to be repaired and it's fixed perfect, but waited about 35 min just to pick it up, He was outside installing a truck bed cover, his mother (very nice) says she cannot give you back your item that was repaired he has to do that...for a hobby shop just not good service, I must say tho train is working great and at a fair price I think, it also was repaired in about 2 weeks I think that was great also, just may have to wait or might not be able to be helped if you show up when he is not there I will be using hobby express in Cranberry great service there with plenty of help no waiting ever. I don't mind waiting a little but at American hobby every visit is not a convenient stop.

Took my daughter's model train in to be repaired and the man whose name I did not get fixed it right on the spot since it was minor while I waited. Exceptionally happy with the service provided there. This type of customer service is becoming a lost art. Drove all the way from Washington to Aliquippa for this to be fixed and I will definitely make the trip again should the need arise.

My husband went to American Hobby Center to drop off a train that we needed repaired. Much to our surprise, the train was fixed, on the spot, and he was out of the shop in 10 minutes. It was a great experience and we would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!!

I am very pleased with my experience here . I bought a traxxas max and had some transmitter issues with it . this shop fixed the problem no cost to me even tho I think it was my fault.. great service great conversation an all around good place to spend some time and cash lol.. I will definitely be back in the future..., Ps support your local small business you’ll find your time and money will be better spent
