UPDATE: I will leave my previous comments from my initial two star review here for context and information, but I felt it important to update my review after my ongoing experience. Following my initial review the director of the center called me directly and discussed the mishap with the groomer and apologized. She very kindly agreed to correct the issue and clean up my cat’s fur. So today we went back and she did a great job cleaning him up. He looks SO much better. I am grateful for her attention to my concern. So appreciative of of their accountability and the resolution.ORIGINAL: The primary reason I am writing this is because, as you can see, my cat was very poorly groomed. I didn’t see it when I went to pick him up because he was in the carrier, but as soon as I let him out at home I saw the terrible job. He had gone in for a shave because he’s overweight and can’t groom himself well and gets knots, but there is NO reason for this to be the result. He may be a cat but he deserves the same level of grooming as a dog gets. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the majority of staff were incredibly polite both on the phone and in person. The groomer… never again.

Highly recommend!!! We brought our family cat as a last minute emergency. Not only were they extremely welcoming and caring but they also brought out a blanket to make sure our love one was comfortable. Although I do not live in the area (NJ) I would bring my love ones here to be cared for. Thanks again to all the staff for your kindness and the love you have for our pets!

My sister called just after 5 for her dog needing emergency treatment after a suspected stroke. They were open until 7 but did not care that this dog was suffering. They did refer to Erie location that IS NOT OPEN until Wednesday. I would never rely on this vets office to care for my pets.

Very friendly helpful staff who went above and beyond to make sure I got a copy of my dog's test results from a year earlier. They could've shrugged it off but the desk staff found a way to make sure I had the right papers. Thanks so much!

We love all the staff!! There is a great chemistry between the staff and it shows. Absolute best care for our dog Paul and 3 cats, Link, Bruce and Zelda. Both routine and an emergency visit here and there were handled with compassion and great knowledge. Highly recommend this office. Highest confidence in the 3 doctors.

I have nothing but high praise for the Albion Animal Center. We were taking our elderly cat elsewhere & they misdiagnosed her which lead to kidney disease. After a few days of not eating or drinking we decided to take her to the Albion Animal Center & they got her in immediately & did the necessary care to get her back on her feet. I truly believe that if we didn't take her to them, she would not have made it. A special thanks to Katy, who has been nothing but helpful, kind & explained everything to us with genuine care for our cat.

The vet is to the point she does not sugar coat anything and I love that. I want to hear what's wrong and how to fix it. We recently had my German Shepherds teeth cleaned - removed. They went above and beyond called to update through the day. They are excellent. Also pricing is very detailed and very reasonable! Glad we found them!

I am very satisfied with my visits. I had to get shots for my dog Joe on Friday and everyone is so kind and caring. Poor Dr. Imbur was trying all morning to successfully jump through impossible hoops to get a dog to be allowed to join the family in their move to Japan. She apologized profusely for my wait which wasn’t even five minutes by the way and explained how awful her morning was going due to this situation. I just love everybody there.

This is the BEST vet I have ever taken my animals to. I was completely blown away by the amount of caring and patience. Highly recommend. PS... those that are complaining about prices, the vet I just transferred from charged over double what this vet office did for services. These fees are reasonable.

Being somewhat new to the pet parent world I've only had experience with 3 or 4 other veterinary offices, but they have been by far the best, always.They are always so friendly to myself, my husband, and our critters. Very knowledgeable staff, always able to work with our schedules and get us in quickly, and they never get annoyed by my many silly questions. They are very good about being clear on prices without any surprises, and everything has been very reasonably priced (probably the lowest cost actually compared to other vet offices I've been to).They never left me feeling uncertain or taken advantage of, unlike other vet offices I've been to. They are very good at following through when needed and are very good about helping me decide what's best for my pet and family. And they do so many fun cute things that really make us feel welcome and cared for.I never honestly thought I'd ever be this satisfied with a vets office. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place and the staff.Myself and my furry critters 100% recommend them. They also have a rewards program that really does save you good money.

Unlike the old owners, Pinehollow doesn't nickel & dime it's pet owners. They're knowledgeable & gentle with my pets. They sold me an ear treatment for my rottie without forcing me to visit with her 1st. The infection was more than I could handle tho, so I had to bring her in. They literally came out to my car to work on her ears since it was easier for my dog. 4 yrs ago, our 11 yr. old rottie was dying. They came to our home, outside of business hours, to gently help him pass away, where he felt safe. Without these people, I wouldn't have had a meaningful goodbye, while holding him in my arms as he passed on.

It's a great Animal Pet Clinic. I take all of my animals there for their shots, and anything they need. Spayed, Neutered, anything medical and even grooming. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing place!! Our dog's own vet wouldn't see her for an emergency visit this morning even tho she couldn't walk because she was in so much pain!! So we started calling every local vet office and Albion Animal Center, who had never seen my dog before, told me to bring her straight in, (on a weekend too!!) They were right on time, they treated us with kindness, gave our dog enough medication to keep her comfortable until her rx could be filled. I don't have enough good things to say about Albion Animal Center!! Our 2 dogs now have a new veterinary office and I'm so grateful they are so caring and didn't want my elderly dog suffer all weekend in pain! So 5 stars all day for this place!! They rock!! 🐶👏

I took a very sick little cat to the office today. It was his first visit to his new doctor. He was so nervous and so was I. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable. They showed tremendous compassion and care for him. Thanks to their excellent care and experience he is safe and warm at his home. He is going to have a rough couple of days ahead however we have such faith in our new friends at Albion Animal Center.

Had to put my 17 year old Scutterbotch to sleep. Her mind was still sharp but her body just gave out on her. It was a traumatic experience for us both and all of the staff at the Animal Center were so compassionate and understanding as I sat in my car blubbering. They were gentle and kind. After it was over, they brought her to me in a pretty blue, nylon case all zipped up snug as a bug. That meant soooo.... much to me. You see, I got her brother handed to me in a garbage bag!! The staff at the Albion Animal Center are a class act. Definitely take your pets there. I haven’t had a need again but I will bring all of my pets to them when needed.

I brought My dog in who is sick and not feeling well. We had a curbside consultation to ensure that it was not kennel cough during which I informed them that she is very allergic to flea medication and cannot have any flea medication as she has fallen over twitching previously from it. They brought us inside so one flea on my dog and gave her flea medication without saying anything to me until after they did it. They are irresponsible unprofessional and just poor. Worst experience ever I wouldn't take any animal there.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU...We had the worst experience with this vet. We had 3 visits over 5 weeks for a limp. Visit #1 X-rays were taken and a diagnosis of a possible bone tumor and we were told testing for this condition was extremely painful and expensive and his leg may have to be amputated, we were devastated. Visit #2 Dr said she thought she rushed to a tumor diagnosis and said it could be a possible bone infection. Each visit came with an exam that totally did not address a large lump on his side. Visit #3 at our request X-rays of the lump were taken. The Dr came in, showed the x-rays to us and pointed out that there was a mass in the abdomen that was obscuring his critical organs and was very close to his heart, treatment....Quality of life care until we were ready to euthanize. We were heartbroken. We weren't ready to give up. We had Albion refer us to Medvet in Akron, OH to see if the large mass could be removed and save his life. Within 10 minutes Dr at Medvet diagnosed a ruptured CCL for the limp and a fatty lipoma for the mass and said it was not affecting anything internally and shouldn't be worried about. In disbelief we had an Ultrasound performed, all of his organs were healthy. The doctor and Radiologist at Medvet looked at Albion's X-rays and could find no internal mass! Human's make mistakes, but 3 mistakes in 3 visits that could have cost a perfectly healthy dog his leg and possibly his life is unacceptable. When we spoke to Albion they did admit mistakes were made and did refund us roughly half of the money that we spent. We shutter to think if we would have followed Albion's advice. While they did give treatment options, if the diagnosis is wrong then those options would be wrong as well. We are currently scheduled to have his surgery for the knee in Akron and he will not ever be returning to Albion Animal Center.
