Got my kitty fixed here and vaccinated about a week ago. Everyone was so friendly. Drop off/check in was fast and easy. Overall such a good experience. I've always heard good things about them but it was nice to finally get to experience it myself! Highly reccomend!

I had to rehome a very sweet kitty that I found as a stray and could not get my other cats to accept... It was a difficult decision and we were sad to say goodbye BUT the wonderful people at CAT made it so much easier!! They were so kind and took the time to find out about his behavior and preferences. Mara did our intake appointment and she was lovely. I felt much less sad after I left because I knew he was in good hands. He was shy at first so they let him hang out in their office which he loved! They have answered every email within hours and sent me pictures of him getting cuddles and playing with toys. They wrote a very candid bio and he was adopted within a couple weeks. It is a tough world out there for abandoned animals and CAT provides a much needed resource. I am SO grateful to everyone who works there. They are AWESOME.

We adopted our new kitty here yesterday. They have a great selection of kittens and cats that need loving homes. The team was so helpful (I believe they’re all volunteers too) and you can tell they truly care about all the kitties. Our cat was spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated before we picked her up. They also gave us a free bag of food and a certificate for a free vet exam to get us started. I’m so glad we chose to adopt from the Cat Adoption Team!

The facility was great, and the staff were very nice, however my wife and I both felt like huge burdens to the facility. The staff lock up the cats, and then hoard them when you finally find one that will unlock their cage. We attempted to pet the kittens, and their volunteers would just block the cages and not let us pet any of the cats we were looking to adopt. Extremely frustrating experience, as every other place we have been to allows us to view any of the cats available without a volunteer over our shoulders.

Brought a couple of kittens here that we had unexpectedly ended up fostering for a week. I was dreading taking them to a shelter (they were adorable and I got more attached to them than I meant to), but my experience with the surrender process was very positive. Mara was amazing, and even walked us back to where the kittens would be staying and let us help get them settled and say goodbye to them there. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were getting the best of care. We were also able to check in via email and found out they went to their new homes the very next day. Thank you CAT!

Really wonderful place to adopt from with incredibly helpful staff/volunteers. I have been very pleased with my experience & my kitty is happy & healthy. The vet said CAT did a great job preparing her for adoption.

We brought our two boys here to be fixed, and they were wonderful. Everyone was super nice, it really could not have been an easier process. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our Wick and Gimli.

I had such a wonderful experience at Cat Adoption team. They were so knowledgeable and helpful in my adoption of Jordan. I love that they send you an email with resources after the adoption and that they encourage you to email/call with any concerns or questions. If I ever want to adopt another cat, I will be coming back here!

The process was pretty straight forward and organized for getting my kitty neutered. The parking was pretty terrible at pick up and the lobby was over crowded. There seemed to be an adoption event going on at the exact same time as the required pick up time which was during rush hour traffic time so it made pick up long but the staff was still efficient with the circumstances.

I would say this place is great, but I disagree with the model of sending cats to Petco who are strangers to one another, and putting them all in one room. They said "they only send their most social cats" but from what I've learned of cats, they don't do well thrown together. We tried to meet a cat at this Petco, but it was so disorganized and the employee didn't even know which one was ours that we filled out an application for. There happened to be three cats of the same color and they didn't know where the code scanner was. We wasted a lot of time just figuring out which cat was which rather than getting to know the one we wanted to adopt. It was just kind of a disorganized mess the whole time unfortunately.

My husband and I adopted our black cat her name at that time was Angel Soft on 10/23/21. The adoption counselor Natalie Pascale was helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. She answered any questions I had regarding her vaccination status?, microchipped?, spayed?, de-wormed? litterbox trained? parasite preventative? type of dry food? type of can food? She also answered questions regarding proper introductions with our senior dog. In addition, they give you a certificate for free veterinary examination that you can take to any veterinary hospital that accepts this. The staff want to set up the cats for success, so Natalie sent me a follow up email within a few days after adopting Angel Soft to ensure everything is going smoothly. Big plus is they have a store inside the shelter, so we were able to buy a carrier, toys, bed, name tag, collar, food and water bowls for her that day. Along with the paperwork they gave me a bag of small cat food and several cans at least until we are able to buy cat dry food and cans of wet food for Angel Soft. The adoption fee we paid at the time was $100 and I think this is a reasonable price considering the cat we adopted is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, and was administered a topical parasite preventative. We will adopt again at this shelter in the future and I will continue to donate and shop at the CAT Thrift Store in Beaverton. Thank you for all you do for the cats! Keep up the awesome work!

Excellent experience for us as first-time adopters! Clean facilities and knowledgeable, welcoming staff made for a good environment to consider adopting a cat or kitten.

I'm so happy this place exists. Cats never get the same respect that dogs do and it's sad. You're missing out on a whole other world, if you partition your love off for only one type of pet!

My daughter raina loves kittens and cats in any color and shape but I told her we can't have one so every minute she asks me if I can show her pictures of kittens in cats adoption team and she doesn't want a kitten anymore she just wants to see people happy with there new cats

It felt like no one upstairs really cared unless I was adopting today. I planned to adopt in the near future but not immediately because of my family’s allergies. There was no one else at the center except for staff.Basically I asked for a room with Mocha. We were vibing at her cage just before. The staff said, “yes we can do that. For sure. Are you adopting today?” And I replied, “no not today but I plan to once I move out. My family is very allergic.” The staff then said, “Oh…I see. Well we can let you see Mocha at her cage.” I was pretty disappointed but figured the staff knew best and followed along. At Mocha’s cage I heard, “we can’t move the cats that much because they get stressed out.” But once the cage was opened, Mocha tried getting out 3 times and didn’t seem to want to stay in the cage… didn’t seem very stressed to me. She actually seemed MORE stressed when the staff just locked the cage after saying, “yeah I don’t think she’s going to be good today. This is the best we can do.” At this point I was honestly pretty speechless and confused. I stayed a few more minutes to say bye to Mocha and then left. Maybe someone can correct me but I just felt like I got a cop out response because I wasn’t ready to adopt literally THIS afternoon. I’ve gone to other adoption clinics in the past and priority was always given to those looking to adopt, which is fine…but they never turned people away who wanted to meet with the cats and see which ones they liked the most. That’s what it felt like today, to say the least. :/

My wife, kids, and I have always been total animal lovers. And we have had many different types throughout the years. My wife has always had a special affection for cats and so along with our dogs we have always had several cats at any given time.Through chatting with friends my wife heard about the Cat Adoption Team on SW Galbreath Drive and then the opportunity arose so she began volunteering there. What an amazing organization and facility!Everyone is so caring and truly gives their time, treasure, and talent from their hearts. If you are looking for that special little friend to adopt and share your life with, then CAT is the place to begin.

I love Cat Adoption Team! I was there a couple of weeks ago and adopted a senior cat named Guava. CAT had already examined her medically and cleaned her teeth, so I knew she was healthy. And because Guava was a senior cat, she was eligible for all sorts of extra benefits, including a heated bed (which she still loves), and supply of canned and dry cat food (which she also still loves). And nine years ago, I adopted a cat from. The facility is clean, and all the cats are obviously well cared for. Highly recommend!

The adoption process here was incredibly slow. The required adoption counseling took nearly an hour and a half to go through a 12 slide presentation. Our adoption counselor treated a non-native English speaker in our counseling group like a clueless child and I was repeatedly misgendered by the staff.

We went to CAT hoping to find a new friend a couple of weeks ago. The team members greeted us at the door and asked us what we were looking for. Since we wanted a cat 6+ months old, we were directed to the cattery that's upstairs.Another volunteer, Natalie, met us and asked what qualities we wanted. We have a toddler so we had some big asks - loving, ideally extroverted, OK with small kids. Natalie also asked if there was anyone we saw on their website we wanted to meet. We got to have meet and greets with five cats, sanitizing hands between each one.CAT had the perfect addition for our family. She's settling in great and warming up fast to our child. Many thanks to CAT for the great profiles they have on their adoptees and the thoughtfulness of the volunteers and staff.

Absolutely love them! They are an awesome company who truly love their cause. I adopted a black kitten from them yesterday and she's incredible! The adoption process was easy and very informative. They go over an adoption "orientation" process with you to make sure you're completely prepared to take a kitty home. My kitten has some health issues that they have been completely focused on helping me to solve. I took her into their vet today to see about getting her problems resolved and they did it completely for free as her health issues pre-existed the adoption. The staff and vet clinic are all very nice and understanding and easy to work with. Absolutely recommend them! 10/10 ❤️Also, they have an awesome store

As a foster for CAT for a little over a year now I have nothing, but good things to say! All volunteers, workers, medical crew, and administrative people are top-notch. They care about the cats as if they were their own and create such a welcoming and informative environment. Support CAT today!

Great place to get a kitty... Or two! We have adopted two now and they have been the perfect additions to our family. My friend adopted three.. The store is great because 100% of the money goes to support the shelter and care for the cats. The staff have always been super nice and helpful. We have never had to wait long to view a cat we were interested in and the addition process is quick and simple.

I really like CAT's process and how they make sure you can take care of the cat that you're adopting. While they do a thorough check, it's absolutely worth it--no question.I told them what kind of cat I was looking for, and they matched me to the perfect cat in one go.We just celebrated our 3rd anniversary together, and I'm so eternally grateful to have gone through CAT.They offer an exceptional service, and I am STILL in contact with the person that facilitated the adoption for me. SHOUT OUT TO STEPHANIE! She made it super easy, and she truly listened to what I was looking for.Words cannot describe the joy this place has given me. The prices are fair and affordable, and I highly recommend you go through their process.CAT takes the time to do things right, and I respect them for their process.

Please do not donate. Tried to call to get help for some animals and they talked to me like I was selfish for describing how much need these cats have when they are having to be manually urinated and manually fed even at 4 weeks. The person who answered the phone call said something about how it's all about me me me when I'm telling them that I'm concerned with mom's health, but I'm concerned for the kittens health and I don't have the resources. Selfish self-centered person answered the phone to try and talk down to me when I have volunteered and Foster these kittens for weeks when the cat wasn't even mine. How disgusting to talk to somebody like that. I hope that person gets everything they deserve in life.

We found our first fur baby at CAT! The atmosphere of the shelter was relaxed so we felt free to wander and meet many furry friends before deciding who we would to take home. Our shy kitten who didn’t want her paws touched is now a talkative cat with a big personality!
