I received excellent customer service from three employees at this store on the day before Thanksgiving. My first encounter was with Dylan in the produce department. Dylan was actively engaging customers as he unloaded his produce cart, asking what we were looking for and directing us to our items. This made shopping the department much easier, especially with so many items to find. When I stepped to the meat department I encountered Derek B., seafood manager, who greeted me immediately with a smile and friendly banter. At the self checkout register, Billie U. had to assist me and others several times. Billie juggled all of her duties and quickly solved issues with minimal waiting. Shopping on the day before a holiday can sometimes be a hassle, but this store was well stocked and staffed with wonderful employees like Dylan, Derek B. and Billie to make the experience smooth and enjoyable.

I’d like to thank Jimmie in the deli. He turned what was going to be a disastrous situation into an overall good experience. He and his team on Saturday morning made sure I was taken care for a catering order that slipped thru the cracks. Appreciate all the hard work.

Busy place at times. Got to be quick on deals or you can miss out. Favorite grocery store when needing to be in and out though. Decent prices, online experience works also if you have the premeditated time to go through and select each item...Great meat sales on Steak, ground beef & chicken

My mother was in the store on 10-9-23. She was at self checkout.As she was scanning the machine stopped working, she call the person on staff over wondering what happened. The girl stated the machine detected (unusual movements ). Seriously, what evenis that? And proceded to treat mymother as if she stole something.My mother is an 80 year old woman . She purchased tissues , bananas, coffee. This was totally unacceptable.She has never been accused of stealing .This upset her greatly. Please take the time to train your staff on not playing judge and jury with your customers. A letter to Albertsons Corp office will follow this complain. Thanks for nothing.

Went there yesterday 12/23 parking lot was an ice rink, ok lots of places were. But it would have been nice to walk into the store without slipping on the ice. I asked employees about maybe some cat litter in front of the door to help customers less agile and was met with deer in the headlights look . No manager , employees don't even know. My business will not make or break this store but their lack of care and respect for the community is appalling. One employee 60 + admitted to falling on the way to work acted like this was expected of her.

My only complaint is the restocking situation. It seems as though you don’t restock a lot of popular products quick enough, things can be out of stock for up to a week sometimes.I do love the Safeway app makes shopping here that much better!

Great shopping experience. Cashier was friendly (Linda) and helpful. Young man who helped me load my groceries was exceptional. I needed a cart to ride around in store and shop and he brought one out to car and help me get seated.I may change my loyalty from Fred's to Sandy Safeway. Thank you so much.

A change in restocking have the aisles blocked with boxes. Hard to shop when products are inaccessible. Those stocking shelves are rude! They work for the product vendors and not Safeway. They talk loudly and can be vulgar ... When children are present. There are no COVID excuses. Customer service and loyalty must mean something!What's crazy is some bot named Safeway Supervisor asked me to contact them on the program. You all try and contact Safeway on the Safeway app... You get the Safeway bot... So take as it is... Another Customer service failure. The real insulting thing is if they want to talk with me they have my details.

I have been shopping here for a few years now.I always pick up a warm, fresh loaf of french bread from the bakery when I get the chance.The hot food deli and the meat deli have yummy optionsThe pharmacy is fantastic. I keep all of my prescriptions well organized and tracked so I am on top of things when I need refills. Make sure your doctors are all paying close attention to the medication needs of their patients, which is extremely important for on-time refills. Doing all of this keeps surprise empty prescription bottles and late refills at bayIt's a good sized store that is very popular in this area because of its convenient location, prices, rewards club, lack of other store options, and more. It gets busy quickly because of this. It also gets busy on good weather weekends when everyone and their cat is heading up to Mt. Hood through Sandy. Keep that in mind when choosing a shopping day :) I know I do!

Lisa in the Florist Department did a fabulous job on the Floral Sprays for my aunts memorial service. She went above and beyond especially in making a rather unique spray from the 61 nieces & nephews. I would highly recommend them for your next special occasion!

The deli has very good food very well prepared all hot items are very hot sandwiches are excellent and great customer service public restrooms very clean... Found what I needed and then some. Had an issue with the deli counter, with regards to a pound of primo black forest ham that was on sale for $5. A pound. The young man gave me NOT the sale price ham item, but a completely different meat item. I had to go back and request the item I wanted. . .bit frustrating.

I like this store and I like the convenience of going here for groceries. There is a section of premade meals near the entrance that I've been trying recently that only need minimal work to turn into a meal for two to three people. I work a lot because I own my own company and have to pull long hours. Some times when I come in the store after work, I am filthy from working and my clothes are not exactly clean because I don't feel like driving home and going back into town to go grocery shopping. I get treated like a vagrant unless I'm in my street clothes. Employees avoid eye contact with me and watch while I'm shopping, as if I'm going to shoplift.

I just wanted to give appreciation to Ben Johnson, who was working today, he was dealing with the frustrating bottle redemption area, in 80plus degree weather, and he was just so pleasant and kind. He offered to hand count my cans, which I was very thankful for ,he’s a great employee!! Thanks!

Kari doesn't like to do her job. When I asked if I cab give her 3 empty cans she stupidly asked me "uh you want ME to take these ?" You work there don't you? Customer serves not only from her but from other works are so rude . I only go when they have good sales

They try hard to keep everything looking clean and tidy at this location. The staff is friendly and approachable. Meat and bakery are so helpful and the products they take care of instore are great!Went to get a online special in the dairy section today and they were all expired. Ordering online and pickup here needs work. When I'm told items are unavailable I can go into the store and pick it up myself. Its inconvenient but they get most of the items correct. Usually the expiration date is close unless you specify for a later expiration on your products. Getting dairy in my order thats expired isn't ok.

We love shopping there. All your employees are very helpful and friendly during a hard time.Today was quite different.The young lady was rude and short tempered.There were three thoughts in my head.1: she is just having a hard day.2: maybe someone in her family died.3: she doesn't like black people.Every person has their moments so I didn't speak to her about her lack of professional and personal courtesy.Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for her.

Decided to get some chicken at the Deli. Asked for an 8 piece White and Dark. It seems that is hard to comprehend for them. You have to say the word mixed for them to understand. So after a few minutes of getting that clear I was informed by getting mixed I would not get it at their special $5.99 price. I let them know that cost did not matter. "Finally" I was given my 8 piece. When I arrived home and opened the bag I was in awe to find 4 Legs 3 Thighs and 1 Breast. Simply amazing and oh yes I almost forgot the girl helping me if you can call it helping was rude and dirty/sloppy in appearance. Good job Safeway Sandy,Oregon

Came in just before 8:00 last night pimple-faced girl in the deli refused to slice meat because she had to clean her meat slicer before 9:30 when they close refused any service for anything we asked very rude at 8:00 p.m. I'm sorry they close at 9:30 and she wanted to have her meat slicer cleaned but an hour and a half before closing is rude she would not do anything because of the time sounds more like something she needs to do near closing time and not refuse some services to customers the other guy there's great never had a problem with him customer service these days is downhill
