I came in alone and was welcomed by the waitress. She was super friendly and service was so fast. The coffee and food was so good, the pancakes are fluffy and perfect. The chicken fried steak served here is the best one I’ve had. The eggs were perfect too. Everything was so yummy! The prices were low which was surprising, I’m going to bring my husband here.

If you've ever gone through vida and have not tried the Vita Cafe you're really missing out. It is a family-owned business Dad's the cook and a great one Mom's the waitress and the Son cleans the tables.Their breakfast are incredible I love to go every Saturday morning.My favorite for lunch there is everything. Mom bakes all the goodiesIt is very small but it is more than worth the wait to get in. So if you're going up the river don't forget to stop at the Vita Cafe you will not be disappointed. They make you feel like family.tell them Gail say hi 👋🏻Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to really enjoy it when they're there too.

Best restaurant breakfast I’ve had in a long time!! Chicken fried steak was huge with a delightfully crispy crust and well seasoned. The pancakes are always great here. My home fries skillet was delicious. The home fries were crispy yet nice and creamy inside. Vida Cafe’s homemade gravy covered the plate! I’m coming back again!

My Family was visiting the Eugene area and staying in a home along the McKenzie River in Vida. We stopped for breakfast at the Vida Cafe which was one of the recommendations for local dining from our host; it was one of the best meals we had that week! The day was raining & there was a 15 minute wait, and the owner Kelly offered to have us wait in our car & she came out into the rain herself when our table was ready. On our last day out of town we stopped again & she has her husband, the chef, make our daughter an extra special pancake that she requested. Great food, lovely owners, and don’t skip on a slice of Kelly’s fresh-baked pie! We had the Lemon Marionberry…Delicious!

The worst customer service in my life. Dont go if you have over 4 people. My husband myself and our 2 teens and 2 children went to have breakfast today for fathers day. I even called in advance to make sure they were open and available. We drove from an hour away because we heard the food was great. Immediately upon arriving we were told because they were full they would seat 4 of us until more space was available and the others could wait in the car. My 2 teens were ok with that. We were waiting for another table to come available and the waitress told us we had to order food and that we couldn't wait and that if our kids wanted to eat they could eat separate from us. She said we weren't allowed to order at the same time or sit together. What a joke. I asked if our littles could sit on our lap and she said no. Not worth the trip ruined breakfast.. I wouldn't go back if somone paid me to. Its ok ikes pizza got 130.00 this morning and the pizza was great, great customer service, right down the road with enough room for everyone. Honestly I hope the owner sees this and is ashamed of how she treated us in front of everyone.

This is our go to breakfast/lunch place when we go to the cabin. The food here is amazing and so are the drinks! Yes, actually alcoholic beverages here!! The owner is so kind and amazing! This community has been through yet they just continue to go strong!! The food is out of this world good no matter what you order. They are open until 2pm so make this a stop if you are going through there. You will not regret it!!!

We drive from Beaverton to Bend several times a year. Sometimes we go via the McKenzie river route, mainly so that we can have lunch at the Vida Cafe. That tells you how good we think the food is! My wife especially likes the chowder. Its a small place but often fills up at lunch time, which is good (I want them to stay in business). Try it, you'll like it.

Perfect breakfast! Was about 20 miles into a 55 mile cycling day, and #1 was exactly what I would have ordered a la carte.
