Wow love this park best one in Vale clean.bathrooms and showers on sitethe staff are wonderfulAnd speaking from personal experience this RV park is the only Park I've stayed at in this town that I haven't had my trailer either broken into when I wasn't home or parked stolen off of recommended 100% if you're going to stay in Vale Oregon this RV park is perfect

This place was suitable for the 1 night stay we had. However train tracks run right behind the park as well as a road. Seemed runned and people living there have clutter around making it unsightly

The campground is small, but clean and easy to navigate. Be sure to drive the side streets in Vale to see the murals about the early settlers and the different ethnic groups that traveled the Oregon Trail.

Absolutely the nastiest RV park we’ve ever stayed at. While the grounds are acceptable. There is a ton of semi traffic, vehicle traffic and train traffic. The bathrooms were not clean nor cleaned at any point over the two days we spent there. You could roll in after dark, exhausted, with full black tanks, completely out of water and need power….and you should keep driving! 🤮

I can understand being in a small town the fact that the proprietors of this establishment require a background check on its tenants but, just because you perform a background check on people does not mean you're going to get high-quality individuals as tenants IMO.24 hours at this location and I decided it was not for me, too expensive and too crowded, no thanks and I gave two stars because it would be a nice place if they would update it to the current century. Old, dilapidated and sad, don't pay to stay here,,unless you are Despacito lol keep on trucking friends, just my two pence ..

Grateful we were able to stay on a monthly basis for a few months. Hookups were great. Location good. Be mindful it's tight next to working train tracks. They don't run constant and when running we weren't overwhelmed by the noise. The trains run slow. Every Wednesday there is a livestock auction that's just behind the park. You can hear the auctions and sometimes they go pretty late into the night. We were here in late winter so we didn't smell anything from the stock yards, not sure how it is on the heat of summer. The park is aging and showing wear and tear. It's advertised online as a resort. Not sure why. There's nothing extra about this park. The bath house is old and needs some repairs. The showers aren't cleaned regularly. Take your own extra towel to use for a bathmat. The office staff was always friendly and professional when I visited the office to pay.

Pull through site wasn't because the permanent resident in the next site used my egress as a parking spot. Large aggressive dog lunged at me and my puggle from a shed built onto a permanent resident site. Rope didn't allow him to reach us, but it was frightening. I won't be back.

Our basic needs for water, sewer & 50 amp power were met. Other than that, the laundry & restroom/showers were not very clean. The couple caretaking it are very nice, just seem to need more help.

I'm giving 5 stars instead of 4 because they were accommodating and the host was very apologetic and nice. There's nothing like calling in the morning and being assured a space, driving 7+ hours to arrive and find out that, due to circumstances, the spot you were getting isn't available. The host met us when we arrived with our 40 foot and explained and apologized, but offered us a spot next to the shop. It has power and water and that's all we really wanted in an overnighter. Honestly it was a relief that they had a backup option because otherwise they'd have been completely full and we'd have had to have driven another hour at the least. I'm happy to have a spot at all, and she gave us a discount.

We had a great experience on the week we spent there for a wedding and family get together. Linda was working the office and was a great host.

My husband I were heading to Ontario, Oregon to see friends and needed a place to rest for the night; before meeting up with them. We called and Corrina (I hope I spell this correct) was so amazing! She told us that she only had one spot left and we were able to secure the site! Thankfully! It was so hot outside and all we wanted to do is stop for the day! Thank you again! We are so very grateful. Jim and Linda e Post Falls, Idaho.

We stopped and spent the night at this park. They were very accommodating, and park very quiet. We felt the entire town looked tired. We felt a few gallons of paint, would freshen up all. On sites where people live, might put up tool sheds to keep items inside. One RV had way too much stuff on the outside. Should not allow too much on outside. Also, a little work on the grass would help too.

Easy in and out. Spaces are small. Train tracks are about 30 feet from the edge of the park. Facility maintenance is uneven. Camp host is very friendly.

Nice rural park. Friendly staff. A bit dated and not well suited to 35+ Class A w toads unless you have an AC power extension and 50' water hose. Sites are gravel and a bit uneven. Waste connection was above the site level making it a little difficult.

One space only 20 amp electrical service, and I got it. There are 30 and 50 amp pedestals available.Four spaces no sewer, they're normally saved for overnighters.Electricity isn't metered. Water pressure is good and tastes good to me. Monthly renters are asked to water the grass at their site. I use a timer to shut the water off after a few minutes automatically. This was the only place I could find space in the area when I made my reservation many weeks ago, and they made space for three RVs while we're working in the area. $450/month. Fact is they could have simply said "Sorry, no monthlies" at the time, but they didn't. Everyone else in the Ontario area just told us "no space".The owners are very nice and responsive. When I had a problem with the electricity (the breaker tripped for the circuit my space was at, I'm not sure why) at almost 10pm, they answered the phone (they never told me when I checked in that they would answer the phone day or night, and they deserve recognition for being available and responsive) and resolved the issue quickly. That and other things have changed my original review and brought my rating up.

Very friendly staff. Next to the historic Oregon railroad. You see evidence of the railroad on your approach from the west, even the tunnel. They operate during the day in town so no noise at night. A few full time tenants could use a shed versus everything piled outside. A little confusing coming in and going to your site, but plenty of room to make an adjustment. Great LP fill location.

We camped for one night. My husband found the men's bathrooms to be terrible. The women's bathrooms were OK. The woman at the checking desk wore no mask (this is Oregon!) When another person asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask she said that she chose not to. She also knew nothing about the murals in town. This tiny city has all these very cool murals. I recommend that visitors take time and do a walking tour to view them.

My expectations were low when booking, but I did not expect to deal with a strong sewer smell when checking in. The smell outside was so bad (outside of space 12) we had to leave and find other place to stay. I asked the manager and she admitted that she was used to the smell and others have complained about it in the past. I politely asked her for a refund. She said she would get back to me. Never heard back. If I were you, I would avoid this place and stay in Ontario or Burns.

Went to get propane, some dude working there wearing a belt with plastic bullets in it treated the person before me and myself like we were only there to cause problems and was very short tempered and nasty. Do not go here for anything

We stopped for one night but wished we could stay longer! This is a great park! The owners are so friendly that you'd think you knew them for years! Loved it! The beautiful trees (that are trimmed high! Yeah, nice!), the lowing of the cows and cooing of the doves made the whole experience so relaxing! I would give this park 100 stars! Lol!

Very friendly. Next to historical Oregon East railroad, which apparently only operates during the day, as no noise at night. A little complicated on how to get to your site, but easy to negotiate the approach. Very easy to get to propane tank if you need to top off.

Easy pull through sites...full hook-ups. A little expensive. No fire rings, WiFi was not working and cable TV was fuzzy...good for a quick stay...nothing to do in the area. Dog walking area was stone, no grass for them to walk on. Campground borders railroad tracks and a livestock yard. Luckily, there were very few cows over there. Smell was extremely minimal from the yard, and fortnately did not have any train come through. Not sure if it's a working rail as we only stayed one night. Shower house is clean and smelled good. I would suggest if only staying a day or two....otherwise no.

If you appreciate the review, please give it a "Like" so I know I'm not wasting my time.Super hosts! Very nice and extremely accommodating. Pull thru was too short to keep the Toad attached but the hosts TRIED HARD! It was my choice to detach to avoid inconvenience to others. Nice place, a bit snug for bigger units (we're 37 + Toad), trees are AWESOME but add to the precision parking.

This is a small, clean RV park in the quaint little town of Vale, Oregon. Definitely worth a small side trip if you're headed in this direction. There are numerous murals of early Oregon on buildings throughout the town. Gretchen, the mgr. of the RV park was very friendly and even spotted us into our spot. Awesome service! Even has a leash off pet area.

The price is low ($28 w/Good Sam or AAA) but the quality and friendliness makes this a top rated RV park. For only $28 we didn't expect much, but the sites are spacious with grass between, and the owners are so accommodating. We didn't get here until almost 8pm and they waited for us to arrive which was well past their normal closing time at the office. Highly recommend. We stayed here in a 38 foot 5th wheel and will do so again.

We had a great experience staying here. We got in on short notice and had a lovely spot. We had some truck issues on the way into town and the staff were super helpful with getting us the help we needed to continue on the road. Will definitely stay again when we pass through!

Very nice owner/managers. Helped us park in our spot and set up. They have a fenced pet area with chairs. Tall trees for shade but could really use some more grass.Spaces are leveled and have cable connections and free wifi.

New owners....working on improvementsVery pleasant - clean - pull thru sites. 2 blocks from grocery store. Great overniter. Next to RR tracks, but it was quiet at night. Could smell the nearby stockyard, but not overpowering. Would stay again.

These people are extremely rude. They told us we couldn't stay there for a long period of time because our camper wasnt nice enough and then kicked my family and I out because of my dog. The bathrooms are disgusting and never cleaned.

What a refreshing retreat after dealing with Country Campground. Moved here within an hour. Clean, spacious and safe. $35 for 30 amp and water. Best deal if you are headed West. If headed East, go to the Ambassador RV Park.
