We love buying our dog snackies in bulk here for our Hearing Service Dog Mocha. We also buy Grandma Lucy's dog food for our Toy Poodle Baby Makana and Maltipoo Kailana. We also picked up 3 different chews for Mocha. The workers are nice and helpful. We got some free samples too that the dogs all loved.

Amazing staff! Super nice, polite, and knowledgeable. They helped us get everything for our puppy, got us free samples, instructions, and explained everything. The ladies’ names were Mel and I think Chrystal or something similar (sorry if I’ve misspelled it); they definitely went above and beyond!

Amazing staff and incredible customer service! They made one of our wedding dreams come true by allowing us to do a bulk orders of dog cookies. We were able to order 30 lbs in bulk cookies for our wedding. Needles to say they were a big hit! Thank you!

Felt I should write a review and comment on the brilliant instore marketing they do here. First let me say that my dog literally drags me into the store. From the parking lot he claws at the window begging to go in. We could be on a walk blocks away and he will lure the leash towards Mud Bay tricking me to taking him there. Once we are close by there is no distracting him. He will dig feet to the ground and not move in any other direction. Its comical. As we walk in we are always greeted and offered a "treat" which he loves. Then he gets praise. He eats it up (both the treat and the praise) and loves the store. Naturally we end up leaving with some of the treats for home, (can scoop some into the bag and pay by the ounce) and its not expensive which is nice. The store seems to always have what we need when we need it as well. Even when we dont need anything we still stop in for a visit. Stallone's favorite store. Really nice place to have in the neighborhood.

Edit: I changed my original post (below) from a 3 to 5 stars. I'll point out that I've never had a business contact me and listen intently. This made a world of a difference in my experience with the company and it made me really happy to hear that they care about their employees. Just a phone call and an attempt to make things right is something that other companies very rarely do. Thank you :)I've only been to Mud Bay once when I adopted my kitten last month. I want to start by saying that I would give the employees 10 stars for their kindness and caring. My review is less than 5 stars because I wasn't given accurate or full information when I made a very large purchase (+$250). Among a lot of products I bought a cat carrier, harness, and pine litter. I'm speaking from a ground-zero, completely inexperienced kitten owner. While shopping, I spoke about how my kitten was 3 months old and I would be traveling 3,000+ miles to the east coast with her. When I asked about how big the carrier should be she said I should get a smaller one so that the kitten feels safer. That was the complete opposite of what I experienced and from what every person I talked to has told me since I had to get a bigger carrier on my road trip. My kitten went from freaking out to total relaxation in the car when I bought a carrier twice the size. To be honest, I felt like the worst pet parent. A bigger carrier completely transformed both of our travels.For the harness, I learned that it's standard that any 3 month old kitten would fit into an extra small instead of a small harness. This ended up being the only store I could find an extra small cat harness out of the 4 other ones I checked (I couldnt go back to the store because I was leaving town the next day and this location was very far out of the way.)Lastly, I want to review why I didn't receive important information regarding the pine litter. I am very grateful that the employees recommended pine litter pellets because they really are the best, (I didn't know the difference.) One crucial thing that was left out was that I should've had a sifted litter box because pine litter doesn't need to be changed out completely like clay litter. It wasn't until I dumped the litter 5 times already before it occurred to me to research this because it felt wasteful.If this situation had been with only one or two issues I wouldn't have written a less than stellar review, but I ended up spending $100 more buying replacements for the products that I already had. I go out of my way to support local businesses, so I hate saying that maybe I would've saved money and stress at a mainstream pet store.I don't think this situation was a matter of trying to make more money; the store carried all of the correct products I needed. I also don't think the people helping me intentionally misdirected me, but I'm not sure what my recommendation would be to help this not happen to a future customer.I wish I could come back into the store in person, but I'm all the way on the east coast now and won't be back in the area until next year.

If you are looking for the good old days of retail, look no further than Mud Bay. I hadn't had a pet for years and I needed a few things. The big box pet stores had less selection, and cost more! A medium size carrier was $65 at one store and $50 at another. Mud Bay had one for $50. So they are the same as the lowest price I found. Plus they greet you as you enter the store. Better selection and associates ready to answer your questions. So refreshing. Highly recommended!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They greeted us when we arrived, but were not pushy, and when they noticed I was kind of struggling with choices, they were more than happy to make some really good suggestions to fit exactly what I needed. Everything is labeled nicely, and the store is kept clean and tidy. Their prices in some things are are also much better than in some of the bigger chain stores. I'll definitely be returning for my cats' needs!

Great place and customer service, overall. I really like this place.My only request is to please please please stock your dog food better. Today was the 4th time I've come in and you were out of my food. I always prefer to support local stores, and I would hate to have to resort to shopping online, but it's incredible inconvenient to not find the dog food I need so frequently.

Every time I've been to any Mud Bay store the staff has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Dealing with a sick pet can be incredibly difficult and I truly appreciate how wonderful the staff has been at helping me find the right products to help my animals. I absolutely adore the place! I let the employees know that it was my first time there and I just adopted a cat for the first time as well. They were very helpful when it came to cat tips and everything that comes along with proper care. Along with that, I got a coupon for my next purchase, two free samples of cat treats that changes every week and a thank you card that was hand-written (which doesnt happen in typical pet stores). Definitely coming back, in and recommending everybody I know with fur babies.

I honestly never write reviews for anything but felt compelled. Yes they are a little more spendy than some of the other name brands. HOWEVER, they were extremely knowledgeable about there own products and what does best for what kind of dog. They gave me three completely free cans of wet food to try out and some free treats. Plus all of there foods are super healthy and the staff is really friendly! Personally, I think it’s worth every penny and would rather give the right stuff to my pup than buy cheap.

Best customer service I have ever had. Learned about what food I should give my kitties, was given tons of free samples to ensure we find a food my cats like, and even got a than you card at checkout because it was my first visit to the store. The man who helped me was super knowledgeable, very helpful, and totally willing to walk the store and answer my questions! I 100% recommend Mud Bay for all of your pet needs!

I love this pet store. There’s so much stuff and it’s all quality and healthy for pets. They have a great selection of simple warm coats and sweaters for dogs and I have gotten my favorites from here. My only complaint is it’s expensive compared to other pet stores. We stop by for a bully stick every time my pup and I are nearby.

This is the most friendly pet store I have ever been to. The employees are always helpful and cheerful. Our cats used Tiki Cat brand cat food which they carry a huge selection of. Our cats also very much appreciate the treats they give us at check out. Thanks guys!

I posted a review on Yelp as well but felt it was important to post here. This store is a great store that is clean and well taken care of. The store employees are on point and are very knowledgeable about their products. There is a new employee Brad/Brian (couldn't see the name tag from a distance) that is top notch. I witnessed him handle a very rude customer with grace and style. This customer was name calling and confrontational. If she were in my business she would have been removed and not allowed to come back. I almost stepped in to protect the employee as a owner of a company. It was embarrassing to see this human acting like this to another human being.

I enjoy shopping at Mud Bay, however, I rank this location a 3 because they tend to not get enough frozen bones for dogs. I have made a couple of trips when I was out of frozen Turkey neckbones and they were out. They are not able to keep up with the demand, which is good for the store but not so good for my dog.

Mud Bay has wonderful toys, healthy treats and the friendliest ervice anywhere! While it may be a little bit more than the big box pet stores, it's so worth it. You won't be disappointed!

Nice store. Nice employees. I stupidly left 2 pounds of the bulk treats where the big dog could knock them over. You would have thought both of them would have are them up. 99% was still all over the floor. You would have expected them to be gone. In other words they did not like them.
