Title: Safeways Review: Just For You Program Falls ShortMy recent experience at Safeways left me thoroughly unimpressed, particularly due to the abysmal performance of their Just For You program. As a loyal customer, I expected personalized offers and rewards that catered to my shopping habits. However, what I received was nothing short of disappointing.The Just For You program touted exclusive deals and discounts tailored to individual preferences. Yet, the offers I received were either irrelevant or expired, leaving me feeling like I was missing out on the promised benefits.Furthermore, attempting to redeem these offers proved to be a hassle. The interface was clunky and unintuitive, making it challenging to navigate and select desired discounts. It seemed as though Safeways had overlooked the importance of user experience in their digital platform.Overall, the Just For You program at Safeways falls far short of its potential. Rather than enhancing the shopping experience, it only serves to frustrate and disappoint customers. Until significant improvements are made, I see little reason to engage with this underwhelming rewards system.

Honestly absolutely horrible customer service today first off Elisabeth was absolutely horrible very very disrespectful seems to enjoy talking down to people. The other was an older redhead woman that works the self checkout she seemed really annoyed that she had to do her job then when she was putting things away at the checkout I was at it messed up the machine. I told her that she messed it up and she got annoyed and said it wasn't her but the screen replayed what happened and yes it was indeed her.

Self checkout people are always rude. I would use regular Check out lane but they never have cashiers and line add items are always out of stock. Safeway used to be a lot better sad.

If you like really high prices and are amused by the worlds slowest pharmacy then this place is for you. No exaggeration, it’s faster to drive to Lebanon and process a new order at their Walmart pharmacy then pick up preordered prescriptions here. I honestly don’t know why they are so slow but they are every time.

Deli meats aren't packaged properly.Eggplants are put in the wrong place so they rot faster from being too cold.Packaged meats are often expired.And one of the cashier women with wavy hair and glasses IS THE SLOWEST TALKIEST CASHIRE IVE EVER DELT WITH. Both her and her boyfriend who also works there won't shut up and just bag the items.Also HYGENE! too mamy times have I walked past some of the guys who work there and they absolutely SMELL LIKE BO. cologne isn't covering it. They need a talking to about showers and deodorant. Gross.

Sweet Home is a smaller community with two grocery stores. Safeway is one of the main stores in this town. One of the largest complaints I have heard is the rising cost. I try to keep in mind that it is not the individual store that sets the prices, it is generally corporate. Yes, Safeway prices are sometimes ridiculous, but they do offer a lot of great bargains as well. I highly recommend downloading the app and utilizing the coupons and rewards.The store appeared to be clean and well stocked. We purchased chicken tenders from the deli, and they were fresh and delicious. There are can return machines outside of the store, but we did not use them. They also have a water refill station for jugs of water. The parking lot had adequate parking and kept clean. The one thing I did notice was the lack of shopping carts on the inside of the store. Most of them were scattered around the parking lot in the cart returns.Overall, my shopping trips to this location were pleasant. I always dealt with a friendly cashier. Some of them would even joke around with the customers. I also noticed that some of the cashiers remembered the locals or frequent customers by name and/or face and would greet them even if the customer was in another line. I would shop here again when I'm in the area.

I went in for a last minute birthday cake and found exactly what I needed. Their cakes are beautiful and it shows how awesome they are and dedicated to their jobs. I always shop at Safeway in California and Oregon. These cakes are by far the most stunning.

Love safeway but the pharmacy has problems. Requests for meds are lost. It seems like they are very short handed. I have been out of my medicine for 3 days. Thst is unacceptable. I eould change pharmacies but because of insurance I can't afford too.We are happy our insurance allowed us to go to a better pharmacy!We no longer use the pharmacy but all other products is great!!

We moved to sweet home about two months ago. And we have been doing all of our shopping locally since we have been here. And this Safeway is very well maintained and is very efficient. The employees are super friendly and go as far to ask how your day has been and go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. Amazing town, store , and people all around. God bless sweet home.

I won’t go out if my way to leave a bad review somewhere unless I’m really tired of bad service. I am completely done with Safeway. The amount of times I’ve dealt with rude employees and even managers is ridiculous. It’s so sad that there are so many people there that have a hard time being decent.You better keep an eye on your receipts as well. I’ve been overcharged so many times. Once by $16 in one transaction. It makes me wonder how much money of mine they have gotten before without me noticing.Today my husband was told, “If you could read, there’s a sign right here.”Just rude.Thanks for listening.

Called and was told they could cash payroll checks, walked 2 miles down and then was told me less than $1000 check was too much money at 6pm to cash. I am beyond extremely disappointed with the customer service man Tom

Service has gone down considerably over the past year. Out of products, a lot and overpriced items. The deli has one good employee, and she is there early in the day. The best part of shopping here is being able to check yourself out and learn a new job skill while doing so.

Go somewhere else if you want Starbucks or any other needs. ITS HORRIBLE!!! management sucks. I’ve literally heard a manager say “just do the training and pretend I was here for it” so no wonder why no one knows how to do anything here properly.

Called deli in advance to ask if something was available (meaning already made) and they said no. When asked if it was possible to have some made they VERY rudely got attitude and repeated that they didn't have any(but never clarified from the beginning whether they didn't have any made or have any to make) I was very calm respectful and even cheery up until then so I was surprised when they all the sudden got rude and condescending with me. The rest of the store is always sweet and helpful but not the first time I've witnessed attitude from the deli department. I've seen it happen to both friends and strangers.

Clean store. But was over charged and had to go back inside to get money for being overcharged. The staff who helped me with the return wasn't friendly at all.Went in for donuts & milk during another visit and wasn't told until I was ready to check out that all card machines were down. I was pretty frustrated....

My family and I went to the Safeway in Sweet Home to order deli and bakery trays for my father's memorial service. We were treated with professionalism, kindness, and compassion, and the trays of food were absolutely beautiful. Those who came to the service raved about the food!Thank you, Sweet Home Safeway, for being there for us when we needed you.

This is for the Sweet Home store! The Just For you scanning doesn't work 90 % of the time and other added coupons for my past 4 visits (month or so) and you have to prove the price while in line. I've discussed the issues with the heat person on shift each time, with no resolution. In fact, two of the times, they said "it's corporate and we can't do anything about it" & "I've had issues with it myself"...great!My App updates are current and many other people I talk to in the store say they have the same problem.Check your receipts!!!, as each time I'd lose between $8 and $20 in discount savings that were due to me. That's even after I'd show them a picture of the offered price in case it didn't scan correctly.Last shopping trip, I gave up and put most of the supposed sale items back so I didn't have to go through all the proving of prices and the time consuming trip back to customer service to get my money back for all the errors... All the while, my groceries out on the car in 90 plus degree heat... Since they were coming up with the incorrect scan item as I scanned, I decided it just wasn't work it!!!I've decided to stop shopping there for the majority of my shopping. It's just not worth all that stress and embarrassment at the check out, as people waiting behind you get annoyed as it looks like I'm trying to get extra deals or misunderstand what's on sale...no thank you! I've haven't had this problem for the past two years living here, it's too bad they are losing customers.

Pay attention to ad limits and can't get prices unless you have digital coupons. I wish it would get better but, still doesn't have items for price in ads. Also does give you items for correct price. I would go to different Safeway but closest one is 14miles away.

It's a fairly small town, but Safeway still seemed to be quite busy for Sunday evening at 9:30pm... With only 2 registers open & 6 - 7 people in each line, you would think they could open the self service checkout area... I am fairly sure with the 2 big beautiful lakes just a couple miles from town, that weekends are usually very busy!!

Rude employees, they have a job to do i understand but, can not get down some Iles, cut off by workers, one checker is the rudest and has to sit to check. She also pushes you out of her way, with no concern to you. And other workers are courteous and see the way you are being treated, and apologized for others rude behaviors

Entirely far too expensive and thinks the Albertsons purchasing this particular store seemingly some prices went up as well the produce is much to be desired but has good selection of various things just some of it quite old and still on the market other than that that's a pretty good little store with nice people

We made an appointment for a shingles shot last week. The appointment was at 10. My wife is still waiting 30 minutes later. There is no reason for requiring appointments if you are going to ignore the time and date. Get it together.

I know it is a busy place ant the employees are usually very respectful and helpful but the bathrooms are almost dirty. Today when my wife went into the women's restroom all stalls we're dirty. I understand that this is in Sweet Home and we have some people in this town that aren't respectful of property that isn't theirs. I just feel that Safeway needs to check and clean their bathrooms more often.

Don’t let this be the only determining factor in why you shouldn’t come to this Safeway, chances are it might be one of the only choices if you’re around this area. I wanted to get some orange chicken because the last two times I got it in Albany it was one of the best I’ve ever had. This time however I took a chance and it looked like it had been sitting there all day which is not the end of the world. The young associate who was working lacked the skills of any basic customer service. He was really short and rude and clearly did not have any interest in helping out customers. I will not be returning to this Safeway.
