You can let your pet pick out their own toy, choose from multiple harness and collar options, and have a few days to return it if it doesn't work or is the wrong size. It's worth stopping by and keeping it local instead of wasting the gas to run around.

We had been shopping there for our Bull Terriers since they opened and they young man who worked there was really great and knowledgeable.Once I bought some very pricey dog shampoo but when I went to use it discovered that it wasn't what we needed. When I took it back an older woman demanded a receipt but I didn't have it. I explained that I just needed to trade it for an appropriate shampoo but she wouldn't budge on the receipt requirement. I pointed out that they are the only place within an hour of here that carries that brand. She then said "How do I know an employee didn't give it to you?".She obviously was not going to help and was willing to accuse me of shoplifting or accuse her employees of theft.That was many years ago, and we haven't gone there since. This type of thing is what drives loyal customers to online shopping.

It's the customer experience I love here! They are very helpful. When it comes to dog treats for a Rottweiler they know what he likes! When it came to a muzzle they didn't have they got it for me and called me when they got it! My rot loves them! Especially their dog treats!

I wanted to shout out one of your employees, Montan. I asked him how I could leave a review and he said he wasn’t sure so I figured this would be the best way.I’ve had the pleasure of having Montan help me multiple times recently and I’m enthused whenever he does. This man is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. I just got a new dog and had a lot of questions and he has helped me make informed decisions and learn a lot. Plus he’s extremely approachable, pleasant, and patient. Thank you Montan! Whoever you work for is lucky to have you working for them.

Doesn’t have a proper set up for the purple pincher hermit crabs. You have them living in the wrong conditions and they are slowly suffocating. They are animals being ripped from their natural homes to be pets, if you’re going to have them then do your due diligence and make sure that they are living in an environment that they can thrive in. Your mesh top is wrong, heat Lamp is wrong, substrate is wrong, And water pools are wrong along with their diet. Stop giving them those poisonous little pellets they only eat them because of the scent but they are so toxic. Stop using those hermit crab marketed products because they are toxic, stop giving them sponges for humidity and drinking. These are prey animals, they get stressed so easily and can die from it.

This is a great store! New remodeling and great improvements. I have noticed thier staff is a lot younger and less educated than before the new ownership. There have been a couple of times that I have had to go in because the staff wasn't educated enough to answer my question, but once they know it doesn't happen again. Over all. It's a great store! Super friendly staff, decent prices. The ONLY place I am aware of in my county to get reptile supplies. And they have brought in custom food for my dogs and price matched. They work hard for thier clients needs. They order what they don't have and usually within a few days. They're friendly and thorough.

I approached the young salesman with questions hoping to add fish to my tank. The young man that helped me (I didn't get his name! Light brown hair, great smile) resolved all my dumb questions with great knowledge. Marvelous experience.

Came in to get my daughters their first fish/aquarium. The guys in the shop were super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Being the wife and I's first aquarium we got the total breakdown on everything and left the shop feeling confident about setting everything up.

This store has a great selection of food, toys, and treats for both dogs and cats. Helpful employees, and lots of Ruffwear items! Unfortunately our visit was cut short by a boy (I’m assuming he was a child of an employee) who continuously followed us around while holding a snake, and even commented on how nervous his snake was making my rescue pup. He didn’t seem to pick up social cues well, and continued to follow us out the door. Don’t get me wrong he seemed to only have good intentions, our dog just doesn’t do well with strangers- especially children (and maybe snakes? lol). I suggest educating him on dog behavior, helping him understand that tail tucking & cowering are both signs of fear. Otherwise great store- cool fish area too.[Update 09/24/22] Thank you for the lovely response! Added one star for awesomeness. Will be seeing you soon :)

Been shopping here for years....New owners have let some things go....Went in to buy cat food, and sadly the size of cat good I wanted to buy was out of stock. Associate said they would order the larger size I wanted and would call me when it was in; was told it would take a few days to get in. I bought a small bag of the cat food my cats are used to eating to hold them over till the larger bag was in stock.Over a week went by and no call from the store, so I go in to see if it is in stock now and the status of my special order. Item was still not in stock and I find out that my special order was never put in, they did in fact have the order and was able to find my request but was never processed. I decided not to buy another small bag of cat food. (the point of the larger bags is a better price per pound of food).It is hard to support local businesses when the premium you are paying for customer service is lacking...Bought the size bag I requested on Amazon and will be here in 3 days to my door. Don't really see the point of this physical shop anymore.

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Brought my new dog in for the first time, got help with food options for his more sensitive stomach, great advice in a little acclimating him, shared advice on his food aggression, just were so helpful and very kind to us both. Great rewards program as well and will certainly choose this local retailer over other options.

Customer service needs to improve .. wait times way to long especially when there is 3 to 4 reps an at most 2 customers. Some would rather stand around an not even acknowledge or say hello even though they see you. Took the store owner today to get someone to help granted there was a flux of customers but at one time during a 15 min wait one rep.walked away as if to go on break leaving the other alone othet tgen that no issues

I have a little dog that had a wound that looked like it may be infected. We were panicking when we found it. No vet was open, emergency care was a 6-8 hour wait time. We were told by the urgent care to just keep it clean until we could get him care. He was whining and clearly distressed. I called the store to see if there was anything topical and anything he could take to calm and help with pain until we could see someone. The woman I spoke with was so kind and understanding. She recommended I try some products and I came right in. She gave me some products that she had given her own pets. She shared her experiences and her advice was so reassuring. The products she recommended did wonders. The wound looked so much better the next day with the topical spray and the CBD drops soothed my dog and helped with his discomfort. So thankful I came in, wonderful people.

New owners who are very nice. I went in for a new betta. They were researching new distributors as the prior one was sending unhealthy fish. I like that they would not support ppl/ businesses who do not take care their products. These are live animals that need us to take care of them. The store inside has been remodeled and is so much bigger looking. They also had 2 rescued guinea pigs. They had them separated as both were male, and would introduce them gradually for the safety of each.So, the business seems to be applying a standard of care for their animals that is caring and loving and knowledgeable. I cannot comment on prices or foods available yet. Will update when I can give a review abt that.

The best pet store around! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They have everything from fish to reptiles to small mammals. Well behaved and well supervised pets are welcome to visit. They have a great selection of pet supplies and are always willing to special order items they may not have in stock.

I’ll start by saying that I did like this store a lot and they have a great selection of high quality products for my dogs. I’ve been coming here to buy my dog food since moving to the area, but recently had a bad experience. I drive almost 45 minutes each way to spend money with this business and the last time I ran out of dog food I called ahead of time to make sure they would be open and let them know I was on my way driving to them and would be there right around 7pm. I arrived at 6:59pm and the kid working locked the door as I walked up and had a smirk on his face when he saw me. It would’ve taken less than 2 minutes to go inside and complete the transaction. I go through about 80lbs of dog food per month and after this experience I will be driving the extra 30 minutes to Beaverton where my business is appreciated. Very disappointed in how that was handled. The boy’s excuse was “my boss wouldn’t like me staying open after 7pm”. I would rather support a small locally owned pet store like this, but to be treated with such disrespect left a bad taste in my mouth. As easy as it is to buy my food on Amazon or Chewy for a cheaper price and have it delivered to my door I still chose to support this business but it really doesn’t make me feel appreciated as a customer when I’m treated that way.

Nice, and friendly to me.... Like this place for my furry buddies because the other choice is corporate Freddy's.....They are kind to only me and rude to my husband they the cashiers act like he is non existent....They frequently jump him in line and take a new customer. I have had to wait 15 minutes to be checked out here but I never get jumped in line. I think that there is something weird here with how they create an uncomfortable atmosphere for my husband who is the main animal care taker for our home. I have been a cashier for many places even a pet store. I have never skipped someone in line that was supposed to be next. I have even sent people who tried getting ahead in line by cutting back to the end of the line. Bad on your cashiers

Small town pet shop with a variety of offerings. I have bought some fish here but mostly dog food and live bugs for lizard food recently. The bugs are very lively and die off rate is pretty low if I do my part. The lizards haven't complained yet and the prices seem to be competitive.They have a nice fish/reptile/etc section and plenty of aquarium supplies. If you need something today there's a very good chance that it will be there. The prices could be lower but I feel like it isn't really a bargain if I have to drive an extra hour to get it home from the chain stores in nearby bigger cities.
