Nice store. Deceiving from the outside but when you enter the store you see it’s fairly large with well stocked shelves. The isles are clear and floors are immaculate . Shelves are well-stocked and organized. Pretty decent selection of meats but a very good selection of wines. Prices are not outrageous and affordable. When I entered the store today there were several people in line with full shopping carts. With all five checkers open they cleared the crowd in no time. The staff gives you that family atmosphere. I don’t live in this area but if I did I would be a regular customer.

Depending on which cashier you get, you'll either feel like an inconvenience or a welcome guest. Carmen is a nice lady. She was kind and inviting. She was quick to get me rang up. The food selections are good, meaning I found what I normally would buy.

I love Harvest Foods. The store is always very clean, the produce always looks perfecting good quality! It's really the only place we buy our meat. Most everyone there is friendly and helpful

I would give it a half star if I could..prices are astronomically high compared to stores like Walmart and Safeway. Even though it's the only actual grocery store in umatilla, there is no reason for the majority of their prices to be as high as they are.. in my opinion, they are price gouging.. I try to only go there for a few items I absolutely need like milk or sara Lee bread..and sometimes their meat is on sale like hamburger or steaks..some of their store names canned items are a decent price compared to wm or SW.. their frozen foods are quite expensive.. moreso than we and many items are even more expensive then SW too.. a few examples.. they want around $10 for a regular tub of their store brand oatmeal.. wm gv brand is only $3.98 and sw brand is $4.49( cheaper if I have rewards or coupons).. I can get about 8 roma tomatoes at SW for around $2.70, wm I can get 8 roma tomatoes for around $2.40.. but at columbia harvest foods, they charge 2.69/lb for romas and 8 romas come up to almost,if not over $12.. that is ridiculous... Also harvest foods charge $10 for a regular size container of mayo where wm charges between $3.35-$4.88 for same size and sw charges between $4.99 and $5.49 for same size... I went into harvest foods and got some stuff for spaghetti ( not even stuff for homemade spaghetti..but canned sauces,etc and veggies for a regular green salad) and it all came out to almost $90.. I about fell to the floor and died because it was so expensive.. when I got home, I looked up on me and sw all the items I bought at harvest foods i had bought for spaghetti dinner and I couldn't believe the big price difference.. for those same items at wm, I would have only paid around $47.. at SW,I would have paid around $56.. if i would of had my car the day I got stuff for spaghetti, i woukd have gone to wm in hermiston.. even with using gas to drive there and back home, i still would have saved almost $40.. the only employee I like at harvest foods is Joyce.. she is always nice to me.she greets me as i come into the store, she asks how my day is and she wishes me a good day as i leave the store. I find all the other employees to be rude and condescending.. there is one female employee there who wasn't polite.. I went there to get some milk,cheese,soda,and I got a pack of hamburger that was on sale and a deli sandwich for my son's lunch. I get to her register( the middle register )and the first thing she says to me( loud enough that the customer on both the right and left register could hear her as well as the lune of people standing in line behind me) was " are you paying for all of this with food stamps?.. first off, she didn't greet me like good afternoon how are you? Did you find everything ok?? It was are you buying all this with food stamps.. second, how I buy my food is neither any of her business nor is it the business of .other customers in the store... I was quite irritated with not only her asking me that question when I find it uncalled for and I was irritated with her attitude. So I told her no I am not I'm paying cash. I thought maybe the card machine was down so I asked her and she said no. So I asked her that if I were paying with food stamps does it matter? Do you ask all your customers that or just ones who look like me?( I was wearing sweats and a white T-shirt which both were a little dirty as I was helping my husband work on the car and I took a break long enough to go to the store).. this isn't first time the employees had bad attitude about a customer ..

Clean grocery store with decent amount of options. Prices are a little steep. Staff is always helpful and friendly (aside from one EXTREMELY rude older lady)... I wouldn't include her in my review if it weren't for the fact that I've had multiple instances I've witnessed her being extremely rude and unpleasant to me and other customers.

A small local store that provides good meat and produce sales when advertised. You can also redeem your lottery tickets inside. There are kiosks outside the front entrance to redeem recyclable plastic, glass, and aluminum bottles and cans. You can also dump cardboard, glass, and newspaper at designated dumpsters to the left of the store. The owners and staff are awesome and provide quality service!

Love Harvest Foods. I would much rather shop here than anywhere in the area. They always have fully stocked shelves and a great meat department. There produce is always fresh and fair priced.

This local grocery store is my go-to store when I need to pick up a few items and don't want to deal with the crowd at the bigger stores. They are always extremely helpful. I can usually find everything I'm looking for.

This place is known for the huge cowboy that sits along side the road out front. Been there as long as I can remember. It's always been a fun place to stop at. While traveling to see family. In Irrigon, Pendleton, & Portland. It's not ever outta my way to make a quick stop there. 😊

Very nice service. Store interior needs a very thorough cleaning. The walls and ceilings are covered with cobwebs and dust and creates a very unappealing environment. Prices are very high and quality is okay. It would be nice to support a more local business like this, but it just doesn't make the cut. I would go again if we were driving by and needed something, but I will not do my normal shopping here.

For a smaller size grocery store, you can get a lot of what you may need day-to-day. The staff are very nice. The French Bread from their bakery is to die for. No need to go to larger cities 95% of the time . prices are about average for most Things. And their weekly sale ads have some very good products to offer at a great price

My favorite store..I come from Hermiston for a weekly visit esp on Mondays 10% off. Prices are competitive with excellent weekly specials. Very pleased with the quality of meat and poultry offered at reasonable prices. Because of the small size of the store and their great service, you can make a quick purchase and be out in 5 min. Love it. Thanks!

This store does have fresh fruits and vegetables. The meat selection is pretty fresh as well. One day a week they have good sales on meat that is discounted. The prices for everything in the store is absolutely outrageously high. Especially for Wal-Mart being only 9 miles away. They worst thing about this store is the staff. It seems like a job requirement to work at this store is that must not be nice. The staff makes this store one that i go to only if i have to.

Small grocery store with a deli. Prices are what you expect from a small store, little high but not unreasonable. Strangest checkout layout i have ever seen, no where to place your groceries. Friendly cashiers.

I went there to cash in cans mind you I got there at eight twenty I went up to the machines they were off so I go inside to find out what time it closes she says nine when the store closes I said ok cool so I go out and tell the kid who has not started cleaning them hey she inside says these dont close till nine he says I have to clean this area after I'm done you can return your cans so I wait there for him to clean it up half way thru him cleaning he asks me to move so I moved then ten minutes later some lady comes out and says we are closing in 5 minutes mind you its 8:49 needles to say I wasted what little gas to turn in my cans so I could get more gas so i could make it to work just to turn around and go home empty handed thanks alot for nothing

It's your everyday run of the mill grocery store. That whoever sets the prices for lives on Mars. It isn't cheap, if you don't need to go here. I wouldn't.People taking out a loan just to get some PB&J.

It's a nice little family store I like their meat.. I will probably do more shopping there than usual because I just dumped Walmart they're getting to be a really crummy store I don't like self-service and their self-service just took up about 75% of their room I had to wait 15 minutes in a line to get check out with my groceries among other things over the last couple of years I've had to discontinue about 3 items and go to Costco to get them because the quality is so bad at Walmart now..

I usually love this place but today I had the worst service along with the checker forgetting to put one of my bags in my cart. I then called harvest foods to notify them to let them know what happened only for the lady over the phone to be rude and a big smartass to me about the whole situation!! She then tried to tell me they apologized for the situation when nobody said any kind of apology!!! I know how it is working in customer sevice,so I get that some customers are rude and out of line, which I'm not one of those customers unless I'm having to deal with a rude employee. It's sad about how some people address certain situations. You should work on how you deal with certain situations as this was a terrible experience for me!!

They have a well rounded supply of products. Monday's are senior citizen days. It's small and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can also bring your cans here.

Love this grocery store! Not too big where one gets disoriented walking down an isle, yet large enough that they carry what you came for. Value, quality are supreme and you cannot beat that service.
