Always a good experience. Bright store, well stocked, clean aisles. Produce is best in town. Checkers are always adding more if needed. Courtesy clerk takes your groceries out. Recycling area is best in town. Process are higher but watch for sales. Like the bulk spices section.

2 stars is ONLY because I love the store and most employees.Deli however needs to get their act together.... 5th time ordering online for deli sandwiches and STILL messed up 2 of the 3.... *3rd one they were out of and kindly made me something else on the spot* (I've only received one correct order of 5 different attempts... in 5 years!!!)I honestly understand mistakes happen, but I've attempted this 5 times in the past 5 years and they STILL can't get it correct!! Please train kitchen staff to actually care....

The Deli is alright. My Garlic French fries were cooked; however, ALL the garlic bits were at the bottom of the container. I wouldn't recommend them...

Today I had the opportunity to come in and order 2 deli sandwiches ..Heather M. and David G. went on and above helping me with my order ,and customizing my order. I recently had shoulder surgery ,and only have the use of one arm,David bagged everything up for me, and gave me the BEST customer service there at the deli counter...Heather displayed so much patience with me changing my order, and went on and above helping me with prepping my order .This was my first time ordering a sandwich, and I will definetly be back soon because of my wonderful experience today ..I wasn't able to quite figure out the order kiosk, ,THANK YOU Heather Mc..Please recognize these 2 Roth's deli employees, they both deserve recognition ,and are a great asset to your local grocery store.Olga Dean Salem ,Oregon

The store is quiet and clean, so I enjoy the atmosphere. Their donuts are great, and they sell dry ice. What other reasons do you need to shop here?The macaroni and cheese is too salty and could be improved. Pretty friendly people, nice help with carts and groceries. Customer service is consistent.

Fresh produce and good meat selection. Their made to order hot bar is incredibly slow though, it appears that everyone working back there can only cook/make one sandwich at a time.

I love this store!! My whole family is vegan and they have tons of options (including in the deli) super friendly store employees they never have backed up lines because they always call cashiers in when needed. The price is a little higher on some items than the other major store in town Safeway but it’s worth it, I don’t shop at the local Safeway anymore because the place has been nothing but a nightmare each time I make the mistake to go in so I stopped giving them my hard earned money and give it to a far more deserving company! Keep up the GREAT customer service!!

A little pricey.Very good bakery. They even have my Raspberry Fritters!This store is also nice and clean.The deli is small but good. If you are looking for something in the deli and it is not on display, ask about it and if they have it in the back, they will get it out for you.

Service is great, and staff are always friendly. They have a nice bakery section, with probably the best doughnuts in town. Prices in most of the store are high, which is what keeps this from being a 5 star review.

I like Roths, their bakery is exceptional, as well as the deli, the personally always seem to go the extra mile for you. By carrying out your groceries and putting them in the car or truck. My only complaint is they are consistently higher when it comes to prices. Should expect that with the level of customer service they give a person. Highly recommend the Stayton store.

I absolutely love shopping at Roth's. They have wonderful, very helpful staff, take groceries out to the car. You rarely wait in line. Their food selection is fabulous and they have the freshest vegetables. I shop at the Stayton store a lot. And I love their houseplants. The stores are clean and quiet. LOVE ROTH'S!!

I absolutely love this Roths! The staff are so kind and go out of the way to help you with whatever you need while you are there and even when you leave! Their grill is THE BEST!! I love the burgers and fries. Cooked to perfection and you get to pick and choose toppings on a computer! Also have an Asian grill which is amazing! 👍🏻

We live in Salem, Oregon and we have a variety of Roth's stores that we frequent. Great fruit and veggie variety, much locally grown. We often go for their hot Fried Chicken, yummy and not greasy, add their Reese's potato salad and you have a great dinner for two. It's a smallish grocery store but their Variety of all things is amazing. I highly recommend this store, you won't regret a visit.

I love this little store. It is really nice, and s really clean store. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. Their meat is locally sourced and good quality which is important to me. The hot soups are nice on a cold day too!

The staff is always very friendly and not obtrusive. Prices are a bit more expensive than Safeway, but we've found the freshness of perishables to be well worth it compared to Safeway. Also Roth's as a company is fantastic - will definitely continue shopping here.

My wife and I enjoy our Sunday afternoons just hanging out and being off work. Roth's atmosphere and environment is a great place to shop and we always have a good time shopping due to the quality and friendliness of the store. We have thought of many a new recipes while shopping here ad are always impressed with the awesome staff. Our favorite is the smaller Roth's in Stayton and we really love their huge beer selection. We enjoy trying new brands and flavors together and we know Roth's will always be there to offer the latest and greatest brews available. Shopping at Roth's is always a laid back good time at a place that continuously offers killer service and impeccable quality.

I put a complaint in to corporate quite a few months ago. I was never going to shop here again but thought I would try it out since I was searching for something specific that I thought they would carry. Once again very displeased with the over all experience I had. The store manager there is rude. The way she talks to employees is very condescending and unprofessional. Hoping for the day they get someone in there that can fix things and help make it a more pleasurable experience.

OK. I need to separate my reviews. 3 stars ONLY to be neutral. NOW... The grocery side as everyone else says is nice. ALL the staff are good. Quality is better than anything else around our little town. Prices? Yes.. Higher but you gotta pay people good to have good people.. Period. OVER ALL? 4.5 stars. Not 5 because the Prices can make it difficult to keep them a permanent option.THE TRADITIONAL DELI. Wonderful 5 stars.The burger, sandwich joint in the deli? UM YAH.. Not so much..Ordering was fun but was apparent the cook was not a culinary master.. Could only work one order at a time and took FOREVER.I had a Philly Cheesesteak with Chili fries.Wife had brisket and garlic fries.Start with the Fries. Soggy and just not very good. The Chili tasted like a standard can of Stagg. Nothing noteworthy. Microwaved cheese on top.. Un inspired.The Philly had good flavors and quality meet. Unfortunately they were heavy handed with the Philly sauce. Almost made it unedible. The bun was barely toasted and the second half of the sandwich was soggy and gross.Wives brisket. Flavor was good at first but became overpowering. Again heavy handed on the sauce. She couldn't tell the difference between the meat and the soggy bread as it was maybe too tender.So if your going to try it? Grab you wallet and clear your calendar. Expensive and takes forever. 2 stars. Will NOT be doing that again.Rothschild as a whole is wonderful to have next door. They win a lot and lose some along the way. WE STILL LOVE YOU sry about the bad part of the review.

Bought two breakfast burritos and two drinks the total was 17 dollars. The burritos were filled with a grey meat that looked like sausage and tasted like chicken. They were bone dry. The food sat in my stomach wrong. Not good and overpriced.

Fine market for all your grocery needs! Friendly staff insists on carrying groceries to your car. Great variety inside the store includes ample selection of organic and local produce, fresh seafood and dairy, great selection of frozen treats and local ales and ciders. Go!!

Everything is way too overpriced, the produce is horrible, the donuts are pretty good but we have tried a few different things from bakery and deli that tasted old and a little stale. Safeway is a lot cheaper and has a much higher quality of food and produce. but mainly it's way too overpriced when you can drive less than a mile to Safeway and pay way less
