What is with the pricing and staff at this location? I have the App. on my phone, and could find the item, but the valid digital coupon on the shelf would not show up on the App. anywhere. I asked the cashier for help. She stated she was new, went and found someone else, they managed to discount the item, but still did not match the coupon. As it was only 20 cents, I apologized for the hassle, took my items and left.Right after I walked out the door a woman ran after me. She stated, “next time you come in, could you not use foul language with my cashier? Dumbfounded, I asked what she was talking about. She said the new cashier stated I used the ‘F’ word. I told her it never happened, I don’t use that kind of language. I further told her I was contacting their corporate office for the false accusation.I contacted Dollar General, reported the incident, asked them to review the cashier video, which will clearly show I was polite in every way. This accusation is uncalled for, and the cashier making this false statement needs to be addressed. I will never set foot in another Dollar General.

This store has NO outside lights that work at the front entrance, my 78 year old mother fell off the steps due to NO lighting. At 5:30pm on Nov 18th it’s very dark outside. Corporate and the store manager have been told the lights Don’t work. The lights still don’t work even after an elderly person has falling and got injured. Please don’t allow your elderly family members to vist this store after dusk. Shame on Dollar General for not keeping its store well lighted at dark.

If I could give this place a .5 out of 5 star, I would. They don’t even deserve the 1 star. Always rude, lines are insane, manager is ignorant, no one stocks the shelves or cleans the floor, music is too loud, and most of all- the employees don’t seem to love their job. Disappointed, honestly.

The store is regularly closed due to "issues" for whatever reason on almost a weekly basis. Manager forgot their keys, registers are never working, short staffed. Whatever it is they have some excuse of a sign on their doors for why they are closed. D.G. needs to fix whatever the problems are and help this town out.

I go to Dollar general when I’m in a hurry and it takes like 5 minutes and it has pretty high quality when it comes to food and clothes the toys aren’t the best but they occupy kids and they love them. I highly recommend going here.

Seems like this location just churns through staff, but they've done a great job hiring good people. Store is always clean, well stocked, and carries a good selection with fair variety. If it wasn't for the absolute slowest checkout times I've ever experienced anywhere, they would get a full five stars from me.

So much stuff crammed into such a tiny store! It’s cheap and you’ll likely find whatever it is you’re looking for. I stopped by twice while I was in town and the staff was friendly and I found all the little personal items, food, and and other things I was looking for. It’s small and aisles are narrow. Since I’ve been living the COVID life for so long it felt really uncomfortable at first.

Nice little store with a little bit of everything. Very clean and the staff that I've seen there have been pleasant. Some items are cheaper than other stores, while some are at or above the cost elsewhere. I don't believe the name fits the store. Think of Dollar General more like a mini Walmart, not Dollar Tree. Can be a quick stop if you already know what you're going in for. I'll definitely be shopping here again.

Probably the worse one I’ve ever been too. So dirty and definitely NOT wheel chair accessible. Almost every aisle was blocked by carts full of products and trash. Will not be back.

This place is busy and hard to keep the shelves fully stocked - but the employees do a good job in trying to keep up with the challenge. Friendly and helpful is my only type of experience here. Saving money is always helpful too. Thanks Dollar General

Dollar General is generally awesome. This place has almost everything you need and stuff you really don't but get anyways. If you don't want to make a trip to a Target or Walmart, the Dollar General is perfect to hold you over until you do. The one in Waldport Oregon is the best one I've been to. Maybe it's because I'm from California and I'm on vacation when I come here several times a year, but I enjoy this place.

It's fairly convenient.. Sometimes the line is too long and I turn around and walk out.... Good prices on beer if you like warm beer.. They have a small beer cooler and it's usually empty... But I'm happy to have an option in our little town....

This store has all sorts of things you may need in stock, but the employees are just plain rude. There are 1 or 2 of them that are nice, but the other ones refuse to talk. I also think they should hire a bilingual employee to work at the cashier.

Very nice people working there, but customers ignore social distancing and face mask policies, and this puts everyone, especially people behind the counter, at risk. Customers stand in line, some with masks and some without, and are typically a foot or two apart. There should be marks on the floor to direct people where to stand and signs on the door about the need for masks. It really felt like everyone for him/herself in there, so I turned around and left. Management and customers should be doing much more.

Terrible. Ripped my fiance off for $30 phone card and refused to refund. Contacted AT&T and confirmed it was DG's fault and the staff still refused to refund. Unapologetic staff, creepy manager. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It had the things we were looking for, at a reasonable price. It needs to be noted that this is not a dollar store, but is a shuttle which sells things at reasonable prices. Other stores with the word'dollars in their name have a maximum price of one dollar, not Dollar General. This site does have reasonable prices, though.

These people are like elves in the night stocking shelves with Xmas goodies 1 day after Halloween..I am impressed with all of them, Janice is a rock star..so is Linda..I wish I knew everyone's namesThank you for working so diligently during the "rona" and all of that..you guys are so appreciated 👍👏👏

Unfortunately, not a reliable FedEx drop off. Due to not notifying FedEx of my express/overnight package, the pick up day was 4 days after I dropped off the package. In cases of express / overnight or otherwise urgent deliveries, I would recommend find any other drop off point.

Helpful staff, good selection, sale items are much cheaper than the already low prices. It's NOT a dollar store, so you can't expect to go in and see everything for just a dollar, it's mostly name brand stuff at discount prices. Still way cheaper than anywhere in town, I'm willing to bet.

We stopped at the Dollar General while on vacation thinking we can get some cheap food. Decided to get TV dinners which were a hair more expensive than normal when we got back we found out they were only half the size and a little more expensive so not too happy here

Wasn't impressed with store. Lot of empty shelves. And when I asked if they had anymore walnuts, associate stated, "oh we have more but, Im not about to go in back and look, because I'm busy. " needless to say there was was only one other customer besides me in the store.

On one hand it's sad this national chain store put a blight on a small town but in their favor they have a good selection and very reasonable prices. The store is rather small, especially the aisles and walk way's so navigating with a cart or stroller is very difficult.

Messiest store I have ever seen. Shelves and refrigerators have not much on or in them. However, carts with lots of stuff on them, including cardboard and other junk, block many of the aisles where the merchandise should be, but isn't. How does anyone run a business this way?

It's a store. One you can't pull stuff off of the shelf that's worth a dollar or an alarm sounds. I was going to buy some vent fresheners but couldn't grab it myself. It was ALL the way on the other end of the store. I was not going to go ask the one cashier to unlock it and make 3 trips. They even lock up deodorant and shampoo. And the Manager doesn't want to hire people with leadership skills because she might get replaced.

So, I went to the store today. When I got to the check out counter and told the cashier that the music was really really loud and it hurt my ears. Her response was, "well, I know I can't work as well without music can you?" She ignored what I had to say! Just kept saying that they, the workers, don't work as well without the music and how well do YOU work without music because I can't. She had No empathy to the fact that I have tinnitus in my ears and loud sounds hurt my ears. She just said it was just the song that was playing. But the next song was just as loud and that's just how it is. NO consideration for her customers!! If people like that work there I will NEVER shop there again.I thought the customers were most important but not to her. I live in Waldport Oregon which is a very small community and we depend on the store but with cashier like that.... not good..

This town needed another option for shopping. The only competitor in town price gouges the local people because it had no competition.Since Dollar General opened I have not shopped at the competition and will not until there price strategy represents the local economic situation. Low paying part time jobs here.

It's like a little slice of home, but with an ocean view! I visit this store every time I pass through town. The staff is great and the store is always very clean.
