what is going on with the temporary closing? Pharmacist called me today to see if I had needed refills which I do need one I told her by Wednesday. Just went online to check and it says the Troutdale location is closed so I left a message with the Burnside store. Is Walgreens going out of business? I just lost my pharmacy Rite Aid.

I was picking up a prescription (learned the pharmacy is ONLY DRIVE-THRU now) and my 4 year old daughter had to use the restroom badly. I went inside and to the back where it was labeled "Restrooms" only to see we needed a code. I know many places do this now so that wasn't a big deal. I found an employee and asked her for the code and she said there are no public restrooms. I showed her my daughter, who was panicked at this point she was going to pee herself, and she simply said "I don't make the rules".Bottom line - Walgreens offers nothing we can't get at another local store. When employees don't use their brains and show any empathy to see a special situation for a parent/little girl in need (who are already customers to that store), and stick behind simple rules, there's no reason for us to ever return. We've heard many horror stories about Walgreens going downhill but it wasn't until this situation that we experienced it for ourselves. We won't be returning and based on the collective feedback I've received on Walgreens, I won't be surprised if they're closed soon.

I ordered an ultrasound picture of my daughter, because she was smiling in it and it’s the cutest thing I’d ever seen.I had called and mentioned I fell sick with Covid and couldn’t pick it up immediately. Well when I was able to go in, I was told it was thrown away. That they don’t keep photos for that long. Yet I am still receiving emails saying that my picture is ready for pick up. It’s frustrating because this location is not closed yet that’s what google says and their phone lines also. Staff is pretty rude (not always but like 9-10 times that’s my experience here)Just disappointing all around

Walgreens is a great place for me to go to have some pictures developed! They are very quick to get the order printed and send back a message saying your order is ready for pickup. The pictures turned out amazing I really appreciate the customer service I received here at Walgreens and I will continue to use them to print pictures when I need them.

So for Labor Day weekend 2023 they were only supposed to be closed on Monday I called and verified that on Wednesday. I had my doctor call in a prescription for me then to be filled on Friday to be picked up on Saturday. At 6-8pm I try to cal several times and I’m not getting thru the phone systems so I call the store and I find out that the pharmacist left at 5pm for an emergency!! On Saturday I call the pharmacy at 9am and hold for 15 mins and hang up and call the store again and find out that the store lady is talking to the Pharmacist on the other line!!! The pharmacist was supposed to start at 9am not be on the phone at 9:20am !!At 10am I got to Walgreens and discover the pharmacy is closed and I’m told to go find another pharmacy but I already know that my prescription won’t transfer because of what type of prescription it it is and I’m furious!!! I want to know how come another pharmacy isn’t coming into to take the shift of this pharmacist. No answer! I ask if there is going to be a pharmacist on Sunday. They don’t know. This is the same thing that happened on 223rd Walgreens and this is why I transferred to this Walgreens. Last Walgreens I had an allergic reaction to my medication and I couldn’t get my medication my doctor called in for me when the pharmacy shut down and I ended up in the emergency room!!! What I makes me super angry is just because the pharmacist has a emergency doesn’t mean everyone else’s life stops too and Walgreens has a obligation to supply staff to get there customers there medicines or stop doing medication all together!!! I wish I could give the a big 0 score

Would not recommend coming to this Walgreens pharmacy. They’re a complete joke. Had me waiting 2 hours for a 30 day prescription. Kept telling me to come back in an hour and it’ll be ready. Really frustrating. I’m definitely going to a new pharmacy.

I normally get my prescription filled at a pharmacy directly across the street from my Dr's office for convenience. My Dr moved to a new location so I had my prescription transfered to the Walgreens directly across the street from where I live. Recieved a message from Walgreens saying my prescription was ready for pickup. I walked in and noticed a line of about 8 people at the Pharmacy but the Pharmacy was closed! This is at 1:30 p.m. Nobody new what was happening so I walked to the front and asked. I was told "oh they went to lunch from 1:00 until 2:00 - 2:15ish. What?! The entire pharmacy ( 4 people ) take lunch at the same time?!?!? Ok whatever, I decided 'll wait 30-45 minutes until they return. After waiting 40 minutes they finally showed up at 2:10. I then waited in line behind now 11 people for another 20 minutes and walked up and gave them my name and birthday. She grabs my prescription and looks at it and informs me "oh we don't take your insurance, so its going to be $386!!! Normally this medication is free for me. Now I understand not everywhere takes my insurance, however I was told prior to transferring my medication that they did accept my insurance. Why on earth would you fill it, or send me a message stating its ready knowing you don't take my insurance? She didn't scan anything or have a computer beep and tell her, she knew as soon as she picked up the bag. Who has EVER said "well next door its free but I'm already here, so I'll just pay $400"? I'm willing to bet NO ONE has ever done that. So apparently this is the place to work. You get an hour and 15 minute lunch, you earn your hourly wage by filling prescriptions you know will not be purchased and then get to restock it. Walgreens is paying for a lot of double work to be done. Its upsetting knowing they took the time to fill, contact me, have me wait over an hour, and then deny my insurance. All of this could have been prevented by letting me know it was not covered. They had the time to contact me and tell me its ready for pickup though. Not very professional by any means, not rude but not very customer friendly either. She also wore her mask as a chin diaper instead of a mask. This will definitely end my relationship with Walgreens, I am a 2 time Cancer survivor and my medication is a NECESSITY, I can't go more than 24 hours without it. Now thanks to the wonderful pharmacy staff I will miss my first dose in 5 years. Thanks guys!!

Such great staff! Very helpful. The woman at the counter offered me a great Idea to lower my prices, Coupons! She stood there with me for a good 5mins ( no one else in the store) searching through their coupons, giving me one to use for my items and ones to use later! Always have had great experience here for years!

I ordered a pharmacy product online through Walgreens. Entered my DOB, insurance, and the whole 9 yards. When I got there said they couldn’t find it and I was having to wait. Would not recommend this pharmacy.

Most of the staff is very friendly at this location. But the lady who wears a unicorn over her name tag is a real negative jerk who needs a serious lesson in manners. I waited patiently for her to finish counting 5 dimes, and instead of asking me to use a different register, she just rudely pointed to the other cashier. WOW. I am a cashier too, and never been that rude to a customer, not even when they deserved it.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience today at the pharmacy. I had a prescription called in on Saturday for my child, a whopping 2 pills. Stopped by Tuesday morning at 10:00am to pick it up for his dr appt at 2:00 that same day. I was told the computers had been down since Saturday and they didn't have the prescription. The lady assisting us recommended having the dr office call in the same prescription to guarantee getting it before his appt. I did that, and stopped by again at 11:00, the same lady confirmed they talked to the dr's office and had the prescription. She told me it would be ready in an hour. My husband went back and was told not only was it not ready but because the computers went down again he would have to go to the location on Burnside. So my husband drove over there to be told it would take an HOUR AGAIN to fill a TWO pill prescription. By this time we didn't have another hour to wait so we are going without. Very disappointing they couldn't figure out how to fill a 2 pill prescription to make sure we could get what we needed prior to the appt. Especially since they technically had the prescription for 3 days prior to us trying to pick it up. Perhaps they should invest a little more in an better IT department, or maybe even notify the local doctors that they are down for days! What a joke, awful awful awful customer service. Not one person in either location tried to find a solution, just said "it's going to be an hour, nothing we can do". Ridiculous.

Kinda weird that they have not once but twice( at least for me) been closed, on a weekend, for “power outages” with employees inside and the lights on. Making this convenient store, not convenient at all.

Do not trust *anything* Walgreens’ online system says. If you have any other options, and you don’t want to waste a couple hours, I recommend getting vaccinated somewhere else.

Employees didn't know coupon policy and weren't helpful. Manager was RUDE. There are so many other good Walgreens in the area - try a different one.

It’s 9:33 am and the pharmacy is not yet open. No notice, nothing. Hours state the pharmacy (not the store) opens at 9 am. It’s not a holiday.
