Absolutely excellent customer service given by Ashley ! As soon as we walked in she had a smile and was very friendly. She told us the special of the month (shrimp fettuccine and the Godfather Burger 🍔) we ordered the Godfather burger and it was one of the BEST burgers we’ve ever had!! You must try the Godfather! I actually didn’t even get a picture as I ate it all as soon as I had a bite of it! The beef they use for the burgers here is definitely high quality! Ashley also prepared me a delicious margarita! If you want delicious local food and excellent customer service then come to the Broken Barrel 💯

Nice place. Friendly people with good food and a nice selection of micro brews. I had the grownup grilled cheese on sourdough with a local brown ale.Tasty.Stop on by.. you won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Very helpful with the wife's gluten sensitivity.

What a delicious experience! My first time going, never even knew about it. Will definitely return and recommend to my friends. Had an amazing berry (huckleberry) lemon drop. The lemon was on point! Then came my burger! The fresh cibatta bun was such a compliment to the melt in your mouth burger. Thank you so much for the great service and the fantastic food and drinks!

I was traveling through with a film crew and one of the locals suggested we dine at Broken Barrel. Long story short, it was so good that we ate here four times that week!Broken Barrel might just be the best restaurant in the Stanfield/Hermiston area.The establishment itself is on the smaller side, but nothing about it feels crowded or congested. The aesthetic is somewhat bar-like, but to simply label Broken Barrel as a bar that serves “bar food” would be a misnomer.Over the course of the four meals I had here, I was able to sample several appetizers and entrees as well as interact with the staff, which brings me to my first point. The entire staff is friendly and hospitable. They were helpful and attentive and all showed their unique personalities as opposed to mechanistically performing their duties.For appetizers, I suggest the sampler platter. The fried pickles were the true hero here. I’ve only had fried pickles served as chips, so to serve them as quarter spears in an egg roll wrapper—genius. The pickles still had some crunch too! The fresh beer battered onion rings were also delicious.It’s worth noting that many of their fried appetizers are prepared in egg roll wraps, something I actually appreciated. The pizza sticks and jalapeño poppers are close seconds as to the best appetizer.For entrees… every single entree I had was superb. The sides like the apple slaw and potato salad could use a little work—perhaps some acidity or even a little more salt.The Cowgirl Chicken Wrap was my favorite. It offered the perfect amount of spice and a slight tang from the sauce.The Paradise Wrap was good, but the teriyaki sauce was a little on the sweet side. That said, I’d still order it again!The Avocado BLT (add bacon) is a no-brainer. Serving it on sourdough was the icing on the cake.Now, the real star was the lunch special, Cajun Shrimp Tacos. Our entire table order them and gave them two thumbs up. The Cajun spices, spicy jalapeño juxtaposed over the fresh sliced strawberries–chef’s kiss.Occasionally, during my travels, I come across a place that beckons me to return to that city. Broken Barrel is one of those places!

A little treasure. Doesn't look like more than a local dive, but it has so much more to offer. Really great food. Loved the cheese sticks. Comes with a variety of six homemade sauces. Burger is fresh local beef. Buns are soft and fresh. Chicken sando was also great. Draft beer selection was broad. And the people are nice! Don't go any further. Enjoy a great time here!

We always stop here on our semi 🚛 Truck travels Through Oregon. Friendly and great food ! Worth the stop .Also try the Pizza sticks 😁My hubs is obsessed and we've eaten this type of food all over the country lol. Also the dinner salad w a crispy chicken side - the chicken is good all by itself and in large quantity. The honey mustard dressing seems homemade not sure but it is really good as well. Hope to stop in on the next trip.Vegetarian options: The salads are well made .Dietary restrictions: They do try and make what you want how you want it .Kid-friendliness: Would be ok for kids who can sit and dineWheelchair accessibility: Can be accommodated

Great stopping spot! Place is the picture of a home town bar with a 5 star menu. Great beer selections and served cleverly in charming Mason jars. Now the food was well made, the mixture of sauces and toppings are well thought out. Got the pizza sticks to start which were amazing. Then we got the adult grilled cheese, and spicy burger. All happiness met us and followed us all day. Definitely worth the stop

Fantastic burgers! I ordered the spicy Cowboy Burger with crispy fries. We ordered the Cheese Sticks as an appetizer...they were the BEST I have ever tasted...Too bad we are passing through the area as I would eat here often!!!Service was warm, friendly and helpful!The entire lunch experience was amazing! Exit 188, Stanfield, OR. Go north two miles into Stanfield. Well worth the effort as you'll be impressed with their food and service!

Thought we'd try we'd never been to before, and it was totally worth it. Service was fantastic and then the food arrived. Best mushroom swiss burger ever, made using local beef for the win. The honey chicken wrap was the best wrap I've ever had. Menu fairly limited, but that's better than lots of items that aren't impressive. We retuned on Saturday for their prime reb dinner. It was delicious. Prime rib was cooked to perfection,served with a side salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Great margaritas too. Highly recommend.

Very delicious! I got the Let's Go Nuts burger, which was very saucy and juicy and amazing. The portions are big, but expect to spend in the $20+ per person range (including drinks). My table also got an order of the Scottish Eggs which were very good and came with a tangy and sweet honey mustard.Service was good, our waitress was very polite and helpful.

What a great little place. I read other reviews and had to try this place while in from out of town for a work project. The honey chicken wrap w/parm fries is where it’s at. Also tried the fried pickles, which were very good also. Now equally as important…the service, which can make or break a place. Samantha took care of me. She was great and because of her, I’ll be back when I’m in town next. Give this place a go!
