We love the selection of food and clothes. My 14 year old daughter got a lot of cool clothes, which surprised me because she is very particular about what she wears. All the employees we had contact with were very friendly. We both commented on that. We will definitely come back!

Shopping was easy. Checking out was a nightmare. Stayed in line for self serve check out then an employee told us it is now for 15 item or less (we probably had 20) then had to find one of the few cashiers that all happened to be located the farthest from the door we had to leave by.

My wife and I went into the Roseburg, Oregon location today. Saw some drapes that were marked at $6.79, we took them up to the register, and they came up at $13.58. I went and got the tag to show the cashier. They got a manager who could not help, she went and got a higher up manager. That manager said the drapes were actually $13.58 for the set. They are $6.79 each. Despite being packaged together. Really!!!??? My wife asked why it was marked at $6.79 and they started to talk about peanuts for some reason, price per ounce. She told them she did not understand what they were talking about. Then one of the managers started to laugh at her, bringing her to tears due to her TBI "Traumatic Brain Injury" disability. I have yet to discuss this with the Store manager or corporate, but wanted to log this as it was still fresh in my mind. Let's see how they respond. I will update accordingly to let everyone know the outcome. ** Update 11/7/23- Even though the store manager promised to call me back in a few days, I have had no response from her at all. I did receive a generic response from corporate with a promise to get back to after they do their investigation. I will give them another couple weeks to see. ** Update 11/17/23 - I have still not heard back from the store manager, so much for the empathy she said she had. I received another generic email from corporate, giving me the phone number to the person I was supposed to talk to in the Grants Pass location. I have called there at least 10 times now. I have not been able to talk to him. I have left 4 messages for him to call me back with my phone number, and reference #, with no response. I also emailed corporate back with my concerns twice with no response back as of right now. Will keep updating as needed. After talking to the district manager he was able to resolve the issue, the store manager was also helpful after the debacle. The said there would be training of the employees to tell them not to be insensitive to their customers concerns. Last update on this issue, I did raise the star from 1 to 2 because the managers were so nice and helpful.

If you want self checkout, 15 items or less, and they won't tell you until you have waited in a line that is a mile long! On top of that, you also get to bag your own groceries whether you go to self checkout or not! Where is my paycheck for my labor?

They really need to get the self checkout figured out. It is kinda like how bad their produce was in the beginning until they figured it out. Have enough registers open to accommodate the flow of customers. This isn’t rocket science.

Had to make a quick stop on a road trip and found what I needed. Had lits of fresh plants for your outdoor needs. Very clean and security was driving around the parking lot.

Our local Roseburg store is obviously implementing scan and go and Shark drivers. In doing that, they have shut down one entire self checkout section and the other one, only has 2 self checkouts for customers. They say they put more cashiers on regular checkouts but I checked everyone of them today and what was open, was backed up. I had 6 items and regardless of where I went, was looking at long wait times. I realize theft is a problem but I am not sure how scan and go stops that unless every cart is checked. If so, that won't be fast either. Plus to do that, I have to pay almost a 100.00 a year for membership and do it myself vs online and pickup! This is terrible for those of us who are honest. Why can't you put more associates watching self checkout? Train them better to pay attention vs chatting all the time! I am sure their wages would be less than what is lost on theft. I will plan to only order online and pickup as this is free but for other things, I will shop elsewhere. This is awful and so frustrating for those of us who love the convienence to now have to wait in long lines or pay for the convienence, which in my mind won't be one as theft can happen with this so will be waiting for an associate to check our carts unless you limit #of items to be faster. People are struggling now, so a 100 bucks a year and for many, the technology is to much for them is not a solution.

Very limited options. Overpriced 💲💰 Dirty store. I was shocked to see an obviously unbathed employee that had such terrible bedhead, their hair was literally matted and moldy. You couldn't even call it a mattlock, it was literally one matted "lock" with mold in it. Generally the employees are very nice here. They are underpaid and understaffed. They deserve better.

The reason I avoid walmart as much as possible is the current checkout process. As is, it is offensive to be treated like that, grossly time consuming, and it is totally unnecessary. Today It took 20 minutes to check out 1 item. This was because there were way too many people waiting to check out. Both self check out areas were full , one station wasn't working, and there were 6 people waiting, most of them with full carts, at each if the areas. There were also at least a dozen people, most of them with full carts. waiting to go through the 2 staffed check outs and the rest of them were closed. Frankly, when location isn't a big issue I shop at any of the other grocery stores in Roseburg just because of the checkout problem at Walmart.Given the number of vehicles in the parking lot and the number of people in the store in addition to those waiting in line I'm sure that Walmart can afford to open up more check out stations even if it requires them to hire more staff. I am assuming that this is a company wide policy which saves more money, but I am also assuming that they don't need mine.

Pharmacy department, I noticed one lady working at the counter should hurry instead of talking so much and get customers out of the way than having a long, long line when we are in a hurry to do things. I praise other ladies for being so considerate of getting customers out from standing.

Overall this Walmart is not the most horrible Walmart I’ve been to. The biggest problem I do have with this supercenter is the cosmetics area. Something has got to be different. Everything is locked up and double locked and locked up again.!It’s absolutely ridiculous. You can’t even sample perfumes or cologne to choose one. You have to just randomly select one in hopes you like it. Because there was only one poor girl to unlock everything for literally 8 different people wanting different items. So forget about having the time to let you smell different ones . Or actually looking at the makeup palettes or for heaven sake’s let you check out the new raser. I know I’m not the only personwho thinks this. I hope things will change.

We went to self checkout, but realized we had over 15 items. The employee said it was okay since we can have up to 21 items. We told her we had more, and she said it was okay.When we got done, the same employee came back saying we can't use self checkout for that many items. She was very rude about.

Never had a bad experience until tonight, while Christmas shopping. We where harassed by some kind of wanna be under cover security. Like I mean followed and would stand feet away from us and stare at us to the point where I went and spoke to the manager and left my items and left didn't buy anything. it was obvious we were shopping there was absolutely nothing suspicious or any kind of thing going on we cashed our check there and was TRYING to Christmas shop for our kids! It was horrible experience embarrassing and completely uncalled for. I can see it if we did something weird or suspicious but we literally where walking around trying to find Christmas gifts! And it wasn't like he did this once or twice to us literally was at every section in every isle standing and trying to be undercover but staring at us! They need some actual trained security that knows what to look for in a thief and what normally happens when normal people are shopping! I have worked in retail my entire adult life and have had plenty of training on what to look for in a thief or suspicious behavior so this was completely messed up for them to allow this to happen. I spend at the least $1,000 a month at this Walmart so for this to happen it unfortunate!

Was looking for a warm blanket in case the power goes out in the winter but all they had in stock were comforters and really thin ones. Went with a comforter and sheet set for $20 on clearance. I also found a digital scale for measuring body weight. They had a number of different models. My daughter was looking for a bra and she didn't like the selection even though they might be one of the two or so stores in town that a woman can try one on. They still don't carry a selection of good ones. She tried on 6 and put them all back.

This store is a good example of why Wal-Mart might go out of business one day just like their predecessor K-Mart.First they start closing at 11:00 PM and use covid as an excuse to do so to get everyone used to it. Then long after the covid regulations are gone Wal-Mart just keeps on closing at 11:00. They used to be one of the few stores that you could count on to be open 24 7 now they close early just for the heck of it. Then they stop carrying bags for months on end... They used an agenda as an excuse to stop carrying them, then they start carrying paper bags and charge money for them which was probably their end goal.Now it takes forever to check out because they keep closing the self check-out. They want maximum profit with minimum investment. They close the self checkout but at the same time only have a skeleton crew of cashiers whom they overwork. The end result is lines of unhappy customers that reach all the way into the women's clothing department, and stressed out overworked cashiers that only get paid a tiny fraction of a fraction of the profits that the company makes. Did I ever mention that if you put a circle around the Wal-Mart sprite, it becomes the symbol of the Galactic Empire. Just saying.

I've been here many times clean easy fast to get in and out of its kind of in and out of the way off the beaten path but a very good Walmart all in all.Adding to my review. Oddly enough people cannot read on social distancing and go the wrong way I'm not quite sure why they are, we don't have a vaccine yet! We need to pay attention to what we're doing people! Clean store, friendly staff. Well stocked with a variety of items. Half the store is behind glass or in locked areas.... understandably but it take some of the fun out of shopping... but I'm someone who likes to read the lables on everything, look at the packaging ect.

Nice store not very friendly customers not a good place to buy batteries as they’re locked upfront and they won’t sell them to you unless you wait in one of the regular checkouts forever. Need to put the batteries for customers can buy them they’re not that big of a theft item.

I always stop here if there's certain things I gotta get I do most of my shopping at fred Myers mainly cause the meat department and don't wanna stop at multiple stores but if I don't have to get any meat product then I come to Walmart because of the prices :)

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, this lady named AMY was following me around the store I noticed, so I simply got my phone out and started recording myself because I felt threatened and fearful for my life, and she called sercuity on me and made me leave the store for no apparent reason. Simply because I was recording myself and she put in my background of my recording of myself. I did not get to purchase my items and left humiliated with security following me out of the store. How embarrassing. I will be speaking to her manager and corporate.

Someone's groceries were delivered to my home. I called the store to let them know and they transferred me.They cut me off rudely in the middle of me telling them why I was callingstating, " I'll tranfer you". . . Then the phone rang for 20 minutes before I gave up. I sure hope whoever ordered these groceries didn't need them.Walmart- do better!!!

Walmart beat Verizon by approx. 300%+....... yes, new phone charging cables and misc. would have been $140 at Verizon. But was a bit of a savings at Walmart for a huge amount of approximately $40.Sorry Verizon, best compare your prices.

This place is HOT trash Wish I could give less than one star. We ordered a tv on 11-24 for the online black Friday deal on the app it said it wouldn't be ready for pick up till the 28th. but it was ready that day and we weren't told. so we go in to pick up out tv on the date it said it would be ready but low and behold they sent the tv back. and now we miss out on the deal and the tv is out of stock. so so so stupid.

This Walmart has been a staple of the Roseburg area since I was little. To me it's a quintessential Walmart, well stocked but always kind of a chaotic mess. Still wouldn't be Roseburg without its Walmart.

Almost everything is now under lock and key! I realize shop lifting is a problem, but punish the shop lifters and not the honest shoppers.
