Delicious Breakfast, fast and friendly service! The coffee was hot and strong and everything we got here was fresh and quick. It’s in a cool old log cabin that is supposedly haunted which added to the atmosphere. The service was so great here. It was like having a cozy family breakfast. We will definitely be back and thanks for changing our minds about staying nearby again!

The place has a cool atmosphere. That's it. Food is ordered from the grocery store. Had a guacamole burger that was from the bulk freezer patty section that you would get for a backyard BBQ. The guacamole was the same as that plastic container "fresh" you pick up for a quick fix. If you're over 60 this place is perfect, mild seasoning, simple food. If you're looking for special and unique, don't do it.

It was ok. We stopped here on the way home after a day of hiking. We wanted a burger and fries and my boyfriend said the burger was pretty bad. I didn’t like the options for a burger so I got a wrap. Nothing to write home about. But this place was charming and would be fun with a group of friends sharing pitchers of beer and playing keno. Someday I’ll have friends. I’m giving it 4 stars for good measure but the food deserves 2.5-3.

Went for the lore, stayed for the food.the coffee here is GOOD. Like very good.I ordered the eggs benedict and was not disappointed. 1 order is definitely enough for 2 people, the portions are so generous. I was surprised by the amount of ham on my plate, as I had not expected them to put that much on there.I came in with a large group and the waitress was extremely accommodating, handling our 20 people with skill and kindness. If I find myself on the mountain again, this would be in my top 5 places to stop for food.

Giving 5 stars for everything has to meet a lot of criteria in my book, and this place has it all ! Quaint, old and cozy mountain cabin. Rustic charm. Although I didn't feel any ghosts, the stories say they are here. Breakfast on a Wednesday morning was quiet and peaceful. Our server, Kristen , was super friendly and fast. Linda was cooking ( for the last 20+ years ) and my biscuits and gravy were as good as any I've ever had.. even in southeastern Kentucky. The 1/2 order was huge ! As per my request, the bacon was crisp and definitely delicious. My other half had a ham and cheese omelet and potatoes... He ate every last bite even though he said it had 15 eggs..lolWe'll be back tomorrow for breakfast!Parking: Plus a they even have a Tesla charging station

Amazing place!! I will come again, I recommend anyone that’s wants good food well this is the place..the kids menu- the waitress and the menu should specify that the food on there are for ages 1-7 not aged for more older children. My kiddo got a waffle and it was just a half of a waffle.. they should let ppl know. Other than that amazing place.I want to give a shout out to are amazing wonderful waitress Brittanie E- Thank you so very much for everything. My Tito’s vodka strawberry lemonade was yummy and you did great. I appreciate you and keep up the good work!!Vegetarian options: Vegetables and saladsDietary restrictions: Depends.

Had dinner here a few days ago. The halibut fish & chips were very good along with the tarter sauce and coleslaw which was not too sweet, just the way I like it. My partner had the flat iron with potatoes, gravy and veggies. The steak was perfectly cooked and tasty, the potatoes too. The veggies were small and resembled your basic freezer veggies. We sat in the main dining area and the waitress was fantastic. Super nice and attentive, but not overly. My only gripe is the lighting, it is awful. It looks like their main source of lighting are bright spot lights attached to the ceiling facing down towards the small dining area onto table and booths where customers sit. It's super harsh and not relaxing at all. So much of the dining experience is the atmosphere, ambiance is important. I would highly suggest they look into some alternatives. Uplighting instead of down.I would still totally recommend giving them a troy.

Want to dine in a historic log cabin built in 1926 just at the foot of Mount Hood? If so this is the place for you. While it may not seem fancy on the outside, you’ll be surprised by the warm log cabin feeling inside. Food was great and our server Alley was awesome. She listened to some of our stories and she had some good ones too. She really made us feel at home as we had been traveling a long time that day. And again great food. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the French Dip sandwich both were excellent!

I have to say that this place blew my mind. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be back. I had the fish and chips, the wife had the baby back ribs. The Little one had the cheese burger and fries. First off, I have been a fan of fish and chips all my life, this place surprised me for how amazing the meal was. I highly recommend you trying this place. I will be back to try their breakfast. 9.4 out of 10.

We have dined here many times for many years and my husband always orders a small breakfast or from kids menu- new waitress this morning ridiculed him when he ordered it, started laughing and said , you’re not a kid very loud so others could hear and continued laughing while telling him absolutely not will I let you order a kids meal cuz your not a kid, but then she said, you are acting like one so maybe a will give it to you? Horrible service to a senior citizen- we all walked out and will never return - she was the worst we have ever encountered-

Wonderful fork tender chicken fried steaks, thick smooth country gravy and the best hash browns I have had in years. Not much from the outside but inside is warm and welcoming. The cabin has a fun history too.

We ate there a few times during our visit. Older historic and rustic setting. The service was great. The food was delicious. The Halibut may have been the best I have ever eaten.

Unfortunately, we never got served. No coffee, no water, just a hurried. I'm sorry and she never came back.We have been here before and have always been a busy madhouse. But this time, they were horribly understaffed with only 1 waitress in the dining room and one bartender in the lounge. Both were not really waitresses. Waited for 45 minutes and left.I actually felt sorry for them.

BEST SERVICE EVER! I'm from South Carolina, where there is a reputation for southern charm but this place has it in spades! Food is outstanding, fresh, hot and plentiful in portions. Great country cooking. Our waitress (if that's the term still used) was just amazing to the core. Fast, kind, knowledgeable... Everything you want in an experience. Would eat here regularly if I lived in Oregon!!!!

The service was great! Even for being short staffed, she was great! The food surprised us. We stopped at the only place we could find along our way and it didn't disappoint. From our table we watched the kitchen hand slicing bacon. Just imagine what else they prep back there. We will return for sure!

We had breakfast, the food was very good. Portions are huge, anything you can get "half size" or "single portion", do that! You'll still have extra to take home with you...

What a great place we had stumbled across. An adorable cottage like building, with a great history. Yes there was a brothel upstairs... Many years ago. Currently a great restaurant with quality home cooking. The staff will make you smile as their enthusiasm for life is contagious. Have dinner, then go back tomorrow for the Breakfast you will thank yourself.

I give the trail a 1 star review for the poor service in the bar, my husband and I rocked up to play games of pool and have lunch, and due to the severe poor service a server texting on her phone for 15 minutes, and then another server not greeting us but totally ignored us in 15 minutes, we left and their rivals on the mountain the big zag inn the server got a $25 tip than the clowns at the trail and for the owners ref the date was March 16th, clean house.
