I have had the pleasure of working at the store. The store looks amazing. Pop in and grab a bargain. Some beautiful jewelry made by myself. Edith is the founder of FCat and she is an amazing person with a massive heart. She has done an awesome job of setting the store up. The store take donations which goes towards vet bills, medical care and food for the cats and kittens of Douglas County. Contact Edith for ways to donate towards their mission. Every person who works at the store are volunteers, all the money goes back to the rescue.

I heard of the FCAT Thrift Shop from a friend but couldn't visit because of mobility and access issues until now (before the sidewalk was fixed). While I am anxious to shop, I look forward to volunteering, hopefully, to support the care of feral, stray homeless cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛️.Edith has a beautiful shop, which is what I have always dreamt of having, but health and other issues have prevented me. I can no longer participate in TNR and finding barn homes but will be caring for the last of the colony where I live. I am looking forward to meeting with her and, hopefully, I can add some jewelry, original art pieces and unique treasures to augment the inventory. My late husband and I dreamt of doing what FCAT has accomplished in establishing a retail outlet.It will be wonderful having a place to donate and consign, knowing the items will help with the much-needed spay & neutering, health care, feeding and adoption of feral cats in Douglas County. 😻

Proceeds go to help feed, house, and care for feral cats in the Winston area. They are overwhelmed with the demand.I shop there to find bargains and help with the cats.There's plenty of hidden gems to find. Help support their effort!!

When you first walk in, it is a bit stinky of cat Pooh, but it is for a good reason. They have cats on-site to be adopted. The prices are great and they have many cute stuff! Will come again.
