This RV park was one of the best we have ever stayed at. It boasts a peaceful river side setting, beautifully and lovingly maintained grounds, spotless laundry facilities, and kind and helpful hosts. We originally intended to stay 6 nights to enjoy the area and for my husband and sons to go backpacking in the mountains. We encountered car trouble however, and had to rent a car, and wait 10 days for our car repair. This campground was so nice, that all of this did not seem like such an imposition. I want to mention the masterful gardens that are planted all around the RV park with a dazzling display of summers' bounty. I "dabble" in flower gardening myself and have to say that these gardens were the stuff I dream to create and they gave me so much joy. I would also like to mention that while my husband and sons were on their 3 day hike I needed to move the camper to another site because it had been previously booked for that day. I had no idea how to do anything to unhook or even drive the camper (my husband has always done this). The host was so extremely kind to me and not only went through the whole process of unhooking and moving, but taught my daughter and me how to do each step ourselves. What a great lesson that was for us and now we can be helpful if we ever come into a situation like this. I would recommend the RV park to anyone coming to the area for hiking, fishing and other adventures. It is a peaceful place with kind and helpful hosts that will be sure to make your stay memorable!

This place is beautiful. It is clean and very well kept. There is always someone out working on the place, and it shows. The staff is very friendly and informed. They were willing to help with any small problems you may have. We had a limb stuck in our awning and staff went and got a ladder to get it out. It's quiet and serene. Great views. River runs by the edge of the park, too.Walkability: The small town of Wallowa is within close walking distance with restaurants and stores.

We had stayed at this RV park 2 years ago and really liked the setting, especially the river running by it. When we returned this year we noticed how much care has been taken and this place was sparkling. So well taken care of, especially the flowers and Dana's beautiful gardens everywhere. Dave adds his own touches, making sure he greets everyone and is always there when you need him. What a difference these 2 have made on this property, you can tell they love this place and take pride in sharing it with others.

Neat little RV park on the river. The BEST camp hosts we've even encountered. Super clean restrooms. Near Joseph, OR and a nice little hiking trail. Great value!

The park is a great location to visit the area.Pros:Excellent staffSuper clean restrooms/showersAmazing river frontage in the first rowBeautiful common areasEasy to findCons:The sites are very tightOverall:You give up space at your sites for the awesome river common place. There is plenty of room to spread out and have your own area.We will be back for sure. The owners and staff are great to visit with and a wealth of information about the area!!

My husband and I and our three kids stayed here 3 nights with our travel trailer. It was one of our favorite spots so far. It’s very clean and quite, right by the river. The spots are spacious enough where it doesn’t feel crowded, and it was easy to park. The owners were so helpful and friendly. We would take day trips to the lake and after an eventful day it was nice to just come back to the camper and relax. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Stayed here Middle of June 2022. This private RV park is as good as it gets. Beautiful setting on the river, very clean restrooms, showers and laundry room and the staff are very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Best park in the whole country. Not only are there spectacular views on this riverfront property, the hosts really are what makes this place grand. Becky and Gordon welcomed me to the brand new world of RV’ing. I had just bought my vintage Avion and they took me in with open arms. This place is very beginner friendly. They both helped me learn how to hook up at site and all that it entails. This is a friendly place with plenty to see and do nearby. A lot of RV accessories are available to buy in office or Back Achers has it all for dirt cheap. Showers are clean, there’s a laundry faculty, and my favorite: a pop machine only 50cents. Don’t pass up on this place if you have a chance to stay

Nice RV park along the Wallows River. No tents except with an RV. Excellent bathrooms with flush toilets and showers. Clean!!! Laundry room for clothes washing on longer stays. Well behaved dogs and cats can stay with you. Nice pull-through sites with 20, 30, & 50 amp breakers. TV and Internet service available. Just across the bridge from downtown Wallowa. Get a map at the office detailing activities to visit during your stay. Great landscaping, fish right outside your rig. Reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here for the 2nd time recently and enjoyed it just as much as last year. The owner is very kind. The camp hosts are helpful, kind and do a wonderful job managing the park. The restrooms are always extremely clean as is the laundry area. Beautiful little grassy area to relax in right next to the river.

We recently stayed at Wallowa River RV Park with our hybrid travel trailer and it was a great experience. The pull through sites were well maintained and there was even an herb garden by our site. We enjoyed being near the river. The bathrooms were the nicest we’ve seen in any RV park so far! The hosts Dave and Dana were very professional and helpful.

What a nice park and we stayed a month. The hosts were so friendly. All thru the park are flowers the owner has planted. The green space next to the river is so inviting with benches to sit on. The laundry was small but did the job just fine. The only negative is that the spaces are a bit tight but that comes from being an older park. There was still room to sit outside our RV. If we return to the area this is where we will stay.

We stayed here a month and a half. Very nice owners and great camp hosts! Laundry facility is nice (has utility sink) and there are men's and women's bathrooms with showers. Wallowa river is next to the park and that makes it a nice setting. Old train tracks you can go walk on. Trains don't come thru anymore but sometimes electric train cars (they are small and box shape) come down the tracks. We can't wait to come back next year. Wallowa has its special small town charm. They have a cute 4th of July parade that the owners participate in. Highly recommend!

Very accommodating staff, always asked if they could do more. The reason for 4 stars is the layout of the park, my front door is my neighbors sewer dump...doesn't really make me want to use the picnic table so much. Bring DVDs, cable is not really viable and internet is not available, at least not streaming. But other than those issues, it is in a good location to explore the area.Unfortunately, we have to depart early due to a health issue with our older dog, but he is getting better.

Nicely maintained small park on the Wallowa River. Lots of colorful flowers and mowed grass areas. Gravel roads are norrow and many spaces are short making it a challenge for bigger rigs. Riverfront is beautiful with several benches. Water is swift so keep an eye on kids and pets. Dog friendly. Great cable TV and wifi. We will be back.

This is a great little RV park. Very well maintained, excellent service, very good Wi-Fi, and very good cell service (AT&T). Bathrooms are some of the nicest you will find at any RV park. Right next to the Wallow River with nice benches to enjoy!

We visited Wallowa RV Park on August 14 and 15 2015. This was our second visit since discovering it last year. We love the location (on the river), the park is very pretty with many flowers and green grass, public areas very clean and well stocked, and the location is quiet. The only complaint is the WiFi service or lack there of. I was not able to connect to wifi for the 2+ days staying here. Our friends had intermittent wifi connection. Today, wifi is as important to RV'ers as location, and other amenities.

Very nice, the sites are a bit close especially for RVs with slides. Friendly staff. Laundry on site, didn't use restrooms or showers.
