Very friendly shop with an interesting selection of books. I found several in subjects I’m familiar with that I had not known had been published — which is one of the big reasons I love used book stores!All prices are quite fair and competitive with other book stores.

Visited here to find some travel reading, and was not disappointed. For a very small store, the selection is rather good. The owner was very friendly and appreciative.It was a nice change to not see computers everywhere.

This place is very cute, I even bought a post card! But.. when I let out a small toot I was greeted with a little bit of a glare from some other patrons. I will not take it out on the store because the worker did not judge me (visibly) for the toot.

Great store! Mari is very kind - seems to know when you just want to browse, or when you're in the mood to talk about books or take a recommendation. A must when in Yachats.

I just walked in on a whim looking for a book I can never find. They didn't have it, but the friendly atmosphere was worth the trip. My cousin walked in and spent 30 minutes talking to the staff and buying books. Very nice place.

One way to gauge the quality of a bookstore is whether or not I can get out without one to five books under my arm. The internet is an ok place to buy books if you already know what you want but to broaden horizons, engage in a challenge, try something new a really good bookstore is a great place to start and Mari's is a great bookstore. We have visited Yachats for vacation for several years and one of our first stops on arrival is Mari's with the expectation we will come out with vacation reading material and introductions to new authors who will become long term means to education and entertainment. We have walked out with books on Quantum physics, religion and Oregon Coast mysteries. The collection is eclectic as well as best sellers, regional and international. Additionally, you can enjoy a wonderful book conversation with Mari. Stop in for a wonderful book experience.
