Goldie's ice cream parlor is now Seven Directions.Their original building off the highway was hit by a truck so they are temporarily next to the shaniko hotel off "E" street until they can get their building fixed.We were spending the day in shaniko. We enjoyed biscuits and gravy in the morning. (And biscuits with egg for my vegetarian husband). Very delicious biscuits. Tillamook ice cream! And grilled cheese paninis in the afternoon. The food was all good, i wish the was more variety but it is a small town so all things considered it had a lot. (They did have a good selection of ice cream though!)The staff was super friendly and pointed out the historic jail across the street.All in all a great place to stop if you're passing through the area!

We were planning on ice cream here. A big rig fell asleep and plowed through this lady’s business. Closed!

Nice to find a shop that serves anything in this little town. People were very friendly, and they had a good selection of ice cream, coffee drinks, candy and other assorted gift shop things in a room next door to the food area. Prices were pretty good and just so you know that 2 scoops of ice cream are a significantly better deal than just one scoop.

Not only good ice cream. My sister bought a beautiful, handmade rim drum. That was made by the owner, the lovely Sandi. If you are driving by Shankio it is worth a stop for ice cream and to meet Sandi.

We drove thru at the hottest time in a millennium! The ice cream was DELICIOUS! With a very healthy portion! It's a very interesting town, with great history. Highly recommend.
