Store time: First and foremost, the only reason this got any stars was the solid five star employee Megan. And to preface this, I chose self checkout cause I am autistic and prefer the least amount of human interaction possible…. Today did not go my way. Pictures are store front and Clarissa. Otherwise, you can’t get lower for service here.I drove a ways to come to this store because it had the medicine I was looking for. After my shopping around I go to the self checkout, like I always do. The medicine, children’s Sudafed, was ringing up as “non sale”.The first to attack me was Clarissa. She is unprofessional, demeaning and snotty. I wasn’t interested in speaking with someone like her so I asked for a manager… and boy did I get one. I never got her name, but holy hell she must have been under a lot of stress cause she unleashed it onto me. This woman was aggressive, bossy, rude, and basically the least personable person they could have put in a manager position. Bad choice. Not only was she causing a scene, she made me so uncomfortable that I won’t be coming back ever. At least 6-7 employees were just standing there watching this go down.The only saving grace was Megan. She went above and beyond helping me. She came over and was helping diffuse the situation and even said she would help me look for a replacement medicine in the isle. We put my cart off till the side so people could use the self checkout while we were in the aisle.About 5 mins we looked for a replacement in the aisle and it reminded me that I had the other medicine in the cart that the needed and I told Megan I could get it out of my cart to give to her to put in the back. But when I went to get my cart, it was gone. Clarissa was standing here and said “we didn’t think you were coming back.” So she gave the ok for someone to take my cart and start putting back all of the items I had collected. I replied that I was literally standing right there, with another employee (Megan). I lost it. I walked away and into an empty aisle and just cried. It was so frustrating how careless and blasé they were at the front. I hadn’t known Megan followed me into the aisle until I turned around after a solid 5 min cry/stim session.Being out here is overwhelming enough. I get my things and I stay out of people way. In and out. But this just kept getting more and more ridiculous by the minute. Megan even offered to walk around the store with me again to recollect everything, but the mental list is gone once I checked it off… she found what was left of my cart and well over half was gone but I couldn’t remember what was missing. So it was a lost cause.Megan. You deserve to be a manager here. You are so kind, patient and actually calmed me down from going into aggressive overstimulated mode. She offered to check me out in a closed register and stayed with me the whole time. Megan, you deserve so much more and I hope they give you the chance.

I've lived at West Linn my whole life. Me and my grandpa have been going to this Walmart for years. We used to love coming here, always seeing familiar faces and employees that gave great customer service.However, nowadays we dread coming here. Why? Well, because the newer employees have no manners, just look lost and follow us everywhere (thinking we're stealing) when we're clearly shopping and they see our shopping list in hand. It's annoying. Just this last time, we were at the self checkout, we were scanning our items and an employee wasn't doing anything just kept watching us. (She thought we weren't scanning everything) and she made it pretty clear of her intentions. We called her out on it, she tried to look busy. Right after we left the store, we can see her through the window and she left the self checkout. And someone needed help. No help was provided to that person, where was that girl to help at self checkout? Gone.

You can go to Safeway, Fred Meyer, Winco, Grocery Outlet or any other store but you won't find a better deal. Not to mention the cleanliness is on par with New Seasons. If you expect your experience to be first class, come here.

Shopped at West Lynn Walmart yesterday. Recently remolded. I can’t believe they didn’t update the produce department.There is a lot of dead weight working there, and I observed some of their employees only job was to spy on customers. I had a man follow me throughout the entire store all the way to checkout.No checkers, forced to U scan, where four more employees do nothing but make you feel uncomfortable. If you want a checker you must ask for one , who seems like she’s being put out.Lastly there is absolutely nowhere to put your own bags due to the lousy, no counter, forcing you to buy their bag design.Even at U scan.Very few choices left, especially since I was stopped by a locking shopping cart at Fred Myers, and given the shakedown.

I come here all the time because it's close to my house, but they have the *worst* produce of any store I've ever been to. Consistently. They must get it from other stores that are about to throw it out. It's never great; you have to use it within a day or two of buying it or it'll go bad. They also have a terrible vegan selection, which is odd for the area. And the ordering, I'm fairly certain, is done by throwing darts at Post-it notes. Don't ever count on anything being in stock. It's hit or miss whether they'll even have the item you want. That's not to say the shelves are bare, just that they rotate different products constantly. It's very annoying, but like I said, super close to home so I end up going there frequently. I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess.

Came here to pick up prescription, the service was super fast and pharmacist was very helpful and friendly! It’s a smaller size Walmart, convenient to go in and out. There seemed to be a lot of staff, and plenty of self-checkouts.

Walmart Neighborhood Market is my choice for low prices and no hoop jumping to get them (coupons/rewards). The fruit and vegetable selection can be unpredictable depending on when they have a rush of regulars. If you're shopping for apples, don't go in the early evening. Broccoli, too. That's when the selection is least well stocked. The grocery staff is very friendly, helpful and consistently so. The pharmacy staff is awesome.The store could improve the cleanliness of the produce department and store overall. That's why I left four stars and not five.

Bought a brand new pack of unopened cheese from this Walmart today ( 9 / 22 ), and opened it two hours after purchase and upon opening it I noticed it was covered in mold. Despite the expiration date saying that it’s good until January at the latest. This is not the first time I have received products from this Walmart that were moldy, opened, or expired after purchasing and bringing it home.Two days ago I walked in to see that they had three day old expired cheese cakes on the shelf growing mold on them, still available for purchase.If you plan on shopping at this Walmart please make sure you are inspecting the product the best you can as they clearly do not date there products correctly and will sell expired food. I have put in a complaint towards the food health hotline about this situation.

I went in to walmart today to buy a few things but had some trouble finding them. I was lucky enough to have help from one of the workers named Kathya. She was so incredibly helpful and kind to me when I needed her help. She worked hard to ensure I had a good experience and I certainly did because of her. She is exceptional and great at what she does.

To be perfectly honest - I do not typically shop at Walmart’s. I also don’t live in West Linn, but I’ve recently been working out there a couple days a week. After a horrifyingly bad experience at the West Linn Market of Choice, I popped in here for a quick grocery trip. Only to discover I didn’t have my debit card with me. Review loses one star because Walmart doesn’t take Apple Pay which would have avoided the awkward scenario that followed. I didn’t have my debit card and since they didn’t take Apple Pay - I proceeded to pay for my order with 11 gift cards with varying balances ranging from .20 to 2.50. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the friendly team here for laughing alongside with me during this experience and an extra shout out to Brian who was super accommodating given the circumstances. I went in again tonight and had an issue with an exploding bag of collagen peptides in the self checkout - I PROMISE I am not THAT customer. Had a good laugh with Brian again - and the older woman with the accent was so nice about the whole situation. You have an amazing staff here at this store. As a store manager myself - customer service is so important to me. Thank You Brian and West Linn Walmart Team!

My fiancé went in today to buy us groceries while I’m at work i run one of the stores in the lil outlet. one of the employees told my fiancé that she isn’t allowed to just stand around in the store when she was clearly shopping he made this comment after she said that she was waiting for me to call her so she could know what I wanted from the store it made her so uncomfortable that she left the store. I think this Walmart should learn better customer service definitely won’t be coming back again😡😡😡🤬

Decent place. The exterior is pretty well lit at night and the interior of the store is nice and bright. Hours are currently until 11pm and they have a pretty good selection of stuff in the store, and have several items that the WinCo in Oregon City doesn't carry. Employees are also more helpful than the WinCo in Oregon City (which is nice for us since Walmart is closer). I wish Walmart would return to the old hours of midnight, but that said it's nice that the hours aren't 10pm anymore. Overall the store is pretty clean and we'll kept. They also have a small little camping section and a small toy section which is nice, since that something competing grocery stores usually don't have. Prices are also pretty good.However, most of the front parking spots to the right side of the entrance are for pick up of online orders. 6 of 9 spots to be specific. The end result can mean your parking further away from the store and walking if you go when it's crowded (which is kind of a bummer when you're at the store with your family, since the parking lot can get busy and not all drivers pay attention). Parking lot gets pretty crowded during the day and early evening. Thins out later at night. Both the day and evening/night employees are fairly helpful. Overall, it's a nice store. A lot of the employees here recognize us / know us as frequent customers, which really does give it a neighborhood feel.As of April 2023, all Walmarts in Oregon no longer provide bags. So remember to bring your own bags for your groceries, or you will have to buy their cloth bags for around $0.99 a bag or you'll have to wheel it out to the you're vehicle in the cart.Self checkout eliminated conveyor belts and they don't have too many staffed checkstands open so it can be a PITA to buy large amounts of stuff.Also, earlier this year I was shot at by teenagers with a realistic looking pellet gun in a drive-by at night while I was loading groceries into my vehicle. They were in a black sedan, tore around past the old Round Table and out the backside. Left welts and paint damage. Police took a report, but despite Walmart having parking lot cameras everywhere (which would have caught the license plate) nothing came of it. So, if you shop here at night be careful.

Store quality has got better and better over the last few years. Unfortunately they are going to stop providing bags which is stupid. Please start selling paper (recyclable bags) bags. Also stop carding me and making name show ID...I am 59 years old and we all know I am old enough to buy alcohol.

I have gone to this location 3 times since start of 2023. The night time self check out lady with short hair is VERY RUDE. She has made me feel unwelcomed and made some unkind words about me ( she didn't realize I was ear shot) to her coworkers. I appologise I shopped for 10 mins, paid and took stuff to my car to drop off and forgot an item! There was still 10 mins before you closed... I just left. Hate thought of if I need some at 1030 and only near store is this location! But it will be a bit. My resecent visit today was horrible! She made most unwelcomed and untrusted person in the building even tho there was a gal shoving stuff in her backpack an aisle over ... I was buying baby food too...

The man at the customer service desk was nice and he hurried to help me wire a payment. He tried one service and it wouldn't go through. The second one he tried went though. The first one he tried was $7 or $8 and the second one was under $2. I wonder if training includes offering the most expensive option first? Ask about prices!

They have great customer service here! I wish they would have more cashiers in the check out lanes instead of making people use self check out. I support people having jobs, not machines. I also appreciate that they hire seasoned employees that may have issues finding employment elsewhere. I'm still finding expired or past Best By date on the shelves, but this is getting better

Shoppers should be aware that a "Neighborhood Market" doesn't have the department store sections that a regular Walmart does. It's just a grocery store with Walmart's name on it.They have a plastic film recycling on-site, for plastic bags and bubble wrap. That's a plus. There's a pharmacy, too. That's a plus.Other than that, not super impressed. The produce is not spectacular, and there isn't even a real deli section like you'd have in a real grocery store.The prices quoted for beer are also often inaccurate. Several times recently I have purchased 12-packs that say they should be 16.59, but the actual charge has been 18.99, and that's before the 1.20 can surcharge.Left me feeling like I'd been taken advantage of and I probably won't be back for anything other than the pharmacy or recycling.

If I could I would give the cashier's five stars. They have always been helpful and friendly. However there's a manager by the name of Mike who would get a minus 5 stars because of his out right disrespect and rudeness to me yesterday. I was checking out and a price rang up that wasn't the price shown for the product I wanted. I asked cashier to get a manager, told Mike what the problem was. He didn't even look at me just told cashier that the price was what it rang up as. I asked him to please go check the price showing for the product. He started to walk towards the product so I figured he was going to check the price. Minutes went by he hadn't returned . I noticed he didn't go check price, instead he was helping ANOTHER customer. Cashier had to go ask him about the price difference. Anyway Grant helped with adjusting the price after IHAD TO GO GET THE PRICE STICKER MYSELF. Mike has no business being a manager. Mike you also need to buy a belt for your pants that you kept pulling up.

Not a bad spot. Employees are helpful and friendly . Shelves are stocked well with a plentiful selection of goods. If you search hard enough, you can even find some bargains.I am not that familiar with local pricing, but the cost of many items seems a bit high. That would be my only negative.
