Great food! It was a limited menu due to the races, so we had to adjust some of what our kiddos wanted. The pulled pork had really good flavor. The Bloody Mary was very good as well. It was really busy that day with the lawn mower races, so it took a bit of time to get our food, but the waitress did her best to keep up.

Came in with a massive group of adventurers and they let us move some tables to accommodate us. The food was pretty good, I really enjoyed my friend pickle spears. Artichoke dip was tasty too.No complaints from our group, they handled us like champs and we had a great time resting here after being out in the woods.I would go back and visit again.

Arrived at 745pm on Tuesday (they close at 10). Sat ourselves and got menus after 10 minutes sitting. We order drinks, then by about 810 we've ordered our food through the host. We sit for almost 35-40 min, and then he comes up and tells us he's sorry but the cook closed the kitchen for the night and there will be no food made for our party of 4. Keep in mind we ordered almost 2 hours before closing and were told no food over an hour before closing. Giving two starts because the guy was apologetic and did comp our drinks and I could tell it was out of his control, but it's shown in other reviews this is a chronic issue of them shutting down prior to closing.If you go here apparently you can only eat prior to sunset, at a bar and grill.....

I've had everything on the menu, and I haven't eaten anything I'd order again. The food's horrible. I spent $30 on the rib eye and it was unseasoned, not even salt and pepper. There's always at least one ingredient missing, or it's under/over cooked.If Syd's not working, I'm not staying. She's the only one capable of anything.Almost every time I'm there, I see people sit for up to 20 minutes being ignored before giving up and walking out.The makeover is nice, but more attention needs to be paid to food and service, especially for the prices.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant multiple times. Last year it was under different ownership and it was an okay experience. We came up here last week 4/11/23 and had an amazing dinner and the waitress was amazing and everything was awesome.We came in last night 4/18/23 and it was a different waitress then last week and we came in at 8 PM and didn’t get menus or anything for 20 minutes. Then the waitress we had last night said they were out of a lot of stuff which I get, I work in a restaurant too. But she gave us menus and came back a couple minutes later and said the cook turned the grill and everything off and could only do fried foods… it was 8:30 pm and they closed at 9… I really wanted to try one of the sandwiches but had to get chicken strips instead. Then we ate our food and got check on once by our waitress and then didn’t see her again for half an hour. My husband finally had to go up to the bar to get her attention so we could pay for the food and leave.We have a hit and miss whenever we come to this restaurant, it’s always pretty good food. But customer service could be a little better and maybe waiting until at least 5-10 minutes before closing to turn all kitchen appliances off so customers who come in and don’t want fried food get stuck with having to order fried food.Parking: Nice big open parking lot for lots of vehiclesWheelchair accessibility: There weren’t any steps or hard areas for wheelchairs to get into.

Stayed the weekend at the golf course. Lucky enough to see the "Jager bums" while we were there!Hard working staff and a pleasure to be there every time we're in town!The entire town (the whole 2 blocks) is worth a trip.Also, go to the Pine Hollow recreation area! LOVE the people and that area!!

They were out of a few things (no sun tea = sacrilege). The menu prices are atrocious but specials are great so...The Wimpy Burger special is exactly what it sounds like, a cheeseburger with nothing, upgrades available. The fried okra was not terrible, which means better than expected. A lot of places just can't even.I spent $20 with a tea and a cocktail.Ownerer, put a curry sauce next to that ranch sauce, would you?

Food was ok. My husband and I had the Shrimp which was good, but we were not crazy about the little cold vegetable dish that was served with it. Our kids had the Stockyard Cheeseburger and they enjoyed them, but weren’t crazy about the fries. I had a small green salad which was good. Our only set back was it took us 45 minutes to get our food. We were told it was because the hamburgers take a long time to cook (they are big). It was not busy when we were there so we were surprised it took that long. I love the atmosphere. They did a great job in the remodel.

The service was okay but the waiter seemed to try and argue with us in a polite way whenever we complained about the food, which most of it was overcooked. Speaking of which when we try to bite into the chicken wings it was like biting into a rock, hell I bet if I could use one of those chicken wings as a hammer. The fries looked like they've been in the fryer all day, and the two steaks that my family had ordered were meant to be medium rare and ended up being almost well done. One other thing a family member of mine ordered a drink and never got it and they still tried to charge him for it. One last thing the place was almost empty and it still took them almost an hour to bring us our food. The only reason I don't give it one star is because the place was clean. Either way I don't recommend this place to anyone, don't come here if you don't want overcooked food and argumental service.

We have been here 4 times for Taco Tuesday which is awesome. Today went for dinner, grass car menu, not so awesome. I had the BBQ pork sandwich which was hard, tasted rubbery like it had set all day in the pot. The service took forever, but its hard to beat the great margaritas. In fairness we will be back for taco Tuesday but . . . not sure about the dinner hpur.

We haven't gone to the sportsmans pub for a while. Corona could of been to blame. But even before that we didn't go to much. We love the Stockyard and I would like to say, they need baked potatoes and some kind of desserts also seafood like a good fried Halibut dinner also with baked potatoes and maybe a crab leg night. But mostly, all the staff is so friendly and the bar has very beautiful cowboy decor . We love it ❤

First time in since the new ownership. Great changes. Drink was nice n strong. Food was all good amounts. Owners were there, sort of friendly but didn't care at all about supporting local farmers/growers. Live band was alot of sound check.

Perfect spot for a bar, restaurant, and a lawnmower race track that draws race crews throughout the entire U.S.Under new ownership, Geoff and Valerie have turned around this once dark, closed-in and all around slow environment into an open and bright restaurant and bar. The vibe was perf.Great drinks, yummy food and was prompt. Delivered by warm friendly faces, I felt welcome here.

My wife and I stopped for dinner before the grass cut races Saturday night September 4th. We had shrimp and fries and fishing fries as well as some pizza and everything was excellent! The individual who cooked our pizza was from Hawaii and after us ordering a Hawaiian pizza he made a point to do an awesome job and even signed the pizza box! Wonderful foods of all kinds! If you're driving through or driving by and you're hungry this is the place to stop!

Great atmosphere!! They have 5 video poker machines. 2 pool tables. During the spring and summer months they periodically will have lawnmower races, which is a huge treat to watch!! Some of the greatest steaks(we're talking HUGE) you will ever eat on a Friday or Saturday. A knowledgeable staff to make any mixed drink you want. The servers, cooks, and bartenders have a small town politeness that will bring me back!!!!!
