Michelle at starbucks was SO AMAZING. She greeted me with a smile on her face and told me about the deals going on. She absolutely made my morning and she deserves a huge raise!!! You can tell she truly cares about her job and wants to make everyone feels seen and heard. Someone in that store needs to give her a raise and a huge shoutout. She’s awesome!!

Late night craving led me to Safeway’s bakery. The local donut store was already closed, and I just couldn’t resist getting the last batch. Colorful and gooey. Perfect for Halloween season.

I bought some type of black grapes a couple of days ago and they were all moldy inside the container so I was not very happy about that. I going to give it a three because I really like the people there, but watch out for the fruit that they package and they hide underneath the nice looking fruit!

I do not appreciate being verbally assulted by a cashier while, I was attempting to leave the store, due to the cashier's attitude while I was attempting to check out.Poor customer service with that individual very poor. Hope they have a better day.

Kristin W. is so awesome. Seriously above and beyond costumer service. I was "that person", I changed my mind, I did a return I went back and forth, Emily W. and Kristin W. both helped figure it all out for me more than once, we're patient, understanding and supported all the above. They both deserve a raise soon if not right now, I would tip if they accepted tips!!!Kristin you are the bomb and Emily you held it down! Thank you all!!

Staff is helpful & friendly .. place is pretty clean. I tend to judge a place more on how the fresh fruits and veggies look. If there is alot of rotten or browning.. I'd say, I'm my opinion the place isn't keeping up with there establishment. The savings are ok. Not like Walmart or Winco but of course. There Starbucks is fresh fresh. 😋 I took a photo of the dessert area. They have plenty of cake choices.! Thats a plus.! I'm only giving 4 stars on the fact it is a Lil high on the prices. However they carry things other places do not. Yes i will return. Happy shopping 🛍

Ordered a Sandwich from the deli, worker trys to put greyish green meat on my sandwich! Even though she started to put it in the trash.. Then the chews was dried out she tells me!! Do I want something else? No I want cheese that is not dried out that comes on the Italian Sandwich your making for me that I ordered. So please restock with fresh.. Add to this she keeps wiping her to bed hands on the front of her soiled apron..I really at this point started looking at their ingredients..The avocado spread was dried out and Browning, the cucumbers were so old the flesh was transparent.The photos will be sent to the health dept.

What do you really want to know? Clean. All of your standard Safeway features and foods with a Pharmacy and a Starbucks. Drive Up and Go has been given some of the best parking in their location. Other interesting businesses nearby and Freeway access within a couple of lights.

First Trip to this Safeway - Good VibesHad my first run at Safeway recently and walked away pretty happy with the experience. The staff was super helpful, showing me around and making me feel welcome. Scored some sweet deals too - just had to punch in my phone number at the register. Would've liked a bit more perfection but hey, it's a solid four stars from me. Definitely will be going back.

This isnt one of the best safeway stores, i usually go to the one in cottage grove and its super nice. This particular location is pretty nasty. I used to live close by so went there often and EVERY time ive been there there are homeless people hanging out outside. The store itself is pretty clean.

I love this store. It's one of the few places where I can buy one of my favorite cheeses. I love their seasonal items. The store is kept clean. They have bathrooms on site. Employees are always helpful. Prices are good is you watch what you buy. I love their coupons. I can't say anything negative about this store.

On May 4 at 10 pm I attempted to buy orange juice at the Safeway 1891 Pioneer Pkwy E, Springfield, OR 9747. I was having a hypoglycemic episode. I have type 1 Diabetes. I am legally blind.I was unable to use the self checkout machine without assistance. I can't see the screen. It was the only register open. There were no other people waiting to check out. 2 different employees refused to help me.One employee asked "where is your white cane?" I use a wooden cane.Due to the ridicule and indifference of these employees I had a life threatening medical emergency that was easily preventable by allowing me to purchase orange juice.I could have died.The next day I contacted the store manager.Nothing has been done. No one has apologized. This can happen again.The Americans with Disabilities Act has been the law since 1990. Type 1 Diabetes and blindness are both covered by the ADA.I am angry.

I mean it's a Safeway. Same food as any other grocery store for nearly triple the price. They have a really good chocolate covered cheesecake slice its🤤 but one slice is $6. This specific Safeway always stinks inside. Smells like a public bathroom in an an open fish market. Safeway also has an EXCELLENT variety of fruit! They have exotic fruits I always love to try. And a good organic selection as well.

Very friendly staff, clean store, shelves full and organized. The Safeway app is such a bonus, being able to earn rewards towards fuel points or free food items! Just can't beat that. This store has very competitive prices and quality products for those prices!! Love this store.

I generally find Safeway stores to be a very good store for groceries ranging from produce to bakery goods. I was looking for there cream puffs, a combination of the powdered sugar & chocolate topped variety, a delicious pastry indeed! I have to point out that of all the stores I shop at, Safeway is at the top regarding costs & the rewards card is very handy. I do recommend that a shopper obtain the Rewards card if they haven't already & utilize the good deals offered there within.

It's mostly convenient for me since it's right at an EmEx stop. Having my pharmacy here makes it easy to combine picking up meds with any grocery shopping I need to do.

Everyone who works here is always so nice. I usually use the app to click coupons. The 4u deals are worth going. I also use Safeway for my money orders. Kudos to the workers who are always ripping and running.

Lots of running around just because of myself remembering a few things on my list ..they need to be able to say whether the free items are available or not and whether there's an order that has gone through regarding pick up and deliver to phone via text. .I believe someone used my food stamps on an order after I went through and purchased my groceries.. make sure it's their food stamps cashier

So I've been going to this particular store since the late 90's. It has improved greatly over the years and one of the things I enjoyed about Safeway is the Deli. But the past 2weeks the Deli has been closed by the time I get off work which is 5pmish. I've ask management why and she literally shrugged her shoulders at me. Seriously.... That's what you call customer service? What's going on? I'm ready to take my business elsewhere due to SERIOUS lack of customer service over the past few months. We ALL work hard for a paycheck, we'll most, and it's our right to choose where to spend our money. I personally don't have time for incompetence or lack of customer service, especially in a grocery store. If it weren't for us customers, there would be NO store..... Just an explanation of WHY the Deli is closed by 5pm is ALL I'm asking... Thank You for letting me vent....

Don’t apply here if you actually want to be respected as someone who also shops here there customer service is great but as someone who also applied here you are treated like trash got told they would start me at $13.75 a hour that’s not even a wage someone can live on and the only way that wage would change is if they moved you departments I also just got a call from the guy who interviewed me saying there are to many issues because I told him I had to talk to a tax expert to make sure I could have two different last names on my W2 s but clearly that’s a issue for them even know they have to take legal steps he wasn’t kind at all honestly wouldn’t recommend applying here with his attitude as clearly they wasted my time and don’t care they only care about taking action they need to make sure there covered

If you ever need a pharmacy, DO NOT go here. Everyone's short-staffed nowadays that's just kind of the world we live in.. and there needs to be some compassion with that absolutely. But not only are these pharmacists always rude but they're too busy to help anyone. I am not basing this on one experience and basing as multiple, I just had to call and have a manager go help me with issues with a pharmacist well my daughter is in the emergency room and I can't get her meds available to her because no one can ever answer the phone. As a parent, that's INFURIATING. I will say that the manager jay, tried very hard to make it right.. and if this was one occasion it would be okay. But if you can, go anywhere else.

I use to go to this store, all the time. I went to self checkout and I had used the digital coupons on the app only I was unaware there was a step added to using them. Josh was working the area and was pretty rude. Started with, after seeing my phone, " your first mistake is, you used the scanner" referring to the one in the app. I explained I had used it a while in the past and then he showed me where the extra step was. I let him know that it use to be different, not saying he was wrong as how it is now. He then walks away, before finishing with me and was he walks away, he says he's been working there for 3 years. Which is probably true, but I doubt he's been working at registers anywhere near that long. I'm now annoyed and state that I started shopping there 10 years ago, he's now literally helping someone else, he says he doesn't care. I call for a manager. He comes back, tells me he stopped helping me because I was being argumentive. I guess because I was staying things had changed. He started calling me "bud". I told him not to call me that, I'm not your buddy or friend. He tells me that's the way he speaks and he's not changing how he speaks for anyone. I expressed that it's not okay to call me whatever he wants to call me and then the manager showed up. He helped me finish my transaction and applied all the discounts. I thanked him. He did say he would handle the situation. I believe him. My experience overall, was really bad.

I love the 'bad' Americanized Chinese food at Safeway but this one is terrible. The fried rice is made with lots of chicken stock and too much black pepper (neither should be in fried rice, watch Uncle Roger video for god's sake), the General Tsao was also bland except the ridiculous amount of red pepper flakes, and the egg rolls were very soggy. I thought this stuff was the same at every store but this one apparently does it differently. Do not recommend.

Knowing where everything is is a plus but who puts the beverage aisle in the far right corner of the store? What that clearly says is that they are too lazy to stock items or just does not want to sell drinks at all. Also, why does your time state open till 11pm on a Thursday but clearly is not true. This store manger must lead by example and forget writing back to peoples comments on these reviews. I am sorry if I hurt anyone feelings. This was my home store until tonight. I really hope you guys fix this for other folks who work till 930pm. 3 times in 2 weeks means I’ll drive further to get things accomplished. Thanks for reading.

Changing pharmacies because they literally don’t answer their phone ever!. I’m almost 100% sure that it might be racist or just super rude went in asking customer service for quarters like to swap out for a twenty and they said they couldn’t do it which makes no sense why they couldn’t do it but they did it before maybe it’s because I had my boyfriend ask and he’s African American like why suddenly they just can’t but can for someone with a difference skin color just weird
