It seems like recently this Rite Aid hired many new employees in their pharmacy which have been exceedingly friendly and helpful compared to the experiences I had before. A while back I switched pharmacies specifically because of how rude the staff were, but the newer staff have made picking up prescriptions easy and comfortable!

Pharmacy has consistently terrible customer service. VERY difficult to reach by phone. Arrogant and completely uncaring pharmacy staff every time we've needed their assistance, unfortunately.

I had left a good review previously, because I had a good experience once. THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!!!Although I've had a few good exchanges with one employee, as a whole I am so angry! Everything changed when I lost my "good insurance" and had to go on OHP. Now, all of the sudden they have issues with anything I have that is "controlled". Now all of the sudden they don't have it in stock, or it's "too early ". I have NEVER filled "early". When did a pharmacist become my Dr???? I asked my Dr to take me off my pain meds and because my Dr DID, and wrote me an amendment to my medication they would not fill it until 4 days later. But now all my other scripts (controlled) are on hold because of it being "too early". They are blaming insurance, except that was never an issue until now. When I went in.... turns out, insurance was fine. They just had to "try to bypass it " which..... surprisedly 🙄 they were able to 🙄 SO tired of pharmacists playing Dr until they are caught. My Dr went to school A LOT LONGER than a pharmacist. Im done being treated poorly because some of my scripts are controlled. It's NOT your job to decide what I need. It's myDr's!!This week has been hell simply because a pharmacist decided that he knew better than my doctor..... weird since it wasn't a problem until I had state insurance all of the sudden.....

I called at least 20 times to talk to a pharmacist and no one picked up. I called the other line for merchandise to see if someone can get the phone to a pharmacist and they hung up. Clearly this is an issue that they won’t fix because they simply don’t care if you’re in pain or not. I have strep and I’m trying to see if my antibiotics are ready but no one wants to answer. Do better rite aid you clearly don’t care about people’s health

I usually don’t post negative reviews but I have to warn people about rite aid pharmacy in Silverton. If you want your time wasted go here. I had a time sensitive prescription I needed. I allowed a few hours to pass to pick it up and it was not ready then after having me wait for it to be ready they said they are out of stock. Come back next day so I come back 2 days later and it was never delivered but they Did bill my insurance; so a different pharmacy could not fill until it was released from rite aid. Horrible place only helpful person was the lady with purple hair. Will never recommend or visit this place again.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. I gave it a try because it’s local and accepts GoodRx. My attempt to start using them was filled with nothing but horrible results. For my dogs prescription, the vet I use said they are horrible and I should try someone else. But I thought I’d give it a chance…the vet was right, they’re horrible. They are rude, not efficient, condescending, unfriendly, …what more can I say. The pharmacist helping me was rude to me and then criticized a new employee right in front of me as my bill was being processed. Also, she didn’t honor good Rx price and told me she tells people not to use it…she was rude and obviously ignorant displaying an attitude of I self importance; never going back to this place! Stay clear of this pharmacy!!!

Pharmacists are absolutely wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. Every other employee behind the pharmacy counter who helps customers are so rude. I feel awful everytime I leave there. I understand people are overworked these days, but gosh I'm so nice and get grief every single time, it's an awful experience every month.

This rite aid pharmacy here in Silverton is the worst pharmacy I have ever used in my live. From the moment they receive your prescription from your doctor it takes them about 5-8 hours to put 30 or 40 pills in a bottle. They are always under staffed. They never answer their phones. If they do you'll be asked to hold for about 20 min. Don't bother going through the drive through it takes them about 30 min per customer not to mention the pharmacist takes a 2 hour lunch so if he's not there they can't release your meds to you. 1 star is too generous for them. It's too bad there is not another pharmacy in town open later.

Why do you continue notifying me about refills ready for pickup one month after you say that you transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy? They still have not received any transfers.People still working for you are outstanding, but they can't do the impossible while under staffed. Please offer them more compensation. Low prices mean nothing if I can't get my medication. This is a Corporate problem, not a Silverton one.

I've called twice today, but no one picks up the phone. This second time, just now? Someone picked up the phone to hang up my call because i sat pressing the number 3 for TEN MINUTES trying to get a hold of someone. Because they can't answer, i am currently still in extreme pain and they're prolonging that. I just need to know if my meds are ready. For my THIRD VISIT of today, because they can't redo a bill that has no insurance in less than three hours. I'm very very upset and in extreme pain, thanks for making my condition worse. :)EDIT:1st call- 4 minutes, then i hung up.2nd call - 10 minutes then THEY hung up3rd call- 15 minutes and I hangup again bc no one is answering.my mom has called and had no luck either. now my infection gets to wait another day to be treated because of this place. i genuinely can't understand this.

We have always had an excellent experience at Silverton Rite Aid. The people are friendly and helpful. The pharmacy sends a text when our prescriptions are ready which is much appreciated. They answer all our questions and work hard to make sure the insurance right so we don’t overpay.

This review is for the pharmacy only. We called ahead in the morning to refill a prescription. We selected to have it filled no later than 5p. We arrived at 7p after waiting more than 10 minutes in the drive thru. The prescription still wasn't ready. The lady we spoke to, Susan was very rude. We asked why it wasn't ready attempting to explain that we had received a confirmation it would be ready. She continuously cut us off in mid sentence with a response of "10 more minutes". We have been very patient with this pharmacy and their lack of customer service for over a year. This was the last straw. We're taking our business elsewhere. I highly recommend you do the same!

Often unavailable on the phone as well as long wait. Also think that we had a floater is an ok excuse for mess ups. I'm sorry but floater or not peoples medications are being dealt with so anyone behind the counter should be fully qualified.

Pharmacy staff is very rude, to include the new pharmacist. We had many problems there since the old pharmacist (the gentlemen from India) left. I recommend you use another pharmacy!

This rite aid is so slow they make you wait 45 plus minutes to fill a prescription even if you are the first person in the store. Some not all are so rude. While waiting I watch as they just stand and talk. Now I know that it's never going to change. Attie the hard pharmacist is great and works hard to get the job done.

Hands down the worst customer service in a pharmacy I’ve ever had. I am currently on hold while I write this. If you’re looking to have your refills late every single time, then this is the place for you! If you’re looking to spend half an hour on hold to ask a question that would take 30 seconds to answer then this is the place for you. Absolutely atrocious work ethic and service. If I could leave a half star review I would. When people need medications that are important to their health, I hope they don’t go through rite aid.

The pharmacy is terrible. No one in the pharmacy has any customer service skills. Each time, with different employees, I have had rude and short toned people. Had an early afternoon appointment, doc said the prescription would be ready for pick up in just a few hours. I went in late evening and they said they still needed another hour to fill and that they would text me when it was ready. Never got the text. Went in the next day and it was sitting there ready for me. When the pharmacist rang me up it cost over $20 more than what Walmart charged me. When I said no thanks I’ll go somewhere cheaper she just walked away without saying anything. I’ll make the extra drive to Walmart for better prices and better customer service.

We use the Silverton Rite Aid for urgent prescriptions only because of the mail order requirements of our insurance coverage but go regularly for other items. I’m reviewing because our experiences are generally terrific. I’ve never encountered anyone that isn’t friendly, courteous, and helpful. During COVID, they’ve had empty shelves similar to other stores. I think the pharmacy could use additional staff but also am aware that those decisions aren’t likely made locally, not unlike the rest of corporate America.

The Rxs were phoned to them at 11am. It is for post surgery meds and was needed immediately. At 3pm they were not ready. When my husband and I explained the urgency the pharmacist said "we're behind 4 days. 4 hours is nothing." I had the Dr send the rxs to High School Pharmacy. They were able to fill them for me in 10 minutes.I had an even worse experience a few months ago with Rite Aid. Similar urgent need for post op meds which was explained to them. They said a couple of hours. I went to check and they weren't ready. They msged at 5:50 (this was a weekend) that the rx was ready. I arrived at drive thru at 5:58 which was as quick as possible but they had already closed the Pharmacy. There was a pharmacy staff member there but they refused to give me the rx.Never again.

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. The people that work there are so rude. I've had to wait over 10 hours to get a simple prescription filled which is completely unacceptable. On average it takes about 8 hours to get anything filled which is just ridiculous. If you're looking for a pharmacy in silverton I would suggest high school pharmacy. Everything is done within like 15 minutes.

I will NEVER use this pharmacy again. My son's amoxicillin script was sent in at 930am. At 10am, I was told to come back at 1230. At 1pm, I was told to come BACK at 230pm. 5 hours to fill up a bottle with medication?!? After complaining, and asking my script to be sent to a different pharmacy, my son's medicine was ready in less than 2 minutes.Ridiculous. This has happened so many times, and not just to me, as many of the other reviews are stating. You've lost a customer. Too bad for you- my son gets strep A LOT, so we will just give our money to a different pharmacy.

Many of the display and overhead lights have been flickering for months. With the horror movie lights and the bad rap or country music absolutely blaring through the worn out speakers, I leave my 45 minute wait to pick up a prescription refill that they texted me is ready with a headache every time.

This Pharmacy deserves negative five stars. Seriously for your own safety, well-being, and dignity avoid this place at all cost. I mean just look at the reviews one after another I can't even believe this place is still functioning and running. The only name I could get was Iris but the other two woman were even worse than that young lady. So much disrespect, absolutely no regard for kindness or compassion. This is YOUR JOB LADIES! You GET PAID to work here. Seriously it's disgusting. This is such an important job. People's lives are in your hands! You don't take that seriously?! If you want to act like a disrespectful, 12 year old, go back to middle school. I am a small business owner, I treat EVERYONE with respect. It doesn't matter where I am, if I am at the grocery store if I am at the restaurant, if I am walking my dog anyone that passes me anyone I come in contact with I treat with respect. This is your dang job y'all need to be fired and that's an understatement.

If I could rate with a negative I would. Unfortunately to leave a comment, I had to rate something. I understand most places are understaffed due to covid, however waiting on the line for 20+ minutes just to get a refill on a prescription through the pharmacy is quite ridiculous, after reading other comments it seems this location is not popular. The location I work at is constantly in over our heads busy in the pharmacy, yet they can still get customers in and out quicker than this Silverton Rite Aid ever could. I will be keeping my business over in the oregon city location from now on.

You can never get anyone on the phone especially pharmacy. 8 rings and back to the automated directory. The shelves are less stocked than other places. Service not great.

The pharmacy is a complete joke. They will have prescription that were sent over from a doctors office for 4+ hours then tell you that they need 2 more hours to fill it because I the customer didn’t call to have it put in line. You would think the fact a doctor send over a prescription for a patient means that it should be put in line to fill. The older male pharmacist is completely rude and the younger male cashier person is even more rude. I really hoped with them getting a drive thru that it would speed up the time it took to get prescriptions but it has just made it take ten times longer. I have also had to tell them no less that 15 times to stop auto filling several medications I no longer use. Over all they are a complete mess and come across as incompetent.

Had a prescription refilled and it was a 90 day supply it was 11 days short only to be told it was a manufacturer pack yet it was in a regular prescription bottle. it's for lryca so now my wife has to suffer. This is another thing besides always having to wait days for refills. They honestly don't care about people who need their meds so now I'm going to stand at the checkout and count everything and if it comes out short I will be calling the police to report a thief

Worst customer service ever!!! I sent my husband to get our sick baby a few things he needed and when he went to pay, our card wouldn’t go through (we knew for a fact we had money in our account) and the lady told him that it wasn’t going through because their system was down as they were closing already so instead of trying to run their system again or trying to find a way to help my husband pay, they just kicked him out of the store because “they were closed” how ridiculous!! He was there 10 minutes before closing time and they didn’t have the courtesy to let him know that he needed to make his final purchase before they “turned down their system” for “closing time.”
