This is a great little store in Union. Family owned with good customer service. The owner is a sincerely nice person and is always friendly and upbeat. They carry a great variety of items at at fair price. They have a meat counter in the back that carries excellent cuts of beef, pork and chicken. Saves us many trips to town for items we need for spur of the moment meals. The owner understands I am disabled and have a broken immune system. He doesn’t make fun or negative comments about our having to wear surgical masks during the winter. The owner is also very kind and respectful to my daughter that has Autism. Great place to support locally. Thanks Union Market, we are thankful for your presence in town.

I find it funny that I went into this market today and seen a handful of people that didn’t have a mask on and when I got up to the counter I got singled out getting told I was going to get a lecture about not wearing one. Also I have seen a couple employees without masks on as well so is something going to be done about them or is it fine for them not to wear one. Oh well Mikes Market has lost my business

A family owned market where the service can't be beat. Cannot be beat on the quality and price of its meat, it's the only place we buy our meat. The bulk sausage especially, omg, the best we've ever had. We do 2/3rd of our shopping here.

The butcher shop located in the store's rear area could not provide better assistance or service. They were always eager to provide world-class primal cut of meat, specialized sausage production, and traditional small town family-run business charm.

With the covid19 yes people need to have masks on UNLESS they have a medical reason or too young well my husband has medical reasons that makes him not ok to have one on and a employee told him he had to have a mask on or leave. Why is it every one in the surrounding stores know they 100% cant do that but yall think you can?
