Small towns are just that, small towns. The coastal towns are touristy and that usually makes it a little less warm and friendly. When I was working on a house in the area and found myself a few lag bolta short - just as they were closing and me 15 minutes or more away, it was a very heartwarming experience when they confirm the specifications and told me that they would leave some at the door for me and do not worry about paying for them. I haven't come across that kind of neighborly in decades. Thanks very much, one business and woodworker to another. In these strange times it really is refreshing to see people caring about each other. You've earned my respect and appreciation and five star rating!

The lady who we asked for some advice and assistance talked down to my wife and for the majority of our interaction treated me and my wife like we were stupid and bothering her. We were needing help regarding pressure canners. We will not be going back. This use to be a great place to get product and advice, when there was an older gentleman running the store. But that does not seem to be the case any longer.

Typically I buy items from Kimmels, but today I was "helped" by the worst "salesman " I've ever encountered. The lady was not courteous and definitely unhelpful. She walked me to the item, stated " We have what we have" and walked off... It is no surprise to me that their last building burned to the ground.

THIS is by far the BEST local small town hardware store on the West coast. I've shopped here for at least 25 years and they have always had what I needed on hand or ordered for me promptly! The staff are some of the nicest people that I know and ALWAYS ready to help. If you want a family owned hardware store that is stuffed with what you need....this is it. The only upgrade that I can suggest is a keg and a pot bellied stove in the back room.

This is a well stocked hardware store. We went to get a push lawn mower. They only had 2 to choose from but my husband found one he liked. The employees are usually helpful and friendly.

Walked in and was met at the door wondering if they could help me out, and from there it was customer service. Shelves were stocked and the place was clean. And they had what I needed.

Great hardware store if Allie doesn't have it in stock which most of the time he does, but if not he'll get it in for you. Excellent staff an all of them knowledgeable an all very helpful

The staff here is super helpful every time I go in. Great selection of hardware and home improvement items. I recommend checking it out before going to the big box stores. Ace is the Place!

Weve been clients of Kimmels around a year now. But Tonight they went beyond my husband and I were just moving into a new home werent paying attention to time called kimmels they stayed open so we could purchase some prellet for the pellet stove since the agencys werent open for us to have heat on .we are beyond greatful .Thank You Kimmels well be back soon to stock up.

Great family friendly place to grab some tools & or building supplies, a great selection of all kindsa dank foooods, and watch a talented artists paint a beautiful mural in the pavilion. "FLAVOR'S ON 1ST."Food pic: The Mac & cheese cart.The Tavern Sanny on fresh baked bread w/ homemade potatoe chips.mac & chz with (real) bacon chunks & hot hunny drizzllin's.
