The store smells, it's small and old and is the worst Grocery Outlet in Oregon I think. The cashiers are very unfriendly and aggressive. I think they'd rather spit on you then help. And good luck getting any of them to bag your items!

Very bad experience with the store manager at this store location. I have been shopping there for 20 years and never had such a bad customer service.. They know me since I have been shopping there so long. I needed to return a product that was bad and tasted bad, too but I didn't keep the receipt. It was about $10. The manager stubbornly refused to refund me because I didn't have the receipt. In fact, they still have this product in the store and the cashier said someone returned it , too, before me. The manager said "I can throw it away for you, but can't refund you"! Very disappointed!!!

This place is awesome if you're looking for a quick cheap meal the downside is that you're not always going to find everything that you would at a normal grocery store and then there are things that I that I really try to look for the deals that are online cuz sometimes things are overmarked not often but you're more successful to save you money if you are looking for the deals

This is the place to stock up on things like Rice ,various dried beans and canned good . They also have a hell of a snack isle too !

Great place to shop at a moment’s notice, even open late on Sunday’s & most all the time they have just what you’re looking for, may not be the biggest of products but it will save you in a pinch every time. Love this place !!

Specifically went to "the bargain market" in hopes for a lesser grocery bill. HIGHLY disappointed in the fact that after making a special trip and purchasing grocery items, I then needed some items at Safeway and realized that every item I purchased from grocery outlet was in fact cheaper at Safeway.

Great selections but one must watch the expiration dates as well as labels as to where things were manufactured. Produce is very very good. Also frozen goods have lots of great deals. Store needs to be bigger as it can be a bit congested when super busy. However this store does not leave people waiting for long periods to check out as some of our big chain stores do. They call for more ckerks Pronto if more than a few are at the check stands.Employees are friendly and helpful - especially those stocking shelves, always willing to stop what they are busy doing to help a customer in any way. Kudos to them, as they make a lasting impression of the store in general.Check out their meat, I've purchased it several times now and found it every bit as good as stores like safeway or albertsons.

Always get more than I come in for, good prices. Just be a smart shopper and you'll be happy with what you get. Check expiration and sale items, some are a variety like fat free. They are good about keeping stocked but some items are one offs so you won't always find it twice. Enjoy finding and trying news things. I appreciate the organic or uncured items that are stupidly expensive elsewhere.

This store is great. It's a little messy and cramped, but the service and product selection is top notch. I started coming here after I ran in to see if they had kombucha real quick. I was surprised to find kombucha along with a lot of the other food products I eat. I eat a lot of food that most people consider healthy and while it isn't hard to find it's usually very expensive; not here. I pay $40 dollars for the same amount and type of products that I would pay at least twice the amount elsewhere. I really look forward to coming here and actually call it my new health good store.

I had not been to this store in a long time, but stopped in to get a specific item I couldn't find at the other stores in town. What a huge improvements it has made over the last year or so!! Its clean, well organized and there is help to be found that genuinely act like they are happy to help. The produce is very nice with a large selection. I also noted they carry much better fresh meat than before. I will absolutely be coming back on a regular basis!

The staff is wonderful, and you can always find a good deal. I stop in here to see what they have before I move on to a more traditional grocery store to get any left over grocery list items. I like the grocery outlet in stayton more then the Salem ones.

I love the store but I have to say my cashier today was extremely slow. The couple in front of me had quite a larger order but literally even with a backed-up line she didn't seem to be in any hurry at all and did not call for a second checker. Had she been interacting with the patrons I would have had no problem with it but she just didn't seem to care and move at a snail's pace. 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
