Dollar General is good for a quick stop if your forgot something, but to do any kind of real shopping I would go somewhere else. Sure they do have some good deals and some of there stuff is priced better, but a lot of it is not. You can absolutely catch some good sales. This dollar general is fairly cleaner then other dollar generals I have been in. I like it because it is on my commute so I don't have to go out of my way if I forgot something. They have snack items, drinks, some basic food items, kitchen items, cleaning supplies, pet food, toiletries, stationary items etc. They have a little bit of your basic needs. Normally you can get in and out of there quickly which is a plus. The parking lot is huge. The staff are helpful and friendly.

One of the cleaner, more organized stores in the area. Always very well stocked and they keep the store looking "fresh" as the displays and seasonal is always up to par. Employees are super helpful as well.

Walking into the store through the stench of cigarette smoke because the employee was out front directly infront of the door smoking was disgusting. Then to have the employee come into the store behind you, and not even say hello, was a turn off. They were even up at the front when I checked.... Not even a "Have a nice evening"..."Thanks for shopping at DG!"Some additional training and guidance needs to be provided, if you are in the business of providing goods and services (customer service). And the store had a horrible sour smell, as though the mop or whatever was used to clean the floors was not dried properly or old dirty mop water was used.

Usually have what I want. Most items are bargains. Good place to buy greeting cards. Stocking the shelves is a work in progress so you have to walk around the carts, etc. Staff is courteous and helpful. Live about 1.5 miles from the store so it's very convenient. Being open until 10pm usually allows me to pick up items when I work late.

The only reason my 🌟 is because good prices on the item. Got there don't know what to do. I am trying to ask the worker what to do. All she is saying it's ready, it's ready. No idea where it was, if I scan the item, should show my email, I'd nothing. So I am wrong asking what to do or just because I am Hispanic???

The store was clean and organized. There were some empty shelves, but there was items stacked in the aisles to be restocked. Two employees with one as cashier and other stocking shelves. The stocker did move to help cashier when the line grew. Very busy store on a Saturday morning.

I love shopping at the Dollar General because you get great buys when you use the digital coupons but I hate going to the Akron location because there shelves are never stocked and it's hard to move through the aisles because of the big carts that are in the way filled with boxes that need put away. I have went there at least 5 times in a 2 month period and each time left without something I needed because they didn't have the product in stock! This location used to be great to go to but now it is a mess!! I hope something changes!! I only go there now for my laundry detergent stuff because I cant count on this store to have what I need!!

On a Saturday this place was loaded to the gills with tall, fully stacked carts in every single aisle, waiting to be unpacked and stocked in shelves. I felt sorry for the only clerk working, as she was busy at the register. Difficult to find anything this trip. Hope it's better next time!

This store used to be clean and neat. However in the past month the manager and employees have taken NO interest in keeping this store stocked or clean. There are full and empty boxes all over the aisles of the store. One aisle is completely blocked by boxes. It is actually becoming dangerous to navigate around this store. Shelves are empty. Where are the products? Probably in the row of boxes that need to be emptied. I used to stop in here to pick up cat food and other items, but now I will need to go elsewhere. What a shame - this store could be an asset to the neighborhood. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Love the fact that they have opened a store so close to home! Gotta say though, the shelves were stocked way better in the past. Many times now I go for an item I know they carry & it's not there. Also, what's up with shampoos and conditioners that don't go together? They'll have like 5/6 of a brand shampoo & NO conditioner. Or, bunch of conditioners & no shampoo to match. Disappointing. 🙄🤨😒😫

I love having this store right down the street; I come here all the time. Sometimes the prices are just as cheap or even better than Walmart or dollar tree and I can check a bunch of stuff off of my list. Sometimes you can get seasonal stuff for dirt cheap at the end of the season if you go to the store at the right time. Whether I’m taking my time and poking around or running in quick for storebrand cough syrup, this store delivers.The staff are usually friendly, helpful, and on point. Unlike some dollar stores, this one has a bathroom, which can be convenient if you’re poking around for a while!

Great store! Very crowded and a woman was extreme couponing...I had to wait in line for at least 10 minutes. The store is a little rough to move around in due to stuff in isles ect. It would be difficult for a person in a wheel chair. The employees are very friendly and I would go back.

I have shopped there since opening. I was disappointed that they have stopped carrying two items that seemed to be good sellers. They are compression knee highs and roll on muscle rub. Also recently when I have been in the store,their are a lot of merchandise boxes in the isles.

NOT open until 10pm. I got there around 9:00, and the lights were on and there were 2 other cars there, but the door was locked. I called them and they said they decided to close early but wouldn't give a reason. This is a store, not a burger joint that closes down whenever the employees feel like it.

A pretty routine Dollar General store. I like it's convenient location although depending on the time of day it happens to be, it can be a little tricky to make a left onto 272 when you leave. Items are usually where they belong and clearly priced and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great bargains! You have to understand that Dollar General is not going to have upscale items. You can't buy dress shirts there. If you want party decorations, don't bother going anywhere else.

This DG is very neat and tidy..maybe not as big as some other DG' s. Every time I shop there, always greeted by friendly, helpful cashiers who stand ready to "go the extra mile" to assist you to find something. A real pleasant atmosphere here!

Such a shame, a fairly new dollar general that is going straight to the pot! Employees- very friendly! Appearance of the store outside and inside- disgusting! It all boils down to management, apparently the manager doesn't care- just there for a paycheck.. No pride whatsoever in the store- empty shelves galore, looks like they are going out of business! What a shame!

I have not been back to this store for a while now. I went to buy cards and the listing on the shelf says 2 for a dollar, but when I take it yo the clerk he wants to charge me more and says it's only for select cards. It's not that I cant pay for it but the principal of it. And one time a lady brought an item to the clerk without a price and he wouldn't check for her what the price was and said I cant sell it to you without the price on it. She went back through the store and then walked out of the store with that item. And usually boxes everywhere. Poor management. I dont go there anymore.

The store is usually pretty clean and well organized. Great for a few quick pick ups with out having to stand in long lines at the grocery store. Staff is professional and friendly.

Great place to go to get almost everything you need. Sometimes they are sold out of things you want but there is usually some other alternatives, so overall its a great place to shop!

Why is this place always closed during peakHours? It closes at randomTimes during the day and will stay closed for hours. I see customers come and go from across the street after walking toThe door all the time. It's pathetic and a horrible way toRun a business

This store is hit or miss. Sometimes not always the friendliest when it comes to couponers. I'm assuming it has to do with who the district manager is as I've had numerous issues with the stores located towards this end of the county. I like to shop at different stores when I'm in the area for appts. But this end of the county is something to be desired to say the least.

The store always has boxes everywhere and lately theyve been out of stock on alot of things. There in the boxes to be put on the shelf. It seems everytime i go in the stuff is in the box on the thing to be shelved. Ive considered just going to the other one because this ones always a mess

I have gone to this location several times from getting out from work in Lititz. Almost every single time that I've gone there it is has be 10 to15 minutes before they're supposed to close at 10pm. Almost every time the doors are locked or one of the employees is at the door locking them and they could clearly see me. I'm sorry but if the hours say 10pm then that means 10pm. I worked retail every single job I have had in my career except at my current jobs now and we never closed our doors until the actual time. Even if a customer showed up at our door one minute before close. I am a reasonable person and would be ok in those situations if it had been after the actual close time but that is a horrible way of doing business and it needs to be fixed.
