This hotel GOES ABOVE AND BEYONDPET FRIENDLYNO ONE CAN BEAT THE PRICEthe room has a big mini frig and microwave. Wifi is excellent!!They also have a store next to it. Can't beat those prices either. The owners go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. To some it might seem out dated but it's not! It is charming, wholesome, and the beds are so soft.I have traveled to 23 states and I have never been treated so well.Please feel free to call around to other hotels get their prices per night and ask their pet fee ( they dont except pets)... THEN you will see without a doubt best prices are here!!I could keep going on and on how wonderful this place is.

The room was not fancy, or big. But the sheets where clean, and the shower was hot. The TV was a little confusing, but I wasn't there to lay around anyways. There was a full size microwave, a good size mini fridge, and a single serving coffee pot. If you need s place to sleep and clean up after hunting, or fishing, or just hiking around the area, this is a nice quiet place to hang your hat for a few nights. I booked the room for 5 nights, and was so pleased I added another night. Just don't expect maid and turn down service here. It is a room not a resort. The store is the office for the hotel. David and his family do a good job of making you feel welcome.

Loved this place. First off the people couldn't have been friendlier. The rate was very good. The room was clean and had nice wood grain vinyl flooring, a tv, mini frig, microwave and coffee maker. This is definitely the place to stay if you are driving this lonely strip of road. If you are travelling at night give them a call beforehand as the store from where they run the motel closes at a reasonable hour.

Small comfortable rooms. Pet friendly. A nice quiet place to stay when wanting to get off the grid. I initially planned to stay only one night but ended up staying 3 nights. My German Shepherd and I did a lot of hiking and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Stayed at the motel. Small old room, but efficient with fridge, microwave and even 1cup coffee maker that can boil water for your oatmeal too. It took awhile to warm it up in Winter, but was just right by morning. Few steps from the town store and post office. WARNING: DO NOT USE POST OFFICE to mail gift cards, because my certified mail was stolen and never made it out of Lake County to USPS Distribution Center

Me and my mom were traveling to Seattle and we were blessed that this place was along the route. It started snowing in the middle of the night and it became too dark and scary to drive. We stopped here and were rested and ready to go in the morning. We loved the sweet people and the feel of a small town. Thank you so much for being there for weary travelers like us.

We showed up after eleven at night and were greeted with one of the warmest welcomes I have ever received. We were exhausted from a fifteen hour drive and were offered food, and a quiet, clean room. This was by far the best customer service I have ever experienced.

Great little motel. Nothing special, but nothing special needed when you need a motel on long trip.It's cool to see a little motel operating way out in a rural area like this. The place is like any motel you might see in a movie, the place where the action goes down, the couple on the run hides out, or the lawyer puts up his client that's in danger - and that is awesome. Feels like Americana here. Thumbs up.Conveniently, right next door to the motel is a little general store where you can stock up on snack and drink.There is also a little cafe nearby.Only complaint about the place is that there were a fair number of mosquitoes in the room. Had to do some mosquito squashing before going to bed. Family members staying in the next room didn't have that issue, though.

Very clean. Small but Cowboys didn't have big rooms. Inexpensive and 6 rms. Give it a try. Check in at the store. They sure are friendly an make you feel welcome.

Only motel around for miles but a good place to clean up get some rest before moving on. It's close to everything in the city. The store is next door, the gas station is just down the street and if you have reservations at the Cowboy dinner tree it's just 4 miles away.

Tried to rip us off. My boyfriend had paid for the motel but I was told he didn't and then I paid them. Had to drive 45 minutes back to get my money returned when I had a 3 hour drive ahead off me already. Room was dirty. Shower curtain had mold and mildew all over it.

Older but remodeled rooms, hot water, clean shower, comfy bed, close to cafe and gas station, friendly staff. Simple accommodations but fine for a night or two. Close to Fort Rock State Park, hiking trails, USFS headquarters, Homestead Museum in Fort Rock.

I was not very impressed with the room. Shower was pretty gross, what appeared to be black mold near the base of the shower pan. The beds were beyond awful and the linen's were obviously not recently cleaned.

Extremely cheap, and only place to stay in the area . . .but that is not an excuse to not clean the sheets or the bathroom what so ever. Pee, hair on the toilets. Dust everywhere. And stains on the sheets.
