Today stopped to go shopping. Found the staff standing at front floor waiting to go to work. I was informed by the staff they had no manager to open the store and the manager that was scheduled to open told her staff she didn't plan to come and open the store! While I needed to go shopping, I feal for the staff standing outside the door waiting to go do their job! Seems like if you have staff, you would want to keep them due to no one wants to work anymore!

they only have 1 cashier, doesnt matter how long the line is, treat you like u might steal stuff, funny thing is all the people that work at this store seem to be on drugs. Update. 9/9/23... seem like they are getting rid of "on stuff" people, still need to get more than one cashier. they have many people doing freight, but they are sloww as hell.

Dollar Tree is the only store around The Dalles area. It is a so wonderful & awesome store. You can get for a $1.25 wrapping paper, bows, tags, ribbons, scotch tape, scissors, holiday Christmas cards, small gifts, food, many types cleaning supplies, & Holiday orament & decorations. Some stuff is no where but The Dollar Store.

My daughter came home crying because some lady with rotten teeth named Karen was calling my daughter slurs bc she thought my daughter wasn’t going to buy something and continued to talk about my daughter to her coworkers. This lady needs to get fired.

Horrible experience. Very poor management. I was 5th in line with one harried checker available while several other staff loitered in the aisles. The checker kept promising another checker in 10 minutes, every 10 minutes. Finally the manager hollered from the office to have one of the loitering staff open up a cash register. Not sure why that could not have happened 20 minutes before, because by then, at least 15-20 people were waiting in line. Never again, as comments from other customers indicate this store has a reputation for this.

Gonna have a rant. Lines . One cashier. Empty shelves. Carts loaded with freight . Today I actually saw people putting freight out. However the aisles are so narrow they need to learn how to keep their empty picked up. I had to move empty boxes to see merchandise plus get down the aisle. Need to learn to keep it in one spot and picked up. It's not cashiers fault but she didn't even call for back up. More than likely didn't have any. Get it together Dollar Store Manager.Very sad conditions.

A great overall bargain store - everything is a buck and they have a lot of everything. But everything is a buck so you replace it often, but hey, it's a buck. The lines are long and worse because of Covid but worth the effort. Great store over all.

The Dollar Tree in The Dalles is quite possibly the worst one I've ever been in- under stocked, always messy, employees shouting at each other (and customers), the bathroom is DISGUSTING, and the whole place, in general, is just chaos. However, at least there's some sort of Dollar Store in The Dalles... I guess we have to deal 🤷‍♀️

I love the Dollar Tree my wife is the manager there now but it is so mismanaged if with upper management it's pathetic my wife works 20 hours a day 6 to 7 days a week between Hood River and the Dalles I hope upper management sees this cuz there's definitely a problem if not more they fired all the people that she had working to start with at The Dalles and now she has no one to show up like this morning at 5 there was a truck to unload no one was there and buy company policy she's not supposed to even go in the store without another person present with her it's ridiculous they don't pay her enough the demand too much and they're mismanaged at the higher level other than that I love the dollar store I love my wife she's a good worker and she does what she can she goes above and beyond I rated a five-star as long as she's there working

Dollar store is still a fantastic store to get a lot of knick knacks and things for your home not always top quality but products that will get the job done on a budget I'm obviously partial to dollar store because I worked there

They close at 4 during the week that's a first I have never heard any such thing of from a Dollar Tree for why all the other stores are open in the unbelievable

Our cashier was friendly and was very careful when she packed the bags so nothing was squished. Bit low on stock. Store clean!

I already did the dollar tree review. So in not shell .they need more help. They may have what you want but they don't have no help to put it on their selves. Nobody wants to work anymore. Sad....

This is a good place to shop for bargains. They have Betty Crocker kitchen items I have seen in department stores priced at $8 and going for a buck at Dollar Tree.. Lots of savings.

I'm sorry but this store needs new managment the managers are never around they are always in the office. I used to work at this store and we never had lines like it has now. The old managers where always on the floor.

Dirty, looks like it's never been vacuumed, looks like a bomb went off, BUT...if you're respectful to the cashiers they'll be respectful to you, which says alot about the abuse they must take on a daily basis.

Has every thing for small home care...love the paint equipment..best brushes
