Wow!! We scored today for our daughter a’ birthday supplies. So many good deals and cute stuff. The manager was sooooo nice to us. Thank you!! We love stopping in here on our way home from snowboarding 👏🏻

To be clear, this is not a "dollar store" in the sense that some consumers might expect. Yes, the convenience in a rural area might be appreciated, as is the competition for the Welches grocery store. But many if not most items here are priced exactly as you would expect at a drugstore, Kmart or even the local grocery, not a dollar and often, much higher.To wit: stopped in for a cheap shower curtain liner, just a clear piece of plastic I needed for a household project (to wrap a large item for return shipping). At this store, these ranged from $7 to $12, what you would expect to pay at a Target or similar. By contrast, I visited the Dollar Tree in Sandy (a typical "dollar store"), a few miles down the road, where I bought that item at that price shortly after. DG might be a great stop when you need something in a pinch, but I wouldn't buy routine household items here. Curious how many shoppers might think everything here is a bargain, simply due to the name.

Kendra and manager Crystal I can't express it enough how much there help meant to me. I wasn't having the best day and they welcomed my son and I are the door with greetings of great energy and also assisted with price checking a few items not only that but corrected sale item prices and weren't rushed or making me feel that I was a bother. I will absolutely recommend all friends and family. Thank you again ladies keep up the great customer service you made a bad day into a great end of the night for me . You guys ROCK!!!

It was tough to see a dollar general come to a rural area (which is what they do). But this place is a breath of fresh air since the local Theftway does not care about having affordable prices for staple items like cleaning supplies and snacks for locals. I’m glad it’s here, but wouldn’t be so stoked if we had a local community store that actually cared about the local community.

I had never really been to a DG before darkening this location's door but I had heard a lot of negative things about the quality of items. I don't know about other locations but this particular store had all the consumable products (and then some) I would normally buy at Fred Meyer but at better prices. It seems like the management did their research and has adapted their stock to the local community. This store will save a lot of people trips to Sandy I believe.

So much better than thriftway! The prices are better, much cleaner environment, the staff is extremely kind and professional, and there is a ton of stuff there. Large pharmacy section, kitchen accessories, multiple isles of food, gifts, cleaning supplies, pet stuff, and lots more! They have great coupons too, like $5 off $25 every Saturday.

Very nice place. Employee were wearing masks. Gave me a key to the restroom without any questions asked. I wish they had a selecting of wine better than the cheapest possible.

This store is amazing! Has a little bit of everything at fair and honest pricing! Doesn't take advantage of the Mountain community or tourist passing through. Just what the mountain needed!

Not only is food, beer and smokes cheaper than Thriftway; EVERY single employee is super sweet and friendly. Just wish they had fresh produce.

Don't buy any pans there, they have a terrible chemical smell that never goes away and smoke comes rolling off of them even after washing and trying to cook the chemicals off for 15 minutes
