☆Another shopping experience where its apparent that those already struggling to put food on the dinner table are being forced to prioritize their limited resources even more.Fred Meyer, along with Kroger brands, which I had no knowledge of until I spent many years in Kentucky, has always been my favorite Super Market , The 10 for 10 deal was a favorite event for me.Fred Meyer has an incredible Deli & Bakery, along with an equally impressive meat & and produce department.In addition, there are other departments, from clothing & shoesto toys, sporting, auto & household goods, allowing customers to check off a lot of items on your shopping list in one place.☆One way Fred Meyer is making it a bit easier for the American familyis with their ☆Rewards Program, which I am often able to save a significant amount of money using. Regarding some products I was noticing a higher price @ Fred Meyer than at another major competitor who doesn't have any club or reward programs, so at the end of the day it seems necessary to use multiple grocery & department stores in order to take advantage of the different sales & specials that each offer.* The savings at the Fred Meyer Fuel Station can be very impressive after a big shopping trip.

I came into this Fred Meyer in north Springfield, coming in for a few quick items, I was surprised by how many employees greeted me and offered me assistance in finding what I was looking for. This location had no wait times during my visit, the store was clean and great in-stock. I will shop at this location again in the future.

Of all the stores in Springfield, this is one of them. House of Large Business. Endless aisles of every descriptive and nondescript item, clothing, furnishings, soap. No alabaster. No synchronicity. Adapters, yes. A place to repose in wonder? Yes, a Starbucks is on hand. Friendly folk.

This fred meyer is honestly my favorite one in the Eugene & Springfield area. They often stock items before the other two fred Meyers do. And the employees here have almost always been kind and helpful. When I went to see if they had stocked the Valentine's Day Squishmallows I was pleased to find they were completely stocked, there was a TON of Squishmallows on the shelves and I was able to find almost all the ones I was looking for.

We some from Utah and shopped at Smith's all the time. When we moved to Oregon i was in need for their delectable Garlic Bread. We traveled here and I was not disappointed. I walked in, and just as I had remembered, there was the Garlic Bread I needed to fulfill my taste buds request.Apart from that, a normal grocery / retail store with clothing and food galore.Decently clean, helpful staff, and we finally found that welcome mat we've been looking for.

On multiple occasions that the discounts displayed at the aisles were not applied at checkout. It's important for the store to address this issue as it could be perceived as unethical, and potentially illegal.

It appears that FM has transformed their stores for extreme profits. Today a block of sharp cheddar cheese was 13.99. I went to Costco and bought it for 8.35. No longer a neighbor hood market, just another ripoff for consumers. Employees overworked and no customer service. Sound familiar?

Went to buy a bottle of shampoo, it wouldn't scan. The self check caisher went to find out why, she said it had been removed from a dual purchase pack that also had conditioner. Ok it would have been fine until she said we have jerky customers and its not our fault. I definitely don't want to shop where the store thinks they have jerky customers, and it is your fault to some extent. The person stocking the shelf should have caught the mistake and removed the item. She had such a bad attitude. Never again will I be back, especially with Safeway just down the street

Very clean and easy to navigate. Top brands on clothes and food. Organic and vegan food options as well. Can basically find whatever you need to fuel your body as well as clothes, furniture, cooking supplies, and fun. Customer service is hit and miss.

Really great staff, only ever used pickup for groceries, or the outdoor garden center, so can't tell you about the inside. Minimal issues picking up groceries, and enjoy the fuel discount.

I came to cash a check as I have with them many times previously, only this time I was denied without explanation. I was told to call a number on the receipt. Not only was that useless, I was told they'd give me a reason IF I GAVE THEM MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER!!!! I. the past I was well dressed but this time I was wearing my work clothes. It was discrimination

Treats everyone like they are stealing. Hire more cashiers if you don’t trust people to ring themselves up. There are 12 self checkout stations and you are lucky if there is more than one register open run by an actual cashier. Not everyone is stealing right now. Do better. Not fresh for everyone.

Honestly the produce section is disgusting. I find something moldy in the produce cold case almost every trip. The rest of the store is okay but selection seems smaller than other Freds.

The lazy guy with a beard deli worker gave me a price slashed (old) lb of ham after I asked for him to give me a fresh pound he literally took the meat out pretended to go cut it and handed me a discount old lb, what kind of establishment are you running here

Yesterday I visited this store the item I wished to purchase required ID (not alcohol or tobacco). I typically just bring in my debit card, when I expressed my frustration with a policy clearly aimed at potential theft and misuse of the product, the clerk actually said to me....if you don't plan to use it inappropriately why does it bother you to to show ID. I said it was inconvenient as I don't usually bring it in. She was curt and sarcastic and I walked away when my back was to her she says, "have a nice day". Shame on me I used an expletive, she then says..."insanity". I asked for a manager and was suddenly being bullied by a security person who was standing too close and just plain rude. I spoke with a manager who was polite and attempted to calm things down and said they are a family stor and don't like expletives. The the security guy just got weird...this guy was over 6 foot I am 5'2 and a senior citizen, he told me to leave, he said terrible thing including calling me a c%/t....yes outloud,another customer heard him. He threatened to arrest me if I came back to the store, I reminded him that he is not a cop but rather a cop wanna be....then he says "that's a shoplifter statement. NNothing I said or any woman says deserves to be called the C word. Shame on Fred Meyer.

Honestly, my experience today I did not like it at all because one of the cashiers named Shannon was very rude and attended as reluctantly and so with those experiences you don't even want to go shopping again, one prefers to look for other stores, one hopes that they will attend to it. in a way not as ugly as taking it out on customers sincerely they need new customer serviceThat's why i'll give one Star

It's hit or miss in getting a happy or healthy check out person. They seemed to have stopped requiring a "great attitude" in the job description. Their prices have tripled, but the quality went down. Convenience is the only reason I still shop there.

Horrible customer service (aside from the lady I encountered at customer service, she was very nice and apologetic). They label products with the wrong price so that when you get up to cash out you look like an idiot (and they treat you like one as well). Went to buy 2 blankets that were labeled for $7.99, as clearly picture below, and they rang up for $9.98 roughly. I mentioned that they were labeled otherwise and that I could go and grab the price tag or a photo really quick and I was told no and that they would call the manager. After to explaining to the manager, and a couple of "mmhhmm", the cashier said "Yea that's what I thought", hung up and told me I was wrong and asked if I still wanted to purchase them, to which I replied no. I was frustrated because this isn't the first time this has happened at this location. So I went, snapped a picture of the tag with the blankets visible, grabbed two of the ones I had earlier and went to customer service. When I got there, the lady helping me (I'm sorry I can't remember her name because she was very nice) explained that maybe the math was done wrong but that it was clearly labeled $7.99. She honored the price and apologized the the situation. That interaction is the ONLY reason I did not rate this lower. I know it seems silly to make a big deal over a few dollars but it's not that. I work in customer service and I would never dream of talking to a customer who is trying to explain something like that. The cashier and her boss should take notes from the lovely lady in the customer service area.

12/19/2022I would really like it if someone would have a meeting with me to discuss the behavior of your staff tonight. I was in a hurry and did not know you closed at 10pm. Your closing staff verbally bullied and harassed my friend and I for not leaving exactly at 10pm. Only one staff member behaved professionally and politely. I hardly shop at that hour and my friend and I both only carried 4 items each to check out. We are both moms who work full time and have a full plate. We did not feel welcomed or respected as customers except by only one of your staff members. We were out of there about 15 minutes after closing. We were not lingering and chatting with each other. Just quickly finding what we needed and heading out because we were aware of the time and heard the call. We would have been out of there sooner had more workers been happy to help and not so combative.

Shopping here would be a much better experience if they didn't allow third party sales people to harass you about phone plans on your way out of the store. I've had to turn down the same salesmen more times then I can count.

The lottery machines weren’t working and the cashier at the service desk wouldn’t sell me a lottery ticket “because the lottery closed for the night”. It was 9:45 and the lottery doesn’t close till midnight. I asked if I could get a ticket and I got a short “no”. Then after I said okay she explained, but saying something else like “I’m sorry, but…” would’ve felt kinder than a straight no. The cashier was also kind of rude and short with the people in front of me. I understand that it was 15 minutes before close but not being honest about when the lottery is closed is a little suspicious.

Fred Meyer prices are a little higher than some other places, but they truly do have almost everything you need.They had a good selection of men's clothes for back to school.

Wish the discounts would apply under each sale item as you scan them and not all clumped together at the end. Ive experience the system not being acurate, but have to move out of line to go over reciept, then have to bother the cashier after the fact.
