Very interesting place. I felt like I was walking in the movie of Harry Potter with Argus Filch-looking people wandering around. We arrived at 10pm and people were still fixing the floor and toilet …? The gas is extremely expensive but at least the burrito was cheaper than the one in grand canyon. There was a fridge filled with some cups of neon color beans in the slimy liquid. Have no idea what that is.Update: I just found out that the burrito was MORE expensive than the one in Grand Canyon. The reason why it seems cheaper is because they charged me a weird juice I didn’t buy instead of the burrito.

horrible, cursed.. 24 hours of disturbance.. home to an illegal chop shop where some local thieves work on their stolen goods all night, banging and sawing through the night keeping awake everyone at the darling historic hotel across the street.. empty shelves and empty fridges, now I know why.. it's just a place for selling alcohol to the local tweakers and letting them work on their stolen merchandise.. encouraged by the unsympathetic owners.. sheriffs office is no help either - what a shame for beautiful Oregonphotos show 3 men using a circular saw at night next to their pickup truck and trailer of stolen goods at 430 am.. and same truck and trailer leaving parking lot at 11am

Don't expect much, never have any ice and the people at the register don't seem to care if you are there or not.Very run down facility and it seems to be a magnet for the homeless and people who don't have anything to do during the day but hang out at a gas station.Update: No changes. It's even gotten worse with the homeless/ drug addicts and local kids who avoid school hanging out outside. Be careful when getting gas, you might have a local driving around your car in a 4 wheeler. The owners of the store don't care, they practically encourage it.Be warey of "Allen" at the corner, he likes to yell at people and be wary of Colton, he likes to throw rocks at cars. Stay away from the store if you can.

We stopped here because my daughter needed a restroom, and I figured I would top up the gas. It was like a scene from a bad movie. There were ten rough looking locals fighting, yelling, and causing trouble in the parking lot. I walked inside to enquire about the washroom and was told it's out of order. There was another local inside yelling obscenities and threatening manager, telling him he'd better pack up and leave town. Apparently the local sherrif was okay with all of this, because he was just pulling out of the parking lot when we were pulling in. Avoid this place at all costs!!

The most surreal experience of my week. I was driving down the highway and ran out of gas, saw the station. I walked into that store and found it just full of people, despite the fact that it was 11pm and located at absolutely nowhere. Everyone was doing weird things to be doing at 11pm in a grocery store, like tiling the floor or staring at the toilet or walking around the aisles and doing nothing. One guy was wearing the biggest shoes I’ve ever seen on a human being. Some guy was literally digging coins out of the newspaper stand outside. They claimed they didn’t have a bathroom when some guy was just blatantly staring at one with the door open. The gas was a whole dollar more expensive than the gas station right next door. They even had a mysterious green door next to the store that they kept insisting we should walk into. I walked out of that store feeling like a muggle that wandered too close to some wizards. 10/10 experience, would do it again.

My husband and I stopped for gas and a bathroom break. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.But even worse was the gas fill up. Even though the pumps had credit card readers, the attendant told my husband he had to go inside to pay. He had to wait for a bit before paying, and when it was finally his turn, the inside attendant did not acknowledge him and actually walked away and went into the back. He came out a few minutes later and still didn't acknowledge him. My husband told the guy that he was told to come in and pay and the guy still didn't didn't say a word but pointed at a card reader. The reader didn't issue a receipt and when my husband asked for one, the guy gave him one but acted annoyed.While he was still inside and I was waiting in the car, I heard a gushing of what I thought was water from a hose, but then the attendant came and tapped on my window. He told me there was something wrong with our gas tank. Obviously in this remote area I was quite concerned that there was a serious problem with our car, but it turned out that he just let the gas overflow. There were about 2 gallons of gas under the car. THAT was the gushing that I had heard. Apparently the shut off mechanism on the pump didn't work. He didn't put sand or anything on the ground, just followed us when we pulled the car over to the side to see what was going on and insisted that it was our car, and not their equipment. This was the only place it happened so I didn't think so. We went to a station further down the road where we asked about it and they verified what we assumed, which was that there's nothing wrong with our tank.We will be contacting Shell to make an official complaint, as well as Oregon Weights and Measures. And obviously keeping a close eye on any fraudulent credit card activity.

If your not from there just keep going. Gas is over priced by 50 cents as is everything else. They have claw machine and a coin pusher but you might as well bring your own quarters because they only give minimal change. Why have them if you don't accommodate with a quarter machine. Poor attitudes and just all around not pleasant. The historic wolf creek inn is across the street. That's its only attraction.

We stopped here in this quiet small mountain town to take a break from our travels and check-out the historic Wolf Creek Inn. Disappointed that the place was closed, so we went across the street to the General Store, use the restrooms and grab some snacks/drinks before we continued our trip.Be Aware... you are being watched! The man and wife at the counter were not very welcoming and just stared at us the entire time with grouchy looks. Then we went to pay for the items we noticed above the register there were about six video screens, and still while paying he was rude with those same looks.Oh... and yes the restrooms were disgusting

Not right the way local people are treated. There is a wrong treatment of different types of people for whoever deems suitable for their own status at the "general store". I suggest stay away by all means.

continuation.. So, having a bad feelings I opened the door to that restroom..OMG!! It was not just POOR-FAIR QUALITY ...it was disgusting!!! Once again DISGUSTING! I have seen a lot in my life, but nothing like that restroom! I am totally agree with the previous writer! Please, read his review below . It was written 2 years ago ,but NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED since!!! I told the owners about the condition of the restroom, they need to be shamed of it, moreover, I was going to file a complaint about them to the Best Businness Bureau! Unexpectedly for me the owners became very agressive!!! The man and his wife yelled at me to get out of their store, there even was a moment when I said to that screaming man to back off me and if he touches me I will call to police! I rushed out, because I was scared and deeply insulted by the worst customer service!! But that man was really out of control he contined to run behind me yelling about someone who cleans that restroom everyday! "Really???. When was the last time, you sir had visited your restroom, 10-15 years ago??" My son had to stop him!! So, my dear fellow travelers!!! If you need some gas or other things... Please never ever stop at Wolf Greek Texaco Gas Station!! EVER!!! It is noither safe for your health nor for your life!!It was on November 4th 2012!!!

This is the best place in town to stop. They sell groceries, pump gas. The staff are friendly and the place is clean.However, there are a large number of unsavory people in this town. The review below is a bit over the top, but largely correct. If you are by yourself at night, I'd suggest staying on the freeway.

After insisting that the pump credit card readers didn’t work, I was told to go inside. They ran my card four times saying it didn’t work. Each time the screen said it worked, but they insisted on me and starting my credit card again. Ultimately, I canceled the transaction and paid cash. The person behind the counter had blood shot eyes and they had a display that had at least 15 types of pseudoephedrine for sale. I believe the store is a front, or service for drug addicts. There were numerous high people hanging out around the bathrooms in the store front. Do not go to this place!

Terrible owners!! They run out stock for regular items on a regular basis! I give it a 2 star rating because they typically have good hearted workers that are dealing with terrible owners. Never plan a stop here!

Ok, On November 4th my son and I drove from Portland to Sacramento. When we needed some gas we stopped at Wolf Greek Texaco Gas Station. While my son was helped with gas, I went inside a general store to use it's restroom. There was a man,( he was the owner,as I found out it later) who informed me that the restroom was outside of the store. I thought:" Oh, that is never good". But I asked the owner, just in case:" Is it safe?". The answer was:" Oh, yes of course!!!" Havin
