A group of us road from Walla Walla and stopped here for a beer and hamburgers. Absolutely the best service and food I have had in a long long time. Nice, clean and extremely polite. I can't wait for another ride over there to eat again. Great job ladies. You are the best.

Great place came here since I was a kid worked for sheri the owner for store credit don't remember driving home a few times but great place great people normal food with there own styles depending on the cook kids are aloud to eat at the tables till 7 then they gotta go cuz we don't wanna see em when we're drinking and its supposed to be a bar so less kids is more but no weirdos well all be happy to see emParking: Just don't park in front of the gasKid-friendliness: Can eat till 7 pm no gambling no pool only to eat tried to let my kid watch me play video lottery and got scolded a littleWheelchair accessibility: Used to have dirt floors so its ground level

By far THE BEST hamburgers we’ve had in years and we’ve traveled all over this wonderful country. Delicious with such fresh ingredients, like someone really cares, you know. Just can’t get that quality at a fast food joint. The employees are so friendly and accommodating - they welcome patrons with open arms, not like cities where employees treat customers as if we are a nuisance. It’s just a few minutes from downtown La Grande and the drive is breathtakingly beautiful.

Great food, friendly service. Limited menu, but what they do serve is extremely good. Burgers and fries more than anything....and yet so well done in the 'homestyle' tradition.....however...it is NOT fast food...just good food.

The S. Store is a cafe, gas, diesel, bar, groceries, and post office. The store is the perfect atmosphere for a beer and a sandwich. Everyone is as friendly as you would expect in a country storr

The gents and I convened a fortnight ago dressed in our most posh attire and, on the advice of a local, made haste to this establishment for a weekend night of merriment and possible ribaldry. Upon entering, we noticed we were quite a bit overdressed for the occasion but still tried to blend in. The bartender couldn't follow through on any requests for highbrow cocktails and proceeded to try and appease us with a concoction called a "Coors Light," which would probably be akin to the taste of rat urine filtered through the sock of a marathon runner. Their solo musical entertainer immersed us in the folky, rootsy style so popular with the working class in these rural areas of the States, and there was much rejoicing. Food was not attempted by me, but my mate thought it was the bee's knees. The lads were nice, and even the most inebriated of them never threw a wobbly. A good time was had by all.
