I received exceptional customer service today. I called and asked Sara at the customer service desk if they had a certain baseball card in stock and she went over and checked for me and confirmed they were in stock. I had to drive about 30 minutes to get there so I was floored. She took the time to help me. It’s not every day that you feel like the person wants to help you in retail and I truly appreciate how friendly and helpful she was. Thank you so much Sara.

We made a trip to the pharmacy and picked up some other non pharmacy items. As usual, the short staffed pharmacy took quite awhile. There were only 2 people working, including the pharmacist. The clerk was friendly and helpful. We used the self check out for our other items. The wait wasn't too bad, but we had to wait for the only cashier working to get a break to come help us with our $5 store coupon. If you get there at just the right time, a trip to Target isn't too bad. If your timing is off, it can take a long time to check out. Not the place to go if you only have a few items to pick up.

This store is a mess. I visited on a Monday morning and they were in the middle of restocking. Some aisles were impassable. I stopped to look at some water and a Target employee with a large loaded push cart rammed into my cart which I had a hold of and my whole body jerked. He just kept on going. I had a list of items I was going to pick up but decided this was not the place to be and left.

You need to have an employee working in the electronics department since half of the stuff you have in there it’s locked up and need the key to open. Don’t send me looking all over the whole entire store to find an employee and can’t even find one single employee to help me in the whole store on the floor. Other than the people at the checkout or customer service. That’s ridiculous. Pay somebody to work in the electronics department!!! Target makes plenty of money an can afford to pay to have somebody working in that department at all times. They always have plenty of AT&T people there to sell your freaking cell phone but they can’t help you in electronics department???

12/2023 - Online order with curbside pickup continues to work very well. Was originally a pickup inside that was ready to convert to curbside 20 min before I arrived. Also, though I haven't tried it yet, they now also offer curbside return service! First place I've heard of doing that!Original review 12/2021Tried online order w/drive up pickup for the 1st time today. I was notified 16 min after placing the order that it was ready for pickup, even though the site had said it could take up to 2 hrs. The notice also had a button to click when I was on my way, & asked what style / color of car I'd be in so they could watch for me. My phone notified them when I pulled in, & my order was brought out within 2-3 minutes! A quick scan of a code on my phone (to confirm it was my order), & it was loaded up. Then we were done. This was really cool, especially since I was picking up a heavy piece of furniture. Thanks Target!

Target always is fun to shop. They normally have a nice selection of seasonal goods at reasonable prices. Their food area is pretty darn good for a variety store.

Hope no one is disabled and needs to go to Sherwood Target. Scooters are always dead or die as You get to the back of the store. I spoke with the manager a few weeks ago about it. It obviously did a lot of good because it happened again today! I’m Done! 2-19-24 Still a problem, no change! Maybe the Sherwood Gazette might like to know they have no working scooters.

I've always been mostly happy with target and its employees. Today however was my exposure to a lousy sales person. It was a young man and he made it known thru his sighs and rolling eyes. Outside of that it was comfortable and surprisingly mellow today.

The pharmacy was hit and miss. The 2nd person I spoke to on the phone was great, but the first person got the entire medication I asked about wrong and when I got there I asked for help and the employee pretty much blew me off… I asked for help again and she told me to go to the main registers even though it was for medication. Still not sure if I got the right stuff and it was very important. I think one employee needs to take patients and customers a lot more seriously or at least pretend she cares and wants to help. Lady at main register was great as well.

Had an episode at target tonight where I almost fainted. This was very embarrassing obviously and I am totally fine but I have to just thank target employees for being so loving and helpful! So were all the customers that surrounded me! People were so kind and it gives me a little more faith for humanity.

This is our local Target, and we probably go here a little too often!Shopping is almost always a pleasure, and if you need help you’re normally able to find someone that is able to do so.Returning an item, which is what spurred this review, is normally very fast and easy. I use the app, so having the receipt is easy and I’m able to be on my way very quickly.

Store is always well organized and pleasant to shop, but there's a big deal-breaker. Whenever I go into this store at night there is only a self-checkout option. That is ridiculous.Boo, Target. Bad move.

Self check out has been limited to 10 items or less and it will be enforced according to staff. Poor fresh food selection and quality, and high prices.

Probably my favorite Target in the Portland metro area. Clean, awesome service and they always honor deals without hassle. The parking lot, while not my favorite, is also a lot better to navigate than other locations nearby. Also, they actually enforce loss prevention!

Ordered a 12 cube shelf online at Sherwood Target yesterday. It was on sale for a great price. I said I'd pick it up, then today got notified it was ready and offered the choice to have it brought out to my car instead. YES! - the thing is heavy. Showed up a couple minutes later and parked in their curbside pickup spots & notified them through the app that I was there and which spot # i was in. No more than 5 min later a nice guy brought it out, confirmed where in the car I'd like him to put it, then did all the heavy lifting to get the thing in my car. I never even had to get out of my seat. Could not have been easier in my opinion. Thanks Target!

Just spent over an hour in target filling up a cart with over 200$ worth of stuff. Went to checkout and there is only self checkout available. Asked the “GSTL” employee if they could open another checkout so I didn’t have to put 45 items through self checkout, and their response was a no. He said “no, do it yourself in self check out.” So I spent 25 minutes at a self check out doing it myself. This target has done nothing but go downhill in the past 8 months. I highly recommend driving around the block to the Walmart. They value customer service.

Target has really gone down hill.. or maybe the American people have. My visit today was a joke. The employee has no clue to the products he sales in electronics.. answered all my questions the same... I don't know....Then there was a sign inviting the customer to have cell phone activated by an employee.. but guess what he didn't know... Didn't even have a clue to the return policy.Next time to check out. That employee did know return policy either.. when I mentioned my product was on sale and I wanted the discount he just looked at me like he didn't know what to do . Then saids go to customer service to fix it... I'm like are you kidding me.. he then gets a gift card to remedy the problem.. what's more after he charge my phone card I ask again the return policy.. he looks on the reciept and said the card was not returnable...The employees act like they could care less to your target issues..or even being an employee.. actually I don't think it's acting.. they really have that special kinda energy that make you want to shop anywhere else.. I get why Walmart has swooped up their business

POC Beware! You will be followed around the store and thr overly polite how can I help you will be asked MULTIPLE of times. Customer service employee was suspicious I was buying multiple of things and had to verify if there was a LIMIT to that? Manager said no there isn’t, she proceeded with “are you sure?” I wish I can give it a 0 star. Manager didn’t care, wonder what corporate would have to say about the racial profiling of their customers?

I don’t usually write reviews. But, I’m making an exception. I live about 40 minutes from the Sherwood Oregon Target store. And yes, there is one closer to me. I used their shopping services last year because it was on my way home from my doctors and convenient to get to. After going that first time, I’ve never went to another Target. On more than one occasion they have went out of their way and gone the extra mile. This morning tops it off. I HAD TO WRITE A REVIEW! I was getting ready to go pickup an online order. I noticed that they had run out of two of the things I ordered. These were part of an online, buy 3 get a $10 gift card deal. I called to ask if I could remove and refund the remaining item in my order so that I could make another order with three items in stock in order to get the promotion deal of $10 for next time. I was put on hold for a second and they came back with an even better offer than I had asked for. They left the tide pod in my order and added the $10 gift card anyway! Without having to do a whole new order to get that promotion!! It’s not a big thing. But, everyone can use a little kindness in their lives, and it’s the little things that count. So, this is a HUGE THANK YOU to the SHERWOOD, OREGON TARGET!! YOU ARE GREAT!

The young man who checked us out was delightful!! We had a great time with him. While I was waiting for my daughter to get her merchandise another young man, on his way to work with giving out shopping carts, stopped and complemented me on the mask I was wearing. We had a hilarious exchange, his mask was adorable also. These two young men made my day!! Still making me smile 3 days later!

This target is the worst target I’ve ever dealt with before. I put an order in for a childrens rocking horse and wrapping paper, when the order was ready it said the rocking horse wasn’t available. I called the Sherwood target guest services and Mickey a women answered and was immediately rude. I asked her to help cancel and refund the order/item and she said “I’m sure you can do that on your app” I then said that “I’m sure she could help me out on the phone as well” assuming she’s in GUEST services and is there to service the guest. She then told me she was not in a place to help me and wouldn’t. I then asked for a manager and she hung up on me. I called again and she kept her phone in her pocket and let me listen to absolutely nothing. My husband called from his phone and she was extremely rude to him as well.As someone who has worked in service for many years, this isn’t the way to treat a customer and she is obviously someone who shouldn’t be working in guest services.

Bought 2 sale items yesterday....got home and saw on the receipt that they BOTH were rang up at FULL price. I'll be driving back again today to return these items. Apparently target has to try and steal from you. My loss on gas money, but I'm not letting them keep the $$$. Crooks.

Customer service and products. Today while stopping in for some basic items and a table cloth I was near the curtains not finding what I needed and asked a nearby associate, Joshua, where table cloths could be found. Not only did he know just where to find them he actually walked me down to that aisle when he could have just pointed me in the right direction. Either way would have worked for me, but having worked in retail before this is always a step I consider as great customer service, especially these days. Once I found what I was looking for I ended up back in the area Joshua was working and because he had been so helpful before asked him the best way to get a 7x10 rug to the front if I wanted to purchase it. He automatically walked me back to where the rug was and said it would be no problem for him to get it to the front for me. He then waited until I was finished checking out and then loaded it in to my car. While I'm fully physically capable of executing all of the loading and unloading and I have no doubt Joshua knew that as well, it was nice to have it all taken care of so efficiently. His attention and assurance that it was no problem at all coupled with his great attitude on an early Friday morning was a stand out experience in customer service and probably the reason I spent about $250 more than planned :) Joshua is the kind of employee you want representing your store.
