Good pet store in Sherwood with doggie treats bar sold by the pound. Staff is friendly. Fred (shown in picture) gets his mani-pedi done at Guardian Vet next door, so that's how I found Mud Bay. Maybe call it Pet Bay or Muddie Pets to attract more customers. Just a suggestion.Fred's treats favs are peanut butter molasses, sweet potato, and bacon cheese. It seems like a well run pet store without the corporate feel. Staff friendly, well trained, and professional. Check em out for a happy pet stuff store in Sherwood.

My husband and I stopped by at this location on 12/31/23 to buy dog and cat treats. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They pretty much recognize our two senior dogs whenever we walk inside the store. The prices are reasonable not too expensive and not too cheap. We have been shopping at this location, since we moved 3 years ago. Keep up the awesome customer service : )

Great place, friendly staff, love that they have a scale available to weigh your pet. No more trying to balance the 73 pound dog in our arms while stepping onto the scale! They also have little packets of sample treats they offer for your pet. Also, they have a program that you fill a reusable bucket with treats at a discount once you buy the bucket. There's an assortment of nine with different flavors, etc. to fill it from. You can choose your pet's favorites, or change it up each time you fill it, for some variety.

This location is fantastic. Always well stocked, super friendly service, wide open space with great lighting. We purchased an amazing, locally made cat tree here a couple years back and my kitties both still LOVE IT! The gentleman helping me was caring and deliberate about his kind customer service. He helped load it up, and ensured that it was probably tied down.I swing by often, and will continue. Thank you Mudbay Sherwood!

There are always great bulk treat options for dog. Fun baskets of toy options for cat. The Sherwood store had Magic Dust flavor for picky dog, food enhancement. I like the treat taster envelopes. We have found some new options we otherwise may not have known about or tried.

Me and my dog always have the best experience going into MudBay! The staff greets us at the door and is always so willing help us find what we need! They’re so kind to my puppy (who during our first visit was still learning how to behave in a store) and always offer him treats and love! It’s a bit of a drive for me but I am going to continue going there just based off of their customer service and I would highly recommend shopping here!

As you might expect from a boutique pet supply store, the prices are definitely higher than getting supplies from one of the single stop shopping stores located everywhere now. That being said the service is of a much higher quality than the larger competitors in the location is excellent for getting into and out of quickly which is something I require sometimes.

We love coming for the wide treat selection of trustworthy brands that are at a very reasonable cost (sometimes better than Petco/Petsmart). Its also so spacious and relaxed. My pup gets nervous/anxious around people, and the employees are super gentle with her. She loves visiting.

I just found the Perfect gift for Christmas for my brothers dog. It is a soft log with at least four squirrels inside that pop out of holes. All of the squirrels have squeakers in them and I know that my brothers dog is going to go crazy and have the best time for Christmas. Great entertainment for the whole family. I cannot tell you how ingenious this dog toy really is and it was only $15. I highly recommend that if you’re looking for Christmas gifts for the pet in your life or your friends pet, that you visit this wonderful store Which also carries high quality food but it’s difficult to find anywhere else. This is also a very large and beautiful store with lots of space to roam around during the time of Covid. I felt very safe in the store while shopping.I’m shopping local this year and I’m not supporting Amazon or other conglomerates. Instead, I hope you will join me in supporting the quality stores that are right here in our community so that they are here at the end of the pandemic.

Very clean, modern, and health focused pet supply! Feels like a Whole Foods with pig ears in the dog treat section, haha! Items look to be of a much higher quality than what you would find at chain stores, meaning you might be spending more. However, prices are reasonable and you're getting homemade, organic products in some cases that come in a large variety of styles and colors. What really got me was that if something didn't work out (food, treats, toys, etc) you can return the item, and they donate the items to the local animal shelter so they aren't just thrown away or sitting in a clearance bin. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will be coming back once my kitty destroys her new peacock feather!

I visited here with a friend who just moved up north. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind.Two years ago, I purchased a catnip body pillow for my fur child at the Saturday Farmer's market in downtown Portland. I'd been telling myself I should order another because he's shredded the old one but I hadn't gotten around to it. Not expecting much, I described the pillow to the manager and mentioned the company name (The Spoiled Cat if you're curious) and he led me to a window display and asked,"Do you mean these?"The two staff members helped me and friend with our purchases and made some recommendations for cat and dog treats (for my girlfriend's little dogs) before giving us free sample treats and thank you notes with a $5 coupon toward our next Mud Bay purchase. The manager also gave my friend a recommendation for a local veterinarian for her two cats and offered to help us carry a new cat tower to the car.Great service, great inventory and all kinds of strange and fun treats to give to your pets. My cat very much enjoys the rabbit bites I picked up for him and my girlfriend's dogs are big fans of the yak milk chews I was recommended. I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm up visiting to buy things for all the animals in my life.

They have been amazing community partners! We popped in and asked them to participate in Santa's Christmas Cottage, a free Sherwood event with a FUNdraising twist that helps a different local non profit organization and they jumped in without hesitation with a raffle prize. When I shopped in their for a gift, they were extremely helpful as well. The store is beautiful and well organized, the people are so nice and they are a great addition to the many wonderful pet options we have in town!

I went in for the first time today with my sister and we were blown away by the service. we were politely asked to use hand sanitizer when we entered and the staff practiced social distancing from start to finish, which made me feel really safe and comfortable.sometimes when you go into pet shops the staff will lightly interrogate you about your pet which can be kind of uncomfortable, but these people had such wonderful lovely vibes that made me feel like i could ask for help at any time no problem.all of it was such a pleasant surprise and the conversation was friendly and easy. they even gave us a voucher w our purchase bc it was our first time in which was the bow on top of our shopping experience. this is definitely our new go to place for our pet needs, i highly recommend it to anyone thats been curious about it or has considered going in.
