Went to several different antique/thrift/picking places in Stayton and this one was by far the best. Not only did they have a great selection of things for both inside and outside your house. They were willing to work on prices which in my experience at the other end of town they would not so therefore they did not earn my money. I liked the atmosphere and the woman I dealt with was chatty and personable and so my experience was definitely five stars

Expect to spend a while at this shop! It's chock full of all things old or fun. Well worth a regular stop to check what is new interesting things she has. Owner is very nice and pleasant to visit with. Prices are very reasonable.

I dropped into The Picken Coop, because I saw some black metal trellises. This little shop is magical! The proprietor is engaging and quite fun to chat with. All of the things, and there are tons, are stylishly displayed. Old doors, old windows, old pieces of farm equipment, mixed with some tomato plants and all kinds of things fashioned into pots for gorgeous living flowers. I bought the trellises, but I'm coming back for more. I think you could easily spend several hours walking through this eclectic array of treasures, and never see everything. Do yourself a favor and stop by very soon. You are apt to find just the right thing for your yard, home or office. I'm going back very soon!

This place is a neat little store with a wide variety of various knickknacks, and various miscellany. for those of you who are not old enough to recall this place used to be a gas station with a service pay for one to be able to get their cars repaired. The fact that this building has been repurposed into something else is very very nice.

Simply cannot pass through Stayton without stopping by the Picken Coop. What an awesome collection of odds and ends. Prices are nearly garage sale level. We've NEVER left without some little treasure.Owner is a beautiful soul with a great eye for display. Excellent. Worth 6 stars.

Fun place to browse, and very nice prices on the outdoor decor items. The owner had place tiny baby succulents in a variety of tiny vintage containers (even things that were not intended to be containers), those were especially adorable.

The Picken Coop has quite the variety of stuff for an individual to be able to browse through and purchase. In addition to preowned items, this store also sells new stuff from small local businesses for an individual to be able to purchase. All located at the location of a former gas station.

Carol is a hoot. (She welcomes bartering) There are small stalls inside with different people keeping all kinds of trinkets and collectables to buy. Outside is a managerie of garden decore. If you like treasure hunting it's worth a stop.
